Contract for Supply and Erection of Pre-fabricated structure for roofing and sheeting work for TSP Silo extension at RCF LTD CHEMBUR MUMBAI 400074

Supply of prefabricated steel structure of gantry as per the drawing provided by RCF Ltd., including detailing,fabricating using M.S. hollow tubular steel sections (Square & rectangular), of TATA 'Structura' Make or equivalent conforming to IS 4923 and of grade 'YST 310' as per specifications ( if the specified section is not available in YST310 but available in higher grade then same shall be used for which this rate shall be valid & no extra pament be made.) , transporting to site including provision of necessary erection bolts, fixingbolts, nuts, washers, cleats, stiffeners, gussets, baseplate, and all necessary fixtures and operations like preheating as perspecifications, straightening, bending, cutting, drilling, grinding, machining if specified, welding, grinding and removing the welding burr and preparing surface for painting , Including providing and applying paint as following ,1) one coat of Ethyl silicate inorganic zinc primer having DFT 70microns ,2)One coat of Epoxy MIO having DFT 70microns,3)one coat of finish epoxy paint using two pack polyamide cured epoxy having DFT 40 microns,4)one coat of aliphatic acrylic polyurethane paint having 40 microns. etc complete as directed by Engineer In Charge. (The qty. for all nuts and bolts shall be paid in this item and measured in M.T.)

Supply of prefabricated steel structure of roofing structure, as per the drawing including detailing,fabricating using M.S. hot rolled sections and MS Plates of grade Fe 250 confirming to IS 2062 latest revision, transporting to site including provision of necessary erection bolts, fixingbolts, nuts, washers, cleats, stiffeners, gussets, baseplate, and all necessary fixtures and operations like preheating as perspecifications, straightening, bending, cutting, drilling, grinding, machining if specified, welding, grinding and removing the welding burr and preparing surface for painting , Including providing and applying paint as following ,1) one coat of Ethyl silicate inorganic zinc primer having DFT 70microns ,2) One coat of Epoxy MIO having DFT 70microns,3) one coat of finish epoxy paint using two pack polyamide cured epoxy having DFT 40 microns,4) one coat of aliphatic acrylic polyurethane paint having 40 microns. etc complete as directed by Engineer In Charge. Erecting & fixing in position the prefabricated steel structure as directed, at all heights , at all levels including all necessary fixtures/tools and tackles, operations to complete the work in all respect including providing and operating crane/s of required capacity etc complete.

Providing and fixing at all heights, level and locations profile roofing sheet of 0.5 mm thickness of material grade Stainless Steel (SS) 304 including approved profileing, transportation,storage,handling etc. complete. The profiles sheets shall be fixed to purlins members in slope or required pitch with SS 304 , 8mm dia. sheeting hook of required length with EPDM seal washer over SS 316 washer etc. all inclusive of labour, scaffolding, T&P and sundries etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer-In-Charge. .

Providing and fixing of SS-304 grade Roofing accessories in 0.5 mm sheet thickness as per site requirement but width not less than 600 mm, including transportation etc complete. The accessories shall be fixed to purlin members at ridges with SS 304 , 8mm dia sheeting hook of required length with EPDM seal washer over SS 316 washer etc all inclusive of labour, scaffolding, T&P and sundries etc complete as per the directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and installation wind driven Turbo ventilators to be provided for storage area shed. Wind driven UV stabilized polycarbonate (2mm thick) base Turbine ventilators of approved make, having effective throat diameter of 600mm with polycarbonate sheet base, fixing it to roofing to match the sheeting profile. Turbine ventilators (mill finish), the turbine head and variable angle elbow is manufactured out of aluminum alloy having 0.71mm thick vanes, the shaft is made out of stainless steel SS-304, and the installation using stainless steel hardware and EPDM rubber washers and with double row ball-bearing system. SPECS: Rotation: Twin Sealed 6203ZZ/Twin Sealed 6201ZZ or equivalent approved bearings with self-lubricating to ensure frictionless rotation even at lowest wind velocity, 42 vanes, base ring MOC (Mounting Ring): SS-304, Top plate MOC: SS-304 0.8mm thick, Bearing type: SKF-6001 ZZ & 6003 ZZ or equivalent approved Perm

Supply and fixing of Roof Safety Lifeline. Safety harness line as specified by the National Building code,as directed by EIC and roof lifeline should cover entire roof area.Necessary load test certificate shall be submitted.Only Nylon, Polyester or Synthetic Fibre Shall be used.
