Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal GL and connected to earth plate . Earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt upto 1.5 meter depth all around the earth plate and connected to earth lead of GI strip of 25x4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to Plant/equipment and protected by galvanized iron or steel pipe light grade and water pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, including all necessary excavation and earth work PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover and all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Pt I of 2009 and also including making test point for testing of earthing made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25 mm complete. Note:- On testing after completion of earthing if desired earth resistance below 5 ohms is not achieved, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.
