REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING WINDOWS / DOORS WITH ALUMINIUM WINDOWS / DOORS AND PROVISION OF WEATHER SHADES FOR WINDOWS IN BUILDING NO P-437 AT JAK LI REGIMENTAL CENTRE, SRINAGAR UNDER GE 970 EWS

S&F rolled mild steel sections channel angle Tee section and in tubular section as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins,post where connected to common rafters and running rails fixed with angle cleat or other connecting plates conforming to Fe 410-W Gde-E-250, quality A, complete all as specified. .

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based designed corrugated steel sheet (Khaprail Design) 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws using torque adjustable electronic gun screws drills of suitable capacity complete all as specified.

M&L for cutting chases, pinning in, making good to facing where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to cut the brick wall to embed the Galvalume sheet inside the existing wall etc and making good, cutting not exc 10cm girth all as specified and as directed

M&L for providing PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 as in roof kerbs or mud stops rouded or chamfered on edges , coping etc. (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specifed and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc raking out joints hacking for key scrabbing down water etc complete.

M&L for 15mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces using WPC where ever required as per manufacturerer's instructions and finishing the surface even and smooth (without using extra cement) etc. incl finishing even and fair complete all as specified NOTE:- WPC shall be measured and paid separetely under respective item of BOQ.

Supply only WPC complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces on wall/roof projections including facia, cornices etc and applying exterior water proof wall care putty @ 1Kg (undiluted) per sq mtr of average thickness 1mm or 2mm over the prepared plastered wall/ceiling surfaces, one or more coats and grinding the puttied surfaces with mechanical grinder for make the surface even and smooth for receiving primer and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistane asper IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives & Color stay technology, excellent dirt pickup resistance @ 1.79 litre/10 Sqm diluted with water as per manufacturers instructions over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.9 litre (undiluted) /10 Sqm over new putyy surfaces of wall/ceiling complete all as specified and directed. Note : Paint using Airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr the spray machine should be of reputed.

M&L for Complete removal of existing treatment on external wall/roof projections including facia, cornices etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean, free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour with mechanial sander having RPM of 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean enviornment and preparation of old plastered/srapped surfaces of wall/ceiling by filling cracks by external wall putty/crack fill paste and applying exterior water proof wall care putty @ 1Kg (undiluted) er sq mtr of average thickness 1mm or 2mm over the prepared plastered wall/ceiling surfaces, one or more coats and grinding the puttied surfaces with mechanical grinder for make the surface even and smooth for receiving primer and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acryli smooth exterior emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistane asper IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives & Colour stay technology, excellent dirt pickup resistance @ 1.79 litre/10 Sqm diluted with water as per manufacturers instructions over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.9 litre (undiluted) /10 Sqm over old/new putyy surfaces of wall/ceiling complete all as specified and directed. Note for Ser No 08 & 09. The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the material like Exterior Emulsion Paint, Putty etc for approval of the GE for execution of the work. (b) The contractor shall submit the documents i.e. 'Memoradum of Understanding' (MoU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract as soon as the work is accepted. (c) Use of Scaffolding , trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc. (e) Work in patches and in narrow/widths, bands, cornies, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wiring etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Sample patch of 10 Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carring out future work. (j) The work shall be carried out up to 4 the storey. (k) Incl removal of vegetation on walls incl roots on wall surfaces.

M&L Labour for brick work with sub class `B’ bricks, straight on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work in CM 1:6 finished even and fair without using extra cement complete.

M&L for 2mm thick wall care putty on wall complete all as specified and as directed

M&L Preparing new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion, white or tinted over & including a coat of primer complete.

