PROVISION OF 750 KVA X 3 NOS DG SETS FOR PROJECT ARITF AT LRDE UNDER GE I RND WEST BANGALORE

Supply, install, test and commission Diesel Engine Generating set 750 KVA, soundless / noiseless, water cooled diesel engine generating set (DG set) as per CPCB - IV (Plus) norms with latest amendments in and including control and instrumentation panel mounted on chanel iron base frame complete with fuel tank and batteries 12 Volts in acoustic enclosure panel with statndard accessories required for DG set and including platform made of PCC/RCC as per drawing of manufacturer all as comprising the following:- DIESEL ENGINE: Diesel engine as prime mover of DG set of appropriate capacity not less than suitable for 750 KVA alternator, liquid cooled multi cylinder fuel system with electronic governer, turbo charger, charge air cooler, dry type air cleaner shut off valve, fly wheel and fly wheel housing first fill of lub oil and coolant, safety for low lube oil pressure, safety for high water temparature, permissible over load of 10% of alternator rated capacity. Controller to provide and configurable time delay to start / remote start, signal and time to delay prior to shutdown after off signal etc., along with other feature control as per manufacturer.

ALTERNATOR: Alternator suitably rated at 750KVA at 0.8 PF, 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 wires, 50 cycles/sec, 1500 RPM, self excited and self regulated with brushless excitation, band of Voltage Regulation +/-1% of rated voltage, from no load to full load, insulation class "H". The alternator shall be provided with thermistor winding for proteciton against overheating. The alternator shall be supplied with automatic voltage regulator and PMG suitable for synchronization.

ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Acoustic encloser shall be made of 1.6mm thick CRCA sheets in suitable approved shed and a structural / sheet metal base frame painted in black. The walls of the enclosure are insulated with fire retardant foam so as to comply with the 75 dBA at 1 mtr sound levels specified by MOEF. The encloser shall have the following features :- Specially designed to meet stringent MOEF / CPCB norms of 75 dBA of 1 mtr at 75% load under free field conditions, two point lifting for easy handling at site, design to have optimum serviceability, air inlet louvers specially designed to operated load made on special purpose CNC machines for consistency in quality and workmanship, powder coated with UV resistant powder coating, use of special hardware, inuslation materials meets exacting IS-8183 specifications for better sound attenuations, flush styling no projections, fluid drain for lube oil and fuel, fuel filling point inside the enclosure. BASE FRAME: Sturdy, fabricated, welded construction, channel iron base frame for mounting the above Engine and Altenator, required number of anti vibration mounting pads.

Outcoming from the DG set (a) ACB 3 pole 3200 Amps EDO 50 KA, 415 volts microprocessor based self-powered protection unit, LCD and touch screen multi-colour display vertical orientation advance functions of over voltage and under voltage, under/over frequency each-01 No. (b) Digital multi-function meter with RS 485 port to measure A, V, KW, PF, CT operated, LT 3 phase 4 wire including CT's ratio 3200/5 Amps - 01 No. (c) LED indicating lamp RYB-01 Set. (d) Indicating lamp ON/OFF - 01 Set. (e) Neutral contactor 3 pole of appropriate rating-03 Nos. (f) Control MCB SP C curve 6 Amps 10 KA-As required. (g) DP MCB 6 Amps - As required. (h) TNC switch as per manufacturer - 01 Each.

Notes: 1. 3X750 KVA DG synchronising panel SLD to be submitted for approval of Accepting Officer. 2. Adopter box with suitable bus bar for each DG set incomer cost will be included in unit rate. 3. Cost of wiring form DG panel to synchronising panel for control deemed to be included in unit rate. 4. Cost of wiring from existing main PCC panel to synchronising panel deemed to be included in unit rate. 5. Adopter box with aluminium TPN bus bar of 3200 Amps for outgoing. 6. Any other parts required for functional/design points, its rate deemed to be included in unit rate.

Material and Labour for chemical earthing with copper earth plate 900mm X 600mm X 5mm thick including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metres long etc., in and including copper earth strip 32 x 6mm upto 7.5 metres length, chemicals as per site requirements by the earthing expert manufacturers as required to achieve earth resistance less than 1 ohm complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Copper strip beyond 7.5 metres shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing copper strip 32mm x 6mm drawn through GI pipe 50mm dia light grade for protection of earth strip for DG sets, panels and earthing grid purpose including connection with brass nut, bolt, spring, washer including excavation, re filling and removing of surplus soil, etc., as requried complete all as specified and as directed. Note: GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Supply, fabricate, fixing, testing and commissioning of exhaust pipe system suitable for 03 Nos DG sets of 750 KVA for routing to atmosphere from diesel engine, erection of silencer pipes of different sizes duly welding, jointing, primer and other painting etc., as required to complete exhaust system by incorporating undermentioned items, accessories specials, cladding, etc., as per drawing of DG set manufacturer conforming to latest CPCB norms complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Labour element for fabrication, fixing, testing and commissioning, etc., is included in the rate quoted by the contractor. (ii) MS ERW pipe and specials shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under relavant item of schedule.

