Providing Road Furnitures

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness 2.5mm exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per MORTH & H specification.

Providing and fixing reflective road studs of category B raised pavement markers made out of polycarbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels (bi-convex reflectors) with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro-reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW/NH.33023/10/97-DO.III dt.11.06.97 and the length, height and width of the body shall not be less than 100 mm, 15 mm and 90 mm and base of marker shall be flat within 1.3 mm. The marker shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. Lenses shall be moulded of polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The area of each retro-reflectory surface shall not be less than 13.0 sq.cm. The slope of retro-reflectory surface shall be 35+5 degree to base. Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in table 2 of said MORTH circular and two cylindrical Polymer shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be provided for better anchorage 3.5m spacing.

Providing and Fixing of Retro Reflectorised Cautionary, mandatory and Informatory signs made of High Intensity Prismatic Grade Sheeting conforming to IRC 67-2010 and ASTM D 4956-09, type IV Specification and fixed over 1.5mm thick Aluminium sheet fixed on back supporting frame of 25mm x 25mm x 3mm Mild steel angle and supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75mm x6mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm, 60cm below Ground level etc complete including 7 year warranty for the Retro Reflective Sheeting as per clause 6.9 of IRC 67:2010 Specification (As per MORT & H specification No.801)
