Scarifying gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface (by power) (a). Top bituminous surface dressing of premix carpet.
Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means i/c loading in truck for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with all lifts and lead upto 1000 m.
Providing, laying and compacting granular base/ sub-base according to lines ,grades and cross-sections by using naturally occurred sand gravel/conforming to IRC Grade -II of M.O.S.T. specification free from organic ore other deleterious constituent spreading with motor grader and compacted by rolling with power roller of 8 - 10 tonnes capacity in layers not exceeding 150mm (spread thickness) i/c rolling of the road surface to proper level and grades 30 cm width edging on both side etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggragate to wet mix macadam specifications including premixing the material with water to OMC in mechanical mix (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well power vibratory - roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding, barricating and maintenance of diversion etc.
Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 40 -60 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 35 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compation Bitumen @ 4% i). For Grading II (19 mm nominal size) A). Using Bitumen 30/40 (VG 40).
Providing and laying bituminous concrete 30 mm thick with 60-80 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 35 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.5 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects. ii). Grading -II 13 mm (Nominal Size) A). Using Bitumen 30/40 (VG-40).
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using mechanical means on WBM /WMM surface at the rate of 0.70 - 1.00 kg/sqm.
Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom (i). On granular surface pre-treated with primer coat @ 0.25 - 0.30 kg/sqm.
Reinforced cement concrete M15 kilometre stone of standard design fixed in position including painting and printing letters etc.

Providing and fixing retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing.

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting , 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing.
Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound with reflectorising glass beads on bituminous surface - P/L of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick i/c reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC :35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.
Construction of Drain
Earthwork in excavation in foundation trenches or drains and chennel not exceeding 2 m in depth including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation including disposal of surplus soil as directed within a lead of 50 metres.
Cement concrete 1:4:8 mix with stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size in foundation upto a depth of 1.5 metres below ground/bed level and upto height of 1.5 m above ground/bed level.
Cement concrete 1:3:6 mix with screened shingle 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed and vibrated in foundation upto a depth of 1.5 m below ground level and 1.5 m above ground/bed level i/c formwork.
Earth filling with surplus soil excavated from foundation and taken only outside of building plinth 15 cm layers i/c ramming watering and consolidation lead upto 30 m (i). Ordinary soil.
Const. of RCC Slab Culvert 1.0 m span - 4 Nos & 1.5 m span RCC Slab Culvert.
