REPAIRS TO THE LEAKY FLAT ROOF OF ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING AND FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS BUILDING AT HVF, AVADI.

Removal of existing damaged Waterproofing Course by mechanical means using angle grinder, rotary scrapers and other suitable tools, including complete removal of existing waterproofing layers to expose the bare concrete surface. Cleaning of the exposed concrete surface using wire brushes, industrial vaccum cleaners, air blowers and water jetting complete and disposal of removed debris as directed. The surface shall be dust free to receive the further treatment.

Material and Labour for cutting out wall cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing and walls etc., Taking down plastering / cement dado / terazzo or cement lime plaster, cleaning out and application of polyurethene based sealant for filling of wall cracks upto 20 mm width and 10 mm depth. PU Sealant material shall have elongation more than 700%, wetting, of any description, grouting rag bolts or rag angle iron service bracket, Hexagonal Chicken wire Mesh Galvanized with wire nail and making good with cement mortar 1:3 including making good finishing to match the existing work before wall plastering tie to chicken wire mesh using nail and as approved by EIC.

(i)Material and Labour for surface preparation by removing all unsound concrete by chipping on all affected ceiling areas till reinforcement bars are exposed and sound concrete is achieved.(ii)The exposed reinforcement bars to be cleaned throughly with wire brush with a bright state.(iii)Application of rust remover to remove the complete corrosion from the reinforcement.(iv)Applying zinc rich based anti corrosive coating by brush on rebars and also sprinkle sharp silica sand after application just when it is tacky including new rebars with anchoring / welding /binding.(v)Applying bond coat between new and old concrete for affective bonding with SBR Lated Modified cementitious bond coat over the exposed reinforcement in ratio1:1to 1:1.5of polymer and cement.(vi)Applying polymer modified fibre reinforced thixotropic repair mortar of thickness15mm.(vii)Applying cement plaster mixing with SBR@500ML per bag of cement will be plastered in CM1:4 in ceiling/beams/columns etc.,(viii)Applying water based curing compound by brush or by roller for better curing.

Material and Labour for preparation of Expansion joint by cleaning / removal of all old loose particles inside the joint and making the joint dust free and fit for new application. Material and labour for application of specially formulated PU sealant having elongation more than 700% shall be used by the Contractor. The Contractor shall use (HYPERSEAL EXPERT 150 of Alchemica, Seal N Flex 1 of Bostik or master builders solutions Dr.CIPY Make) (or) Suitably equivalent make. The PU Sealant shall be applied over a primer base coat like (MICROSEALER 50 of Alchemica N49 Primer of Bostik or master builders solutions Dr.CIPY Make) (or) Suitably equivalent make, including all necessary arrangements for complete leak proof expansion joint (width of expansion joint vary from 20 mm to 40 mm and depth 150 mm to 200 mm) depending on site conditions. including removal of old G.I sheet/ Aluminium sheet from the position and refixing wherever existing and S&F of new G.I sheet/ Aluminium sheet over the expansion joint wherever found necessary.

Supply and Application of Polyurethane based sealant for filling of visible cracks up to 10 mm width and 5 mm depth. PU sealant material shall have elongation more than 700%. The Contractor shall use (Hyperseal expert 150 of Alchemica / Seal Arm PU of MYK Arment/ SNF one plus P590 of Bostik/ Masterseal NP 473 U of Master Builders Solutions / Cipoxy 16 D of Dr.Fixit) (or) Suitably equivalent make as approved by EIC and finishing the top surface.

Supply and Application of seamless Polyurethane (PU) based elastomeric coating exposable to atmosphere. The work consisting of: - a) Supply and Application of PU based primer minimum of 100 gms per SqM. b) Supply and Application of seamless PU based elastomeric coating over a primer coat to achieve a thickness of 1.5 mm DFT in two coats, with an application rate of minimum 2.1 Kg/SqM, having minimum solid content (ASTM 836) of more than 85% and elongation also more than 400%. c) Supply and Application of Protective UV top coat @ 0.25 Kg/SqM {The Contractor shall use the material from the reputed manufacturers such as ("Master Builders Solutions", "Dr. Fixit", "Alchemica", "Technopol") (or) Suitably equivalent make having minimum solid content of 85% as per ASTM 836 only as approved by EIC}.

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade on New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm)

Disconnecting existing tanks, Exceeding 500 and not exceeding 1000 LIT setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. (Cleaning repairing, etc. measured separately)
