Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead above 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead above 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Construction of embankment using tractor with grader with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (Filling with Cut Earth)

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503

Providing and laying bituminous Macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical specification clause. 504. (Using Hydrostatic Paver finisher)

Providing and laying bituminous Macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous @ 2.94% and PMBcubes (bit plast) @ 0.56% by weight of total wise and filler transporting the hot mix to work site laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical specification clause. 504.using Grade -II material and bitumen VG 30 (Using Hydrostatic Paver Finisher)

Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 25 mm thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.9 mm (Type-A) or 13.2mm to 0.9mm (Type-B) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 8-10 KN static roller and finishing to required level and grades as per Technical Specification Clause 509 (Using Hydrostatic Paver finisher)

Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 25 mm thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.9 mm (Type-A) using premixed bitumen binder @ 23.10 kg/10sqm and PMB cubes (pit blast) @ 4.4kg/10sqm to required line aggregates grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 8-10 kN static roller and finishing to required level and grades as per MoRD Technical specification Clause 509 (Using Hydrostatic Paver Finisher)

Provision of 15 nos. rumble strips covered with premix bituminous carpet, 15-20 mm high at centre, 250mm wide placed at 1 m centre to centre at approved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of road marking paint.

Providing and fixing of PMGSY logo with separate description board at the starting point /intermediate distance as per standard drawing of PMGSY scheme. The top most plate will be in diamond shape of 600mm x 600 mm size, and the lower M.S.Plate of size 1100mm x 300mm x 1.6mm thick ( angular cut at one end showing the direction / palin end of PMGSY Scheme name ). The M.S. Sheet (1.6mm thick ) shall be strengthened by 25mm x 5mm MS flat iron on logo and on bottom plate at edges. The iron frame of both the boards shall be fixed, welded to single 75mm x 75mm (12SWG) sheet tube post. The post shall be embedded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, below the ground level. The height of the bottom of the lower plate will be 1200mm from the bottom of the post. The spacing between the top diamond shape board and lower plate shall be 150mm. The PMGSY logo and lettering in the description board shall be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour as specified. All the sections of frame and posts shall be painted primer and two coat of epoxy paint. The design, painting and lettering shall be done as per approved drawing.

Project Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three M.S. plates of 1.6mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges. The lower plates will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25 mm x 25mm x 5 mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of the middle plate will be welded 2 nos. 75mm x 75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 500mm below the ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrow, border etc., will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour, all sections of framed posts and steel tubes will be painted primer and two coat of epoxy paint as per drawing clause 1701 and annexure 1700.1.

The frames for board shall be made 2 Nos. of horizontal members MS tubes and 2 Nos. of vertical members ( 75mm x75mm x 12 SWG tubes) posts duly embedded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 600 mm x 600mm 750mm, 750mm below the ground level. The main frame shall stiffened and welded with inner frame using MS tubes 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG comprising 4 horizontal members and 2 vertical members. Two MS sheet of size 900mm x 750mm and 1.6mm thick duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges for information messages shall be fixed firmely to the inner frame. All MS will be stove enamelled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc., will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of frame posts shall be painted with primer and two coat of epoxy paint. The design, painting and lettering shall be done as per approved drawing.

Providing and fixing 3M make reflective road studs of category 'A' raised pavement markers made out of poly carbornate / ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm the length, height the width of the body shall not be less than 100mm, 15mm and 90mm and base of marker shall be flat within 1.3mm (3 M or equivalent). The markers shall support a load of 13635Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. Lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming ASTM D788. The area of each retro reflectory surface shall not be less than 13.0Sq.cm. The slope or retro - reflectory surface shall be 35+5 degree to base. Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in table 1 of said MORTH & H circular and two cylindrical Polymer Shanks not less than 30mm diameter and not less than 30mm length shall be provided for better anchorage with bituminous grout or epoxy mortor all as per the MORTH circular No.RW/NH.33023/10/97-DO-III, dt.11.06.97.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm. Area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streak and holes.

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703 (i) Ordinary Kilometer Stone (Precast)

(ii) 200 m stone (precast)

(iii) Guard Stone

GST Amount for providing Service to Government Contract Work @18% of the (sum of total quoted Construction cost & total employer indicated Maintenance cost for 5 years)

Towards the charges for routine maintenance of the road work executed under PMGSY including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with gravel, Trimming to grass, wild seasonal growth on berms, repairs to pot holes in BT surface, Maintenance of Slab type culverts by way of clearing, cleaning, erosion, repair, repairs to cracks, parapet walls, white washing guard stones, painting KM stones, parapets, refixing desplaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc with the peiodicity for the above activiies as prescribed in IRC- SP-20-2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost.
