CERTAIN REPAIRS TO HT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM INCLUDING MAFI 11 KV, DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER, HT PANELS, EARTHING AND ALLIED REPAIRS AT DOMESTIC AND TECHNICAL AREA AT GE AF CHANDIGARH

Amount

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying/taking out of cables and foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick (punned down to 100mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm) shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Supplying and laying factory made unreinforced precast concrete cable cover HV type-1, flat, of size 300mm x180mmx40mm, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable for protection, length perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying/fixing GI pipe light grade 80mm bore for cable protection fixed to pole/wall or laid under floor/road/pavement with nuts, bolts, clamps etc as required including taking out old pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out/down old existing HT 11000 volt grade cables, size 95 Sqmm to 120 Sqmm aluminium conductor, 3core XLPE armoured, laid in trenches etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of High Tension (HT), 11000 Volts (earthed) grade, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor, cross sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3core under ground cable including both side connection with cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and precast concrete cable cover/bricks for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of High Tension (HT), 11000 Volts (earthed) grade, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3core under ground cable including both side connection with cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and precast concrete cable cover/bricks for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply, jointing & testing, indoor end termination joint kit (Heat shrinkable) complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 wire, 11KV (Earthed) grade, HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3 core, 120 to 185 Sqmm size cable, including taking outold joint kit and removal, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, jointing & testing, outdoor end termination joint kit (heat shrinkable) complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 wire, 11KV (Earthed) grade, HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3 core, 120 to 185 Sqmm size cable, including taking out old joint kit complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, jointing & testing, straight through joint kit (heat shrinkable) complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 wire, 11KV (Earthed) grade, HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3 core, 120 to 185 Sqmm size cable, including taking out old joint kit and removal, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates, fabricated from structural steel section Fe-290 grade E-165 quality including nuts, bolts, washers, and welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size with and including applying two coats of alminium paint over a coat of primer as in repair/replacement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing switch air break, triple pole, gang operated (GOD), complete with 9 insulators, drop out fuse unit mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame, non-ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arcing horns of adequate sections to break magnitising current of the transformer, with operating mechanism worked from ground level, for current rating upto 400 Amps, suitable for 11000 volts grade AC supply, as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: All ferrous parts shall be hot dipped galvanised and non-ferrous parts shall be heavily dipped to withstand weather.

Supply and fixing Lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, distribution class, discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amps, long duration current impulse to withstand 250AP/2000Seconds & energy dissipation capacity 2KJ/KV, suitable for 11000 volts grade system, fixed in position as in repair/replacement & testing omplete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing male moving contactor 400 Amp capacity, 11000 volts grade for GOD switch (as per existing make), fixed in position as in repair/replacement, commissioning & testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing female moving contactor 400 Amp capacity, 11000 volts grade for GOD switch (as per existing make), fixed in position as in repair/replacement, commissioning & testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing tinned copper Jumper of capacity 400 Amps, 11000 volts grade, for GOD switch (make as per existing), fixed in position as in repair/replacement, commissioning & testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Finding out the fault with fault locator machine and repairing/rectifying the same in HT 11000 volts grade Under Ground Cable laid more than 100 centimetre deep in tranches complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) HT cable fault shall be repaired within 04 Hrs after receiving the complaint from Engr-in-Charge, failing which a penalty of Rs.1000.00 per hour shall be recovered from the contactor.

Dismantling and removing transformer of capacity 250 KVA to 400 KVA and shifting from site to workshop for repair, opening the transformer in the presence of Engr-in-Charge, taking out coil and detaching core & core assembly for estimation of repair and damaged parts, cleaning/washing of tank and removing the dust from all parts including cores, tanks, cooling tubes, removal of damage parts, shifting back to site and refixing in position after repair, provision of cork sheet, making connection, including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling and removing transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 160 KVA and shifting from site to workshop for repair, opening the transformer in the presence of Engr-in-Charge, taking out coil and detaching core & core assembly for estimation of repair and damaged parts, cleaning/washing of tank and removing the dust from all parts including cores, tanks, cooling tubes, removal of damage parts, shifting back to site and refixing in position after repair, provision of cork sheet, making connection, including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed. Note for Item No 20 & 21. The rewinding of transformer as required and Parts to be replaced shall be measured and paid under respective items here-in-after.

Material and labour for copper winding coils of required size and specification with super enamelled superior quality copper wire of suitable size on primary side of transformer (HV side), complete with insulation, varnishing, vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly etc as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for taking down LT Coil of Distribution Transformer, straigntening the LT Strip including brazing to the burnt spot, insulating the strip after straightening and rewinding the strip with LT limb with insulation (Cotton Tape), varnishing, vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly etc as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Gun metal globe/gate valve with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe of size 25 mm bore as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only silica gel to transformers breather assembly including taking out of old existing U/S silca gel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only breathers Assembly complete with silica gel for transfomer of capacity 63 to 100 KVA as in repair/replacement complete all as required and as directed.

Supply only breathers Assembly complete with silica gel for transfomer of capacity 160 to 400 KVA as in repair/replacement complete all as required and as directed.

