REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION PIPELINES AND RELATED WORKS AT JCOS ORS CIVILIAN MD ACCN AND OTM UNDER ZONE C AT NDA KHADAKWASLA

Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking out / laying of pipes and making bottom surfaces of excavation leveled.

Returning, filling in trenches with excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as directed.

Removing surplus soil / spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metres away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as directed.

Taking up or down 80/50/40 mm bore GI water tubing and connections of pipe and fittings including segregating of serviceable pipes and keeping in safe custody for reuse and removing unserviceable pipes and fittings from site complete all as directed. Note: Rate of Excavation, returning filling and removing of soil (Earth work) shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Ditto all as per item No 04 above but of size 15/20/25 mm.

S&F Galvanised water tubing 'Medium grade' 80 mm bore, with all fittings (Tee, Elbow, Nipple, Reducer, Union) clamps screws MS clamps, hooks complete on laying of pipe in ground/fixed on wall/floor/ceiling all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Rate for fitting like socket, elbow, union, tee, reducer etc including the quoted rates. (ii) Excavation, returning filling and removing of soil (Earth work) is measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.
