Using TMT bars of Fe-500D grade of all sizes .TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor shall conform to IS – 1786 (Latest edition) and BARC specification Notes: 1) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also testing third party from approved laboratories without any extra cost. 2) Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment. 3) Cover blocks shall be of same grade of concrete.
Providing Structural steel work in M.S Plain Plates and Chequrred Plates for Embedded Parts, Trench Covers, Connection plates etc.including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer etc.including cost of structural steel Plates, welding all labour charges etc. complete as per drawings and specifications. Providing, supplying "JCB" loader cum excavator including operator and helper executing the work like excavation, grading, levelling, debris cleaning and other works at various location inside BARC,Trombay, Mumbai all as directed by Engineer In-charge as and when required. Notes: 1. The rate shall be inclusive of Machine, Fuel, Operator, Driver, Helper and other consumables etc. The contractor is required to engage skilled driver/ Operator possessing valid driving license (Preferably professional). 2. The vehicle should be roadworthy with all valid documents. 3. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 4. The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, fuel etc. , wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, Comprehensive insurance etc. shall be payable by contractor and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. 5. The rates arc inclusive of all taxes if any excluding Goods & Service taxes (GST). 6. ln and exit time at North gate/south gate of BARC shall be strictly considered for billing/ measurements/ payments. Log book duly countersigned by Engineer ln-Charge to be maintained. 7. Breakdown hours and lunch break timing shall not be considered for the payments. 8. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour al time of preparing the bill. 9. BARC being a strategic Organization, all the operators/drivers should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification Certificate, Driving licenses and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi/ English 10. Cost of damages to any Government movable/ immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the contractor. 11. Required number of Manpower shall be provided as per the instructions/ Duty slip. In case of short supply of labourers, an amount of Rs.976/- per labour per manday will be deducted from the bill as per rule. 12. The contractor shall follow all security rules & regulations of BARC issued from time to time and no claim, whatsoever, will be entertained in this regard. 13. The driver and the labourers shall work as per the instructions given by the departmental Officers. 14. Advance intimation will be given to the contractor about the requirement. 15. The JCB along with laboureres shall report at North Gate, BARC at 08:30 Hrs. 16. The normal working duty of the JCB will be 8 (Eight) hours excluding 30(Thirty) minutes of lunch break. Work done for more than 8 (Eight) hours will be calculated on pro-rata basis for each shift. 17. The contractor shall lake the signature of the departmental authorities on duly completion slip daily after completion of the work. 18. The successful contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident/ injury caused to contractor persons while executing the job. 19. The Contractor shall have to comply minimum wages as recommended by ‘Office of the Chief Labour Commissioner (C), New Delhi’ as well as ‘Office of Labour Commissioner (Maharashtra State Government)’ time to time, whichever is higher.
Supplying of Unskilled manpower/ labour for loading/ unloading, area cleaning and misc works etc including cost of equipment whichever is required
Providing and applying / injecting general purpose, high flow, Class A, non-shrink grout having high flowability through voids, bottom of base plate, tie rod hole and/or gap of min. 10 mm up to 100 mm, by mixing potable water, in a controlled manner by forced-action mixer, in the range of min. 2.9kg to max. 4.1kg per 20 kg bag of grout depending on the required consistency including cost of materials, labour, equipment, tools & tackles and consumables etc. all as per manufacturer's specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Technical parameters: (i) Compressive strength (as per AS 1478.2) in the range of min. 60 MPa to 75 MPa at 28 days depending upon consistency of the grout mix. (ii) Flexural strength (as per AS 1012.11) min. 13 MPa at 28 days, (iii) Indirect tensile strength (as per AS 1012.10) min. 6 MPa at 28 days, (iv) setting time (as per AS 1012.18) - Initial Setting Time min. 5.5 hours and Final Setting Time max. 7.5 hours (v) Flow characteristics (as per AS 1478.2): 400-600mm (Flow Trough) and 25-30 seconds(Flow cone). Rate will be inclusive of mixing, pouring, curing as per manufacturer's specification, including scaffolding, complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and Fixing 12 mm x 131 mm Anchor Fastner of approved make including drilling in concrete as per requirement for fixing EPs or other structures all as specified by the manufacturer complete all as per specifications and drawings
Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of form work fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Technician having minimum SSC with Trade certificate in Masonary/Plumber/Carpenter/Painter Trade of not less than one year duration from ITI/Government Recognised Vocational Training Institute or experienced Technician retired from Government service. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Technician for each job as Single Day work for 6 working days per week for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the Technician will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per day as directed by Engineer-in -Charge. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis per day. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Technician exclusively for the particular job. (5) The Technician should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Technician will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of technician is 1 (One) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1206/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.
Providing & supplying of Pick-up Van / Utility Van for various areas for the requirements arising from time to time inside and outside BARC. The Pick-up Van / Utility Van of minimum five seaters capacity with the back side provision for transporting/ shifting of various construction / maintenance materials, machinaries and tools etc. and for other works including Driver as assigned and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (8Hrs. a day or 60 km max as per certification of Engineer-in-Charge). Conditions: 1. The above rates shall be inclusive of cost of supply of Pick-up Van / Utility Van, Fuel, wages of Drivers and other consumables etc. 2. The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. In case the pick up van is parked inside BARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment. 4. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills 6. BARC being a restricted place, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification / Clearance Certificate (PVC), driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should not be more than 8 years old, roadworthy with all valid documents. 8. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically for safe and incident-free driving. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision shall be final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be a transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board "ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance and servicing of vehicle including replacement of parts, payment to the driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability on these accounts. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 14. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 15. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. 16. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 17. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a compensation of Rs. 3000 /- per week, for not providing the service, will be levied on the contractor for that week

Note : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder Civil Engineer with 2 (Two) years experience or Diploma holder with 5 (Five) years experience (Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology) conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University / Autonomous Govt. / Govt. recognized recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the Engineer will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per month as per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Engineer exclusively for the particular job. (5) Engineer should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Engineer will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1579/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.
Pumping out water caused springs, tidal or river seepage, broken water mains or drains and the like, Lake, River, Pond etc.
Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer In Charge.
