SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROAD AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS FROM BLDG NO SH 50 TO REAR GATE OF BLDG NO P 74 AT FD REGT MADUKARAI COIUMBATORE UNDER GE WELLINGTON

M & L for Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen and putting in pre mixed bituminous mecadam using paving bitumen, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of pre mixed mecadam binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked/mud etc. sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm on existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid by using mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Applying 2.5 mm thick road marking paint with reflective thermoplastic white road marking paint confirming to BS-3262 (1989), either continuous or broken lines over existing or new painting surfaces of cement or bituminous surfaces (continuous lines, centre lines, dashes, stop lines, arrows etc), n.exc 10 cm width laid down through road marking machine using thermo plastic material by incorporating the white glass powder for reflectivity in white or golden yellow colour by using applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil grease and foreign material etc complete as direction of Engr-in-Charge and in accordance with applicable specification complete all as specified and as directed.(Note: (i) Road marking paint shall confirm to MORTH 803.4 Ver III (Specifications for thermoplastic road marking materials), (ii) The colour, width and layout of road markings shall be in acordance with Code of Practice for road marking with paints, IRC:35)

S & F in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings n.exc 15cm thickness, (Below or above Ground level) complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge

M & L for 100 mm thick, plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-base of flooring, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sandcomplete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.complete all as specified and directed.
