Construction of Canal Regulator (2 units)

Item No.1: Earth work in excavation in foundation of canal structures in all types of soil as per design and drawing including dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus spoils by head lead to safe distance from the working place and depositing the required spoils in uniform layers, dressing, watering, breaking clods to not more than 10mm cube with compensation, complete as directed at site. (Including bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary). (A) In all types of soils (except soil mixed with gravel and boulders). (i) For normal lead of 30m and lift of 1.50m.

Item No.2: C.C. work in proportion 1:3:6 in foundation/ abutment/ piers/ wing walls etc. with hard river shingles of size 13mm to 38mm including curing, bailing out water with necessary timber shuttering, scaffolding etc. where necessary, complete as directed. (Shuttering, scaffolding cost will be paid separately). i) With shuttering & without dewatering

Item No.3: R.C.C. work in slab, abutment cap and above abutment, pier cap, pedestal, dirt wall etc. in proportion 1:2:4 with hard river shingles of size 6mm to 20mm with propoer reinforcement as per design including necessary curing etc. with necessary timber shuttering, scaffolding etc. where necessary, complete as directed. (Shuttering, scaffolding cost will be paid separately). i) With shuttering & without dewatering :

Item No.4: Supplying, fitting, fixing and laying reinforcement (TATA) in position in R.C.C. works including cutting, bending, cranking with two plies 0.91M (20 BWG) annealed wire hooking, tying complete as directed. 12mm dia. bars @ 15cm c/c (Bothway) 10mm dia. bars 6mm dia. stirrups @ 15cm c/c

Item No.5: Earth Work in back filling of structures with earth obtaining from out side borrow pits filling with 15cm layers ramming, dressing and watering including paying compensation of land if any (with lead up to 30m & lift 1.5m).

Item No.6: 12mm thick cement plastering including clearing surface and curing, complete as directed. (ii) In proprtion 1:4

Item No.7: Supplying, fabricating and fitting the steel shutters of Head and Cross Regulators as per drawing and specification including supplying steel where necessary and manually operated hoisting equipment including carriage of all materials to work site complete as directed. H/R gate

Construction of Afflux Bund and Guide Bund

Item No. 1: Earthwork in all soils in canal embankment & bed filling as per designed section and grade by cart carriage for a minimum distance of 1km including paying compensation of earth obtained from private land if any, loading, unloading and stacking in measurable stacks not more than 1.00 m height, spreading the same in 15cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees upto 15cm dia & uprooting roots & stumps etc. from the seat of embankment, profiling with all lift complete as directed. (Payment will be made after deduction of 12.50% shrinkage allowance from the gross quantity).

Item No. 3 : Construction of 1.00M x 1.00M rectangular boulder sausage including supplying of all materials with 25cm to 30cm size river boulder collecting from a lead of 25.00Km encaged in 15cm x 15cm mesh of 8G hexagonal wire netting and filling the voids between the boulders with stone not exceeding 18cm in size tied with 8G glavd tying wire at 30cm apart laid in position as per directed including necessary local carriage of materials, paying necessary forest royalty including providing 1No of Jati bamboo horizontal runner along the top of the sausage with vertical bhaluka bamboo post 1.20M apart driven at least 0.60M below ground and tying with sausage etc all complete as directed. (With river boulder) Boulder Sausage Work

Item No. 4 : Collection & supply of one man size hard river boulder of size 23 cm to 30 cm including loading, unloading, stacking in measurable stacks at site not more than 1.00 m height including paying forest royalty, sale tax etc. including local carriage to work site etc. complete as directed. (Quarry distance from the work site is 1km quarry road and 34 km normal road). Boulder Pitching Work

Item No. 5: Labour charge for pitching with one man size boulder including dressing and ramming the seat to proper size and slope, pitching etc with local carriage of boulders from a distance of 60m with lift upto 3m complete as directed.

Item No 6.: Turfing with green grass sods of largest possible rectangles of minimum size of 30cm x 30cm x 10cm placed closely after dressing, ramming the surface and fixing the sods with split bamboo pegs watering till the grass grows with lead upto 90m and lift upto 2.5m complete as directed.

Construction of Earthen Main Canal

Item No. 1 : Earth work in filling in marginal bund/ guide bund/ Afflux bund/ canal embankment etc to the designed section and grade by obtaining earth from outside borrow pits and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 15cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees up to 15cm dia. & uprooting roots & stumps etc. from the seat of embankment and borrow pit area, breaking clods to not more than 10mm cube, ramming, dressing, roughening the seat of embankment profiling etc paying compensation of earth borrowed from private or forest land if any, lead upto 30m and lift upto 1.50m complete as directed.

Item No. 2 :- Soling in foundation at all levels including filling interstices, ramming etc. complete as directed and of specified thickness with 9cm brick on flat including sand packing.

Item No. 4:- Centering and shuttering including propping, nailing, bolting with earth oiling inside face etc. and removal of forms after completion of C.C and R.C.C works etc. complete as directed. (Measurement to be taken on face area timbered). (ii) With 38mm thick wood plank.

Item No. 2 :- Collection and supply of sand gravel (40% sand and 60% gravel of size 25mm to 60mm) free from dust and dirt including carriage from the quarry to work site, loading, unloading and stacking in measurable stacks as directed by the department, including spreading the same to the required thickness, ramming, dressing the seat before laying the materials and making payment of forest royalty etc. as directed complete. (Quarry distance from the work site is 1km quarry road and 34 km normal road).
