Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m deep and not exceeding 1.5m wide and getting out in hard / dense soil for laying cable, pipes, pole foundation etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m deep and getting out in hard / dense soil for pole foundation etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick and filling to punned thickness, the approved riddled earth obtained from excavation complete all as specified and directed.

Removing the excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting, trimming and pruning of trees / tree branches of any girth upto 4m all around existing LT/HT over head lines including cleaning the disturbed area beneath the LT/HT overhead lines and removing the tree / tree branches and debris from site and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) All the LT/HT over head line shall be kept clean through out the contract period by repeatedly cutting trimming of trees as and when grows and as required and directed by Engineer-in-Charge depending on the growth of the tree . However measurement shall be measured and paid only once during entire contract period, contractor shall quote his rate accordingly. (b) Approximate span between poles shall be 45 to 60m.

Taking down old serviceable conductors of any description and re-stringing / tightening of ACSR conductor (squirrel / weasel / ferret) / GI earth continuity conductor / cradle up to the permissible sag limit between any span length and binding with new binding wire of the same materiel to insulators all as specified and as directed. NOTE:Approximate span between poles shall be 45m to 60m.

S&F ACSR conductor of any size including binding on existing LT/ HT poles or new poles with 02mm dia aluminium binding wire including jumper all as specified and directed including Dismantling old and unserviceable copper / ACSR conductor of any size / including disconnecting from the poles.

Supply, fabricating and fix mild steel cross arms (any type) supports, bracing, stiffner etc made out of MS channel, angle iron , flat iron of any size including drilling of holes, making clamps, eye hooks, nuts, bolts and washers etc including necessary welding if required and painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for stay assembly complete with all accessories as shown in Electrical plate No. 1 of SSR Part-I all as specified and as directed including GI stay rod 16 mm dia 2150 mm long, MS stay plate of size 230 x 230 mmX 6mm thick GI stay bow including necessary bolts & nuts etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation, foundation concrete, stay wire, clamps and loop insulator shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for galvanised stay strand 7 / 3.15mm complete all as specified and directed.

The quoted rate shall be inclusive of necessary earth work and PCC chamber with cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 complete all as specified and directed. Cutting and removing the vegetation growth and surface dressing all around the installation yard including 4/2 pole structure area and to keep the installation area (external only) clean and tidy. Cutting the existing bituminous macadam surfaces to a depth of 75 mm and width not exc. 45cm with suitable mechanical cutter and making good the disturbed surfaces with new bituminous macadam for road crossing cable with GI Pipe protection etc all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for hardcore of gauge n. exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n. exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour in replacement of cradles, hexagonal / rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2 mm thick for voltage upto 3.3 kv for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superceding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m all as specified and directed.

Manufacturing, supply and fix in repair Etroreflective name board, made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet,of size area exc 1 sqm but not exceding 2 sqm, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retroreflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTMD-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge,letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of stainless steel frame with two vertical stainless steel post of 50mm dia (length of post upto 3.00m incl embedded concrete portion) embedded in concrete of size 0.45x0.45x0.45m, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners,lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for servicing to indoor / outdoor LT panel board installed at AFS Tambaram, opening up all cubical doors, cleaning with air blower, removing the burnt out unserviceable instruments, wiring kit, and burnt out unserviceable extented terminals / copper cable and replacing with new extented terminal bus bar with suitable size along with required nut bolt, washers, and replacing the measuring instruments like Ammeter with existing size of the CT, Volt meter, indicating lamps of LED type 'R Y B' cleaning with CTC to serviceable parts like MCCB's, all terminals, replacement of damaged aluminum lugs any description of LT U/G cables in coming and out going, welding of broken door with suitable hinges, replacement of deterioated copper wiring with suitable copper conductor with circuit indicator replacement of sheared rubber beadings to door of panels, including preparing the existing surface for spray painting to powder coated surface with two coat of synthetic enameled paint of approved colour, marking of incoming and out going feeder with fluorescent stickers incl preparation of the surface of panel complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down the unserviceable any defective street / security light / flood light fitting / High mast light / LED of any type, make and wattage from the pole alongwith fixing arrangements complete, upto 400 watt capacity from any height of pole or building, servicing, cleaning thoroughly the fitting including bracket, arm and pole fixing arrangement, supply and replace the minor spares such as PVC insulated copper wire with in the fittings, screws, bolts, nuts washers required to make the fitting serviceable and refixing in position and testing for satisfactory functioning. Note:(a) Major spare for LED / HPSV / MH / CFL light fittings such as driver / lamps / choke / ignitor etc., required for making fitting serviceable shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (b) Quoted rate shall be inclusive for minor spares such as lamp holder, pvc copper cable for wiring with in the fitting, necessary srews, bolts, nuts, washers etc., and any other items required for making fitting serviceable. (c) Tools and plant,vehicle with necessary ladder arrangements etc., required for taking down and refixing the fitting shall be arranged. (d) Contractor shall depute his representative once in week or as and when demanded by Engineer-in-Charge to carry out joint inspection for checking / functioning of street / security lights in the entire area covered under contract to ascertain the serviceability and working condition of perimeter lights and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rate.The rate quoted is also deemed to include for cleaning of vegetation around the LT pole. (e) Contractor shall depute one electrician and two helpers on all working days for receiving and attending complaints regarding the street light at MES complaint cell and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fix GI brackets made out of GI pipe 40mm bore,1.5m long, bent to shape required including necessary MS clamps, nuts, bolts etc., required for fixing street light fitting on top of the poles and taking down the existing GI brackets complete all as specified and directed