Supply and fixing factory made (CPRI approved with latest Norms), HT bus bar Panel, size 1500mmx1000mmx900mm, cubical, outdoor type (Kiosk), weather proof, dust proof and vermin proof, IP-65 protection, fabricated out of 3.15mm thick MS CRCA sheet mounted on frame of appropriate size angle iron, welded on 50mmx50mmx6mm size angle iron frame & having four Nos legs made out of 50mmx50mmx6mm size of angle iron - 75 cm long each, welded below frame, front & back openable with front double door having locking arrangements, bottom space for cable entry, provision of glands, with Aluminium bus bar 200 Amps rating - 01 set (set of three) mounted on 6Nos HT post type insulators, 11000 volts grade of suitable size duly sleeved with relevant colour code insulation & provision for 01No incoming & 02 Nos outgoing cables, including spray painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in dark grey shade over a coat of red oxide primer, duly provided with danger notice board 11000 volts, legs embedded in ground in PCC (1:2:4) type B1, (using 20mm graded stone agreegate) bed blocks of size 30cmx30cmx30cm as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing HT epoxy coated copper bus bar insulator of 130mmx70mm size, suitable for 11000 Volts as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanized iron strip of size 25mmx4mm thick (upto body of equipment) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & GI washers, connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 32mm dia bore, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI light grade pipe with funnel & wire mesh, with and including including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion, as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI strip and protection pipe of length 7.5m, GI pipe beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 2 Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 2 Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.

Material and labour for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead or lightning conductor, 25mmx4mm GI strip, fixed to wall on batten with saddles and fixing screws, PVC/ Porcelain insulators etc. or recessed or in chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing LT brass bush rod 16 mm dia with brass washer/ nuts & bolts for transfermers as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing LT brass bush rod 20 mm dia with brass washer/ nuts & bolts for transfermers as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing LT brass bush rod 25 mm dia with brass washer/ nuts & bolts for transfermers as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing HT brass bush 12 mm dia with brass washer/ nuts & bolts for transfermers as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour only for serviceing of 11 KV VCB installed at various location of 12 wing by carraying the following job work:- (i) Disconnecting the VCB from main electric circuit by taking out the incomming and outgoing connection after isolating supply from main incommer. (ii) Taking out trolley of the brakers and checking of mechanical operation system, including spring, locking latch and other parts for smooth operation of the parts. (iii) Cleaning of moving and fixed contact with the help of rust proof oil including smoothening of contact and taking out the deposited carbon material. (iv) Tightening of complete bushing by insertion of rubber ring , washer etc complete. (v) Testing of vaccum bottle for its serviceability and oiling the wheel and channel for trouble free operation complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (vi) Callibration of over load relays , earth fault relay for tripping timing with the help of manual fault machine and adjustment and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Any spares required for maintenance of VCB panel shall be measured and paid separetely under respective item of BoQ and labour for fixing of these items shall deem to be included in unit rate quoted.

Material and labour for preparation of old rusted steel sufaces of structure Two pole HT/LT swaged poles (of any length) and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint up to 1.2 metre height as per the existing pattern above the PCC coping and one coat of aluminium paint beyond 1.2 meter height (for the rest portion) including cross arms brackets and re-writing pole numbers complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for pole and stay complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of pole etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Horizontal Boring of Holes under road, Pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding techique and necessary machine with and including provision of HDPE pipe of size 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for painting of transformer indoor/outdoor type installed on double pole structure/raised plinth structure with two coats of synthetic enamel paint after throughly scrapping/cleaning the rusted portion and preparing the surface complete for following capacity transformer :-

Transformer 63 to 125 KVA

Transformer 160 to 200 KVA

Transformer 250 to 400 KVA

Material and labour for filteration and Dehydration of HV/EHV grade transformer oil (desludging of transformer minimum three cycles to achieve dielectric strenth upto 60KV(rms) for EHV grade and upto 60KV (rms) for HV grade at 2 mm/2.5 gap complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling into transformers and other equipments transformer oil superior quality having di-electric strength not less than 50 KV at 2.0 mm gap, ISI marked, (package of 210 litre sealed drum), installed at various locations with and including taking/draining out old existing burnt/used/overage transformer oil complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix double needle tempreature gauge of approved make as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the existing unserviceable rubber gasket sheet of transformer of any capacity after taking shut down, including opening all electric connections , nuts bolts, HT bushes and providing new rubber gasket sheet 3.0 mm thick with nuts bolts and all electric connetions, testing of transformer on load complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying synthetic rubber insulated mats 25mm thick for voltage upto 11 KV for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of size 2mx1m, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Compression/crimping type sleeve joints for jointing conductors/jumper connections upto 10mm dia of conductor wire overall, including treatment with conducting jelly complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enamelled white with letters figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 250 x 200 mm size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying insulating Mat Class B safe working voltage 11KV with thickness not less than 2.5mm with + 10% tolerance and length of any dimensions, oil resistance, Acid ressistance and flame resistance conforming to IS 15652-2006. Mat shall be affixed to the surface (duly V cut) with high class bounding adhesive complete all as specifed and as directed .

Material and labour for roughening and preparation of concrete/slab/wall surfaces with wire brushes, sweeping, cleaning and washing down with water to remove all loose dirt/dust and brushing neat cemeny slurry @ 3Kg/sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: The Total amount shall subject to adjustment of credit of Rs. 359766.00 for old Materials as per Schedule of Credit.
