Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth width and not exceeding 1.5m depth for laying under ground cable in loose/soft soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item No 1 here-in-before but depth exc 1.5 m and not exc 3m for poles

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of surplus soil obtained from excavated material not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. .

M & L for sand cushioning with dry coarse sand to under ground cable 23 cm thick, 8 cm thick below the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.

M&L for laying burnt old size bricks , sub class "B" bricks straight or curved on plan , laid flat with width equal to length of brick , laid dry over electric cable for protection complete all as specified.

M&L for Boring hole across the Road/plinth/hardstanding/path/drain/pavement etc suitable for inserting GI pipe of upto 80mm dia bore pipe for cable passing without damaging existing road/path/hardstanding/floor by manual using trenchless technology tools/necessary equipment complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

S & F 80mm dia GI tube light grade with all fitting and fixed to wall and celling or laid in floors/under road etc with mild steel clamp , bolts ,nuts and washers complete all as specdied and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

All as per item No 8 here-in-before but 100 mm dia pipe.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning in replacement of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 11 KV grade of cross-sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core, IS 7098 marked, suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system , laid in trenches / ducts / encased in GI pipe / fixed to pole complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation and earth work, brick protection, sand cushioning and GI protection pipes shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

S & F in replacement Pre-stressed cement concrete pole, 11 metre long of cross section 152mm x 152mm at top and 152 mm x 260 mm at bottom, class 9, complying with requirements of IS-1678-1998 errecting truly in vertical position including painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer in alternate strip of 30 cm each in black and white colour upto 1.5 metre height from top of PCC pedestal/coping of poles complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement stay assembly complete with accessories as shown electrical plate No. 1 of SSR Part I for HT poles with 20 mm dia stay rod complete all as specifed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Loop type insulator excavation and concrete will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of BoQ.

S&F in replacement of jumper wire PVC bedded electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor 11 KV (E) grade cross sectional area 70 sqmm single core as jumper /connecting lead on section pole of OH, GODs, HT Fuses etccomplete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of jumper wire PVC bedded electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor 11 KV (E) grade cross sectional area 50 sqmm single core as jumper /connecting lead on section pole of OH, GODs, HT Fuses etccomplete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Re-stretching of existing HT/LT aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size (In-situ) on over head lines fixed on insulators from 02/04 pole structure after loosening from insulators and fixing on pin, Disc insulator same with new aluminum binding wire 2 mm dia complete all as directed. Note : Pin insulator and disc insulator shall be measured and paid separately under respective item..

Cutting/ trimming of tree branches not exc 10 cm girth touching/approaching the LT/HT overhead lines upto 3 metre width on each side with hacksaw/axe to clear the LT/HT line including disposal of trimmed branches 100 Metre away inside the cantonment area & clearing site complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/loose soil including cleaning of E&M installation premises, uprooting of tiny trees, tree cutting , cleaning , leveling , spreading bushes, beeds, grass and removing poly bags, brick bats, stone pebels debris , Cleaning of sub station bldg , two pole / four pole structuire area , HT line etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supplying and straining in replacement GI earth wire 4 mm diaas in guarding cradle on HT/LT overhead line, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting, dismantling and taking down carefully ACSR conductor from poles of LT/HT any size and setting a side complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, straining and stringing of Aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) conductor including binding wires of suitable size and suitable conductors / parallel grooves clamp etc other jointing materials for overhead lines of any sizes as required at site including cutting of tree branches falling on the site of work comlete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling/ taking down old cross arms, clamps, braces etc of any section from pole including nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :Cost of cutting of bolts (Slag bolts) if reqd shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

M&L for fabrication of cross arms bracings supports,clamps and back plates,iron stainer, water gate, ladder for clear water tank etc as required structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding,bending, cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size and including of one coat of primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

Collecting & transporting carefully the unserviceable step down transformers 11000/433 volts 3 phase 4 wire oil cooled copper/ aluminium wound of capacity 63 to 150 KVA (outdoor/indoor type) from AGE (E/M) store yard, stripping up of winding/ core to ascertain the defects/ defective parts, transporting to work shop and replacement of defective parts,, insulting materials impregnated paper, cleaning & desclaing the transformer scraping out of old paint & spray painting with superior quality smoke grey syntheic enamel paint to all exposed surface, assembling the transformers, filling dehydrated new oil complete after repairs, testing and writing MES & SM Numbers with white paint over black base in letters of height not less than 10 cm, transporting back to site from repair workshop and installing, hoisting of transformers on two/four pole sturcture at height not less than 3 meter, making all electric connetions with HT/LT side jumbers and leads including earth connections etc. and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note : i) Transformers shall be got repaired form factory/ work shop as directed by Engineer-in-Charge ii) The transformer shall be dismantled in presence fo contractor and MES representative/AGE E/M iii) The defective parts to be replaced shall be measured & paid for separately as supply only under respective items of BOQ (iv) Safe oil container for collecting old transformer oil will be arragement by contractor. (v) The T&P such as chain pulley, crane for loading unloading, transporting and for installing and hoisting shall also be arranged by the contractor at his own arrangement.

Dehydration/filtration of transformers oil of existing transformers (out door/indoor , step up/step down) ,/ Voltage stabilizers at site by means of oil dehydration machine having arrangement for heating to remove the moisture silt/sludge and wastage removing arrangement etc to make the oil fit for use in accordance with IS-1886 to achieve minimum dielectric strength of 42 KV by continoues process of dehydration complete including testing at standard gap of 2mm by oil testing machine complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note :- (i) Electricity for running dehydration machine & testing shall be provided by the deptt free of cost. (ii) Testing machine to be arranged by the contractor under his own arrangement.

Cleaning sprinkled transformer oil, grease and all other foreign materials from external surfaces of transformers of capacity 63 to 500 KVA and preparing the surface to receive paint and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (spray painting) including writing MES number and SM Number with white paint over black base in letters not less than 10 cms in height complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge . Note : Painting & cleaning carried out as per location of transformer site

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt, connected to galvanised iron earth strip 32 x 6 mm thick fixed by means of bolts, nuts and washers of the earth wire galvanised iron or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth strips connected to earthing test point and protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade 40mm dia and watering pipe 20mm dia GI medium grade with socket and above ground level including earthwork, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm stone aggregate, cast iron cover, wire mesh etc all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I of SSR-2009 complete and all as specified and direcrted by Engr-in-charge Notes :- (i) 20 mm dia GI pipe for watering to be provided with a socket and plug and should be 30 cms above ground level. S&F for Isolating 66 KV BUS system, temporary earth connection of BUS system removing old paint from surface of pole structure & LA tower by scraping, rubbing and making good surface for painting for two coats of aluminium paint on rusted pealed out surface after cleaning all 66 KV GRID Structure complete as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repair to brocken platform of transformers of any size, top brick surface of platform shall be finish with 40 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and sides shall be plastered in CM (1:6), 15 mm thick, exposed surface shall be applied with 2 coats of white wash omplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note : A sum of Rs. 6,83,487.00 will be deducted on account of credit for taken down material.
