OUTSOURCING OF SERVICES FOR OPERATION OF DG SET AND STP UNDER GE (AWC) MHOW

Operation of 04 Nos DG Sets alongwith connected control panels and equipments by deploying one High skilled operator (FGM) under mentioned shifts including operation of DG Sets in case of electric power failure including Sunday and Gazetted holidays and to maintain of log sheets complete at the following locations all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site. (a) DG Set 320 kVA (Junior Command Wing) - 01 Shift (0800 to 1600 hrs). (Total shifts 334) (b) DG Set 100 kVA (Higher Command Wing) - 01 Shift (0800 to 1600 hrs). (Total shifts 334) (c) DG Set 100 kVA & 30 kVA (Senior Command Wing) - 01 Shift (0800 to 1600 hrs). (Total shifts 334)

Operation of 01 Nos STP Sets alongwith connected control panels and equipments by deploying one High skilled operator (FGM) in under mentioned shifts including operation of STP Sets in case of electric power failure including Sunday and Gazetted holidays and to maintain of log sheets complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge:- (a) STP 250 KLD (Student Officer Mess) - 02 Shifts (0600 to 1400 hrs, 1400 to 2200 hrs and 2200 to 0600 hrs).

Notes :- For item No 1.00 and 2.00. (a) The operator (FGM) must be highly skilled and ITI qualified with minimum four years experience in concerned operator field and fully conversant for maintenance and operation of DG Sets/ STP. (b) The operator (FGM) must adhere with the dress code as directed. (c) The operator (FGM) must be skilled to maintain the records. (d) The operator (FGM) is responsible for cleaning and upkeep of complete installation premises and equipment regularly. (e) In case of any major break down/ faults, operator (FGM) must inform to contractor, JE E/M, Engineer-in-Charge or GE (AWC) immediately. (f) The generator operator (FGM) is responsible for the following :- (i) Maintenance of Batteries and battery charger (The cost of distilled water, electronic and other materials required for maintenance of batteries are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate). (ii) Oil shall be issued Sch 'B' free for filling only and to be collected from AGE E/M-II store yard for maintenance and operation of DG Set without any extra cost to the Department. (Transport will be provided by the Department). NOTE:- If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost of the work i.e, 13.694 lakhs, then the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB in favour of Accepting officer within 10 days of opening of financial bid for the difference in estimated cost i.e 13.694 lakhs & quoted amount. In case the said FDR/BGB is not submitted within stipulated period as mentioned above, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months and his bid will be rejected. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work.
