Mechanized Cleaning And Disinfection of OHT with Six (6) Stages possess Mechanical Dewatering, Distillery and remove of left Over dirty water sludge, Clean the wall, roof and floor from 10000 glns to 2 lacs gallons capacity upto 45 mtr stagging with the following stages :- STAGE - I Mechanized Dewatering - Mechanized Dewatering should be done by submersible dewatering pump having , suitable outlet and discharge and control panel. The details of motor cable, seal , material of construction and control panel should be furnished. STAGE – II Sludge Removal – Desilting and removal of left over dirty Water sludge with a sludge removal pump. .

STAGE – III High Pressure Cleaning – Cleaning of wall , ceiling , and floor by high pressure of 80-180 bars. Cleaning should be done by high pressure cleaner with following specification Fully automatic controlled, auto start –slop, imported high pressure cleaning machined having F-Class insulation protection. The heavy duty machined should be operated by HPC operator, on Continuous duty in variable fully adjustable mode from working presser of 100-180 bars. The machine should have imported twin steel core protection rubber high pressure hose to safety. With stand operating pressure of 250 bar, and Two cleaning lances, one with rotary jet and the second one , a flat jet for effective Drinking Water Tank Operation. STAGE – IV Vacuum Cleaning – Removal of remaining sludge from the floor with the help of industrial vacuum cleaner . (A) Removal of remaining sludge with the help of imported heavy duty industrial vacuum cleaner and sludge sucker having maximum power of 1200 watt, with suitable heavy duty motor. (B) Imported sludge sucker should be a part of the high pressure system which sucks sludge and through the same out of the tank , his must handle solid particles as well.

STAGE – V Anti- Bacterial Spry – Spring of non- toxic- biodigrable, ecofriendly anti-bacterial agent to disinfect the tank from all harmful pathogens. The dose utilized should be safe as per WHO guideline. STAGE – VI UV Radiator – Treatment of inside of tank by exposing UV radiator to kill further suspended or floating bacteria if any- Treatment of inside tank be done by exposing UV radiation by imported heavy duty UV radiator. The radiator should be designed in away to ensure 360 degrees of sterilization and should have suitable lamps for effective sterilization for a period of 8000 working hours, the radiator must be totally portable and effective for final sterilization of drinking water tanks for elimination of floating and suspended bacteria. Notes :- (i) Contractor must clean and disinfect the water storage tank within 24 hours after giving the site by Engr-in-Charge to avoid the inconvenice for distribution of water supply to the connected area. (ii) In case of any accident during the work in progress the contractor will be fully responsible to give necessary medical aids and also compensate to worker under compensation act 1923.

(iii) No extra payment will be made for transportation of any machinaries required for cleaning and disinfecton the storage tank. (iv) Contractor must arrange the videography during the work in progress and submit the CD in 2 copies to ENGR-in-Charge without any extra payment. (v) Contractor must write the date of cleaning and capacity of tank at the wall of the storage tank in size of 2 ft x 2 ft base prepared by enamel paint. Base should be in light blue colour and letters should be white colour without extra payment. (vi) While execution the work contractor must have all safety equipment and follow all safety parameter at site. (vii)The bidder is advised to visit the site of work by making prior appointment with EIC. The bidder shall be deemed to have full knowledge of all relevant documents, samples, site etc. whether he has inspected them or not.

M&L Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete fixed on the middle top of OHT on the four insulator frame made out of flat copper earthing strip of size 25mmx4 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Aluminium strip 25mm x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground fixed with porcelene insulator at the interval of 1 mtr complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Earthing complete with galvanized steel plate elecrode of size 60 cm x 60cm and 6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.5 mtr below the ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level. Earth plate surrounded by 15mm thick packed alternative layers of charcoal dust and comman salt, earth lead GI strip 25mm x 4 mm by means of bolts , nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron with thimbles. The other end of GI earth wire is connected to main switch board and protected by light grade GI pipe of 15 mm bore. provision of 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh. Pipe shall be provided vertically upto top level of earth pit and then taken horrizontally to the earth pit. Cement concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate).The chamber shall be constructed one metre away from edge of earth pit. 50 mm thick pre cast cover of cement conrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), excavation in soft / loose soil, returning filling and removal of surplus soil to a distance of 50 mm complete all as specified and directed and shown in Electrical Plate No- 3 of SSR Part-1 (2009) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying Two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10sqm over prepared surfaces including complete removal of existing treatment all as per below mentioned stages for complete exterior including all walls, all columns, beams, stairs, ceilings, parapets, top roof etc for 2.00 lakh Gallon capacity Overhead tanks:- (i) Complete removal of existing treatment: The surfaces shall be cleaned to remove loose dirt or dust, lichen, algae, fungi or any organic growth by use of stiff brush. Then the surface is washed well and allow water to dry. All cracks, voids and minor damages shall be patched/repaired with white cement putty or with Plaster of Paris, prior to application of paint.In case of old surfaces where excessive fungal/algal growth is observed the surface should be bio washed as per manufacturers instructions. Allow the surface to dry before it is ready for painting.

Protective Coating (External) : M&L for providing and applying Dekground E2000 manufactured by Fosroc Chemicals India Pvt Ltd or equivalent and applied by authorised applicator Total anticarbonation system comprises of a silane siloxane based penetrating primer (Dekguard primer WB) and elastomeric pigemented coating (dekguard E2000). Deckguard E2000 is a single component elastomeric, anticarbonation, liphatic acrylic protective coating, or equivalent as approved by GE Minimum recommended rate of application is 1.5m2/lit (including wastage) to achieve a total DFT of 200-300 microns on external side of 1 lakh gallon OHT fulfilling functional parameters of following:- (a) Static crack spanning capability @200 microns dft @23°C : 2mm as per ASTM C836-76. (b) Solar reflective index (white colour) 105% as per ASTM E1980-11 (c) Adhesion greater than 1.0N/mm² as per BS 1881. (d) CO2 diffusion resistane not less than 240 mm equivalent of air thickness and 60cm equivalent of 30N concrete (Taywood method, at 309 microns dft) System includes surface preprtion and application as per Fosroc methodology or equivalent as approved by GE. (ii) The bidder is advised to visit the site of work by making prior appointment with EIC. M&L Excavating in post holes on the top of over head (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as speciified and directed.

M&L railing all around the top of OHTs complete with bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, etc in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed.
