Short term tender for the supply of uniform cloth material to the students studying in Government schools in the State of Karnataka for the year 2026-27

The tenderer should be a manufacturer who must have manufactured, tested and supplied the item(s) similar to the type specified in the Schedule of Requirements up to at least 80% of the quantity required in any one of the last 3 years (i.e 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25) to any Central / State Govt. Organization/ PSU/private entities with in India/beyond India.

Tenders of tenderers quoting as authorized representative of a manufacturer, meeting with the above requirement in full, can also be considered provided the manufacturer furnishes authorization in the prescribed format assuring full guarantee and warranty obligations as per GCC and SCC, the tenderer, as authorized representative, has supplied, installed and commissioned satisfactorily at least 30% of the quantity similar to the type specified in the Schedule of Requirements in any one of the last three years (i.e 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25)

The bidder should have ISO 9001/ BIS/ ISI issued by competent authority/agency

The bidder must have valid OEKO TEX Standard 100 Certificate for fabric which should be issued on or before bid publishing date

Bidders bidding for single package should have production capacity i.e weaving and other processing of not less than 0.40 lakh meters/day. Bidders bidding for more than one package must possess the cumulative production capacity coterminous with corresponding package quantity for which he/she is bidding to ensure the supply is completed within 75 days from the date of issue of work order. The Bidder must produce certificates issued by Ministry of Textiles / Ministry of commerce and Industries (like SIA.)/ any competent authorities of Govt of India/state Government confirming the production capacity claimed by the bidder. The capacity claimed by the bidder must be the dedicated capacity for this tender only.

Bidder must have adequate testing facility to ensure quality of supply

Under taking that the Firm is not blacklisted by any Govt/ Quasi Govt

Valid Company Registration Certificate issued by competent authority & Principal place of Business

Certificate by the tenderer stating that all facilities exist in his factory i.e Machineries, Quality testing facility etc., are in the name of the company only. (Copy of the ownership records) or self declaration.

Income tax Registration Certificate

GST Registration Certificate and November 2025 GSTR

Bidder should submit sample of uniform cloths after last date of tender submission on the date specified in the tender document

Pollution Control Certificate granted by the Pollution Control Board for all the units / locations must be presented.

Self attested report of employees working in the manufacturing unit for the past year.

Power of attorney

Work plan, PERT chart mentioning following milestones shall be submitted by the bidder along with an affidavit that if any of the milestone, tender inviting authority will be having the liberty to abort the process

Valid Factory license issued by appropriate authority or license granted by the Bureau of Indian Standards in its name in respect of quality of cloth or SSI/UDYOG Aadhar /IEM/ MSME with NSIC issued by competent authority
