(A)Instructions to Bidders for Filling Financial Bid

The bidder shall quote the rates in the Price / Financial Bid in typed form only. The quoted rate / percentage shall be clearly mentioned both in figures and in words in the space provided in the BOQ.

Any bid in which the rates are written by hand shall be summarily rejected and will not be considered for evaluation.

The contractor shall quote percentage above / below / at par with the estimated rate for schedule items and item-wise rates for Non-Schedule Items (NSI) as provided in the BOQ.

The quoted rates shall be inclusive of all taxes, duties, labour charges, transportation, loading, unloading, wastage, contractor’s profit and all incidental charges, unless otherwise specified.

Overwriting, cutting or correction in the quoted rates will not be accepted. If any correction is found in the financial bid, the bid may be rejected.

In case of any discrepancy between the rate quoted in figures and in words, the rate quoted in words shall prevail.

The bidder shall carefully examine the site conditions, specifications and BOQ items before quoting the rates, and no claim for additional payment shall be entertained later.

The rates quoted by the contractor shall remain valid till completion of the work and no escalation shall be payable unless specifically provided in the contract.
