SPECIAL REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF PS TANK AT SHILLONG UNDER GE SHILLONG

Dismantling and taking down old serviceable / unserviceable pressed steel plate / sheet of any description (top, bottom and side of tank) including nuts and bolts from existing over head pressed steel tank, upto 16m height staging, by unscrewing / opening / cutting the nuts & bolts including jointing materials and stacking serviceable materials (duly cleaned) properly in safe custody for re-use at site and removing unserviceable materials from site of works complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note:- Rates quoted are inclusive of scaffolding and other required arrangements for dismantling / fixing of plates / staging and painting complete)

Material and labour for Refixing serviceable pressed steel plate / sheet for top, bottom and side of tank for over head pressed steel tank up to 16 mtr height staging (obtained from BOQ Item No 1.00 above), with and including provision of new nuts & bolt, jointing material such as good quality rubber gasket, lead wool, wire, black putty etc to make the joints leak proof, including arc welding if / as necessary, complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- Serviceable pressed steel plates /sheet obtained from item no 1.00 above shall be reused under this item. Rates quoted are inclusive of scaffolding and other required arrangements for dismantling / fixing of plates / staging and painting complete)

Supply and fixing new pressed steel plate of size 1.25m x1.25m x 5/6 mm thick (top, bottom and side of tank) for over head pressed steel tank upto 15m height staging, with and including provision of nuts & bolts, jointing materials such as good quality rubber gasket, lead wool, wire, black putty etc to make the joints leak proof, including arc welding, if necessary complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F in repairs, mild steel joist, channel, angle, plain plates or 'Tee' section including cutting, drilling, fabrication, etc. to required length as in staging for water tank (upto 16m height staging) and connected works conforming to Fe 290, E-165 quality-A, including welding or screwing with nuts, bolt and washers complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge..

M & L for preparation of new / old steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of food grade black japan (bituminous lead free) paint (suitable for drinking water), over a coat of red oxide primer to pressed steel overhead tank (internally) upto 15m height staging, above ground level complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge..

M & L for preparation of new / old steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of food grade synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to pressed steel overhead tank (externally) upto 16m height staging above ground level, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F wooden / scale conventional water level indicator complete with float, wire, float guide pipe, bracket & pulley, counter weight, indicator pin, etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F over flow indicatiing / annunciating device suitable for upto 16 m height Overhead tank with hooter system, PVC pipe protection for sensor wire, including testing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.
