REPAIR TO CONCRETE WORK (PQC), EPOXY WORK, BITUMINOUS JOINT FILLING, PAINTING ETC AT 36 END AND ALLIED AREA OF RUNWAY AT 20 WING AF STN UNDER GE (AF) BAGDOGRA

Amount

Excavating over areas for soft / loose soil not exceeding 1.50m depth and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Spreading and levelling for earth in layers n. exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Rolling and consolidation formation surfaces in cutting using hand roller of capacity exc 0.20 tonne & N.exc 0.5 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for soling (or sub base) of spread thickness 200mm in two layers with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Each layer will be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for 100mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2, (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 25mm thick Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of PCC in ground floor and paving any thickness (below or above ground level) etc all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing polythene film 150 micron thick, black colour, laid over sand layer including all necessary cutting, overlaps not less than 300mm including wastage complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing and laying controlled (PQC) work of 350mm depth/thick in Runway/ taxi track using Cement with Hardening accelerator - Admixture ( Sika Rapid -1 @ of 2% of weight of cement) cement -413Kg, Sand 551.23 kg coarse aggregate 1299.58kg & water 165 Ltr/kg in per Cum, minimum field strength 45 Kg/Square centimetre, including necessary form work as required and bull nosing of edges, compacting curing and maintaining proper gradient and camber and finishing surfaces of concrete pavement by belting complete all as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Hardening accelerator Admixture compound will be measured and paid separately. 2. Soon after getting the operational /execution orders from the accepting Officers based on the user requirement, the material crater which has occurred due to bombing or any other reason at Runway and connected areas shall be filled with appropriate materials (which will be issued by Dept free of cost under sch 'B') complete all as directed within 08 hrs of notice by deploying sufficient labours and tools and plants whatsoever required at site viz JCB 01, concrete mixture machine 01, water boozer 5000Ltr capacity 01, Roller capacity 8 to 10 ton, weight batch 02, form work Needle vibrator -1, plate vibrator-1, shovel GS-10, Broom -02 trowel -3 Hammer 05 lbs-05, Gen Set 5 KVA 01, lighting arrangement etc all as directed. 3.The cost of form work shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply only Hardening accelerator admixture (Sika Rapid-1 or equivalent) all as specified and as directed.

Forming Construction joint/Dummy joint 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of brooming / belting for finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing old/broken/unserviceable runway and links sign boards of any description grouted/embedded portion from ground including disconnecting the electrical connections if any S&F powder coated aluminium frame and angle (40x40x2MM) both side printed translite with outer acrylic layer LED Modular lights with IC Module inside size 1MTS x 3MTS with M/S round pipe stand at the ends to be grouted on ground by excavating in any type of soil and providing PCC 1:2:4 , type B1(using 20mm graded stone aggregate) at one end and the other end should be fixed with sign board by providing nut and bolts systems with SS plate 2mm thick of 60mmx16mm size including required electrical connection one complete all as specified and directed:- board Size (1.0 m X 3.0m).

All as per item No 13 above, but board size (1.0m x 1.0m) and IC Module inside size 1m x 1m.

M&L for repair to concrete pavement broken edges, developed cracks as per site requirement by cutting out concrete with diamond saw cutter of concrete to square or rectangular shape with minimum 25mm wide & 20mm deep and cleaning off all loose or broken material to a distance exc 50m and nexc 100m, and cleaning the groove with broom and air compressor to get the groove free from dust grits etc and filling with epoxy resin mortar with quartz sand including form work where required after priming the surface as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. Note:-where the thickness is more than 5cms, epoxy resin mortar shall be applied in two layers.

M&L for preparation of old/new concrete / bituminous painted surface and applying one coat of water based road marking paint of white/yellow or orange shades as approved exc 10cm width or girth with rewriting letters, figures, symbols, lines etc with roller brush complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item no 16 above, but 2nd coat. (Note : Break between each coat should be exc 3 month and not exc 4 month).

M&L for preparation of old/new decorated concrete/bituminous surfaces of Runway/taxi track of any description and applying one coat of cement based paint with roller brush complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of grasses of shoulders/wing areas of runway and taxi track area with mechanical grass cutter suitable for runway area with cutting upto 50 to 150mm height of grasses and removing grasses outside tech area complete all as specified and as directed.

Uprooting the grasses from joints manually and removal of grasses to a distance not exc. 250 metre complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for racking out joints upto a depth of 25mm, saw cutting the vertical sides of joints for making edges of joints straight upto the possible extent by keeping maximum width of joint 10mm to 15mm, cleaning all loose particle/dust from the joints by using brushes, compressed air, blowers etc, fixing masking tape along either side of the joints, placing back up sheet 10mm to 12mm thick in position and filled with polyurethane based sealing compound (pitch free) having 3mm recess from top of joint after applying suitable primer as per manufacturer's instruction and directed at site at 36 end. complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 21 above, but width of joint 16mm to 25mm.

All as per item No 21 above, but width of joint 26mm to 35mm.

NOTES :- 1. The amount of schedule of credit shall be deducted from the total of this BOQ for arriving at contract sum. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule A notes for details.