M&L for complete removal of existing surface and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer white or tinted on old decorated/undecorated surfaces of wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 16-20 mm thick Granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window-cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite over screed bed of 15 mm thick 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Material & labour Three Track powder coated anodised aluminum frame and shutters for windows and ventilators with for anodised aluminium shutters for windows and ventilators with for anodised aluminium shutter two Nos fully glazed 5.5 mm thick tinted or plain glass with one No shutter having stainless steel mosquito proofing net 0.63 mm dia with 1.40 mm aperature with and including necessary rubber packing aluminium beading and necessary locking arrangement and powder coating of any colour (Thickness or powder coating not less than 50 micron) complete all as specified and directed. Sections of window shall be aluminium sections as follows:- (a) Three track frame bottom and top section 92 mm x 31.75 mm x 1.3 mm thick with weight 1.065 KG per RM. (b) Three track frame bottom and top section 92 mm x 31.75 mm x 1.3 mm thick with weight 0.929 KG per RM. (c) Shutter bottom and top 40 mm x 18 mm x 1.55 mm thick with weight 0.547 Kg per RM. (d) Shutter sides 40 mm x 18 mm x 1.55 mm thick with weight 0.547 Kg per RM. NOTE: (i) The rates shall be inclusive of supply & fixing of rubber packing / gasket, SS wire mesh & glass pane of suitable size and all necessary arrangemetn to fixing frame with brick wall / concrete surface. (ii) The rates shall be inclusive to make good the damage portion of brick wall / concrete surface with PCC 1:3:6 & CM (1:3) to match with existing surface.

Supply and fixing for aluminium alloy anodized (powder coated) door fame and shutters with hollow aluminium anodized section as specified, shutter (two panels) fully glazed / partly glazed or fully panelled with and including 18mm thick (both side) prelaminated block board exterior grade / 5.5mm thick tinted or plain glass including aluminium alloy anodized snap type beads, dish type door handles, glazed clip joint cleats, rubber gasket, dead lock 4 levers, two numbers of aluminium alloy anodized tower bolts to each leaf, stainless steel hinges 3 Nos etc. including fixing frame to brick wall/ RCC members with rawl plugs complete all as specified and directed. Sections of doors shall be aluminium hollow sections as follows:- (a) Door frmae single groove 101mm x 44mm x 3mm thick. (b) Shutter top 83 mm x 44mm x 3mm thick. (c) Shutter bottom 114 mm x 44mm x 3mm thick. (d) Shutter vertical top 85 mm x 44mm x 3mm thick. (e) Shutter middle 83 mm x 44mm x 3mm thick. (f) Gauging clip weighing not less than 0.0978kg/metre. NOTE: (i) The rates shall be inclusive of supply & fixing of rubber packing / gasket, SS wire mesh & glass pane of sutiable size and all necessary arrangement to fixing frame with brick wall / concrete surface. (ii) The rates shall be inclusive to make good the damage portion of brick wall / concrete surface with PCC 1:3:6 & CM (1:3) to match with existing surface.

S&F Double action floor spring hydraulically regulated made up of minimum 1.25 mm thick aluminium alloy sheet foundation box, main body with stainless steel cover, governing pivot made of brass, other parts made of mild steel heavy duty incl making hole and fixing with cement complete all as specified.

S&F in repair door closer aluminium extruded section hydraulically regulated, designation No 3, universal type, suitable for door shutters of 851 to 1000 mm in width and of weight between 61 to 80kg and fixed.

S&F powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions (Fixed portions) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS:733 and IS:1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing powder coated aluminium windows and ventilator shutters,sliding or fixed type without sash bars , aluminium section weighting 0.55 kg / m including necessary joining cleats , glazing clips ,roller, rubber packing, anodised aluminium snap beading , screws,anodised aluminium fitting such as peg stays hinges,handle,locking device, louvers, rollers etc. complete all as specified. (Note:- Glass pane and mesh will be measured and paid separately)

S&F Sheet tinted glass 4.8mm thick tinted glass and glazing in squares complete all as specified and as direccted

S&F figured glass pin headed type and glazing with oil putty in square n. exc 0.5 sqm in each pane 4mm thick glass complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples complete all as specified

Notes :- Amount of Credit Schedule for Schedule 'A' Part-ll shall be deducted from total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
