Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including removing cable protection PCC covers/ bricks & stacking serviceable covers / bricks for reuse and disposal of unserviceable covers within 50 m all as directed.Note : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and protection covers.(ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations.