Supply only bend of MS ERW class 'B' of size 200mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only glass wool of 50mm thick and aluminium sheet of 24 gauge for cladding the initial portion of exhaust pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only MS ERW pipe class 'B' of size 300mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only bend of MS ERW class 'B' of size 300mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only glass wool of 50mm thick and aluminium sheet of 24 gauge for cladding the exhaust routing pipe of atmosphere complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only glass wool of 50mm thick and aluminium sheet of 24 gauge for cladding the silencer of doubly type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Bellows of MS ERW class 'B' of size 300 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only 'Y' joint 8" x 12" of MS ERW class 'B' to connect the exhaust pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only glass wool of 50mm thick and aluminium sheet of 24 gauge for cladding the 'Y' joint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fabricate, fix, test and commission of MS fabrication works for self supporting structure for exhaust pipe system by using MS cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections inclduing nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete routing to atmosphere as per site conditions and requirements for 750 KVA X 3 Nos DG sets in and including PCC foundation works complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fix, test and commission of lightning arrestor - 01 No. and single LED aviation light fitting - 01 No. on top of the MS self supporting structure for exhaust pipe system as per recommendations fof DG set manufacturer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for sub main wiring with 2 runs of 4 sqmm single core copper conductor cable PVC insulated, unsheathed, multistranded FRLS type, 1100 V grade conforming to IS-694 drawn through in and including non metallic rigid PVC conduit not less than 25mm dia medium grade with conduit accessories concealed in walls / floors / ceiling etc., duly cutting chases / grooves and making good the disturbed surfaces to match with existing surfaces including 1 run of 4 sqmm single core copper conductor cable, PVC insulated, unsheathed, multistranded FRLS type, 1100V grade green in colour as earth continuity conductor and connecting to common earth dolly complete all as specified and directed. Note: 3 runs of 4 sqmm PVC copper cable in PVC conduit will measured and paid as one unit

M&L for copper earthing with copper earth plate 600mm X 600mm X 3mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to copper earth strip 25mm X 5mm by means of with copper nuts, bolts, spring washer, etc., and connected to equipment as directed, including funnel with wire mesh and watering pipe with GI pipe 20mm dia medium grade including charcoal and common salt in alternative layers all around the earth electrode of 15cm thickness compacted and concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1, 50mm thick pre cast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover slab reinforced with 8mm dia deformed bar 15 cmm c/c with suitable handle of 10mm dia round bar, GI pipe 40mm dia light grade for protection of copper earth strip including necessary excavation earth work in any type of soil including getting out and disposal of soil to a distance n exc 50m and necessary testing complete all as shown on electrical palte No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The cost of earth copper strip and GI protection pipe 40mm light grade upto 7.5 metres shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The test results of earthing should be less than 2 ohm. If earthing results exceeds 2 ohms the quoted frim shall do another earthing without claiming any extra amount from department.

M&L for copper strip 25mm X 5mm drawn through in and including GI pipe 40mm dia light grade from earth electrode inclduing connection with copper nuts, bolts, spring washers including excavation in any strata, returning / filling and removal of surplus soil etc., as required complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for fabricate, erection, testing and commissioning of external fuel tank system with 1 inch MS class C type - 60 RM conforming to IS : 1239 Part -I including plain flange one set gaskets, bolts, nuts, washers 4.6 grade considered for connection at every 6 metres of piping all as per site conditions and requirements for all 750 KVA X 3 Nos DG sets all as per DG set OEM recommendations complete all as specified and directed.

Suppy,fix and test ball valve set 25mm dia cast iron body with flanged end as per DG set OEM recommendations complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lay, join, test and commissioning LT cable of size 400 sqmm 3.5 core XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches / inside building duct / cable tray or outside building below ground, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth work shall be as applicable shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Excavation in trenches for laying of LT cables of any type / size in trenches of depth upto 1.2 metres in any soil including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 metres complet all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fill sand inside of the sub station ducts, cable trenches for cushioning of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay un reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1 flat of size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm factory made for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable tray of size 600mm x 50mm (ladder type) of thickness 2mm made out of galvanised iron in standard length and in any length as required at site and including all supports outdoor / indoor type as per DG set OEM recommendations complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) below / above ground level for road / plinth / floor / PCC, cutting including form work for cement concrete as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) below / above ground level for road / plinth / floor / PCC, cutting including form work for cement concrete as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lay and fix GI pipe of size 40mm dia light grade complete with GI fittings for protection of earth strip etc., as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lay and fix GI pipe of size 100mm dia light grade complete with GI fittings for protection of earth strip etc., as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

supply and fix end termination kit suitable for 3.5 core 400 sqmm XLPE cable 1100 volts with aluminium lugs and double compression gland complete all as specified and directed.
