Removing the accumulated silt with debris, wastes etc., from the bottom bed of the existing intercepting chamber and manhole of different size & depth from the floor level at various location including pumping out the water with 5 HP Pump if required using contractors materials, all leads, lifts, descent, labour, tools and plant, lifting devices, safety equipment, removing and reaffixing of manhole / IC covers incidental charges etc., complete by the contractor. Cleaning of sewer line in size varying from 100mm to 600mm dia at inlets and between manholes, duly removing all silt, garbage, debris etc., to ensure effective discharge without causing any damage to existing system with all leads, lifts, descent, labour, tools and plant, incidental charges etc., complete by the contractor. The entire cleaning operation of removing silt from manhole and cleaning underground sewer line is to be done only by mechanical method. The access to manholes and Intercepting Chambers and sewer line manually are strictly prohibited. Cleaning work required modern special equipment like Jetting cum suction machine, de-silting machine, sewer rods, silt traps, pneumatic plugs and safety equipment like Fresh air breathing apparatus with

breath mask, Air purifier gas mask/ chin cortege, Artificial respiration / Reticulate, Caution board, portable gas detectors, emergency oxygen respirator, Emergency medical oxygen resuscitator kit, First Aid Box, Gas Monitor(4 gases), Hand gloves, Head lamp, Helmet ,Life guard pad, road safety equipment, emergency lamp for effective sewer cleaning. Complete Area/ Zone is to be maintained by the Contractor necessary complaint to be attended immediately apart from that preventive maintenance to be carried out. Puducherry Town and fringes areas bounded and covered between Lal Bahadur Sasthiry street on North, Subbiah Salai on South, Ambour Salai on East and Botanical garden on west, Colas Nagar, Vambakeerapalalyam, Dubrayapet and adjoining areas covered/located in Uppalam Assembly Constituency.
