SPECIAL REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT OF VARIOUS OLD CEMENTED POLES INTO GI OCTAGONAL POLES OF MD ACCN, OTM ACCN AT CALEB VIHAR, AVN AND JHANSI CANTT UNDER GE JHANSI

Supply and erection of Hot dip galvanized tapered octagonal pole of height 7.0 mtrs in single or double section having top dia 70mm and bottom dia 130mm made up of 3mm thick sheet and welded with a base plate of size 220mm x 220mm x 12mm thick and provided with 1000mm long single arm bracket with 15 degree of angle 01 Nos for mounting street light fitting complete with provision of 04 Nos of ‘J’ type foundation bolts of size not less than 20mm dia, 600mm long embedded in RCC foundation concrete as per manufacturer’s recommendation including necessary earth work, RFR etc complete. A door should be provided at a height of 500mm from the base plate for accommodating and including provision of TPN aluminium bus bar system suitable for connecting up to 4 core, 16 sqmm aluminium cable and 01 No. of 6A SP MCB for street light protection inside the pole shaft including provision of 3 core, 1.50 sqmm PVC insulated PVC sheathed copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade confirming to IS:694 from pole junction box to street light fitting drawn through inside of pole . Radium reflector band / strips of 5cm wide in Green (02 Nos) & White (01 No.) colour shall be provided at a height of 1.25mtr from base plate. Numbering of pole shall be done in black colour on yellow background at suitable place on the pole complete as specified and directed. Note: The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of RCC foundation concrete, necessary excavation, earth work & RFR etc complete as per manufacturer's recommendation. Contractor shall submit the pole drawing and foundation drawing as per manufacturer's recommendation for approval of GE before procurement.

Supply and fixing in replacement of 60 Watt Energy saving long life LED sensor based auto dimmable(110 Lm/W) street light fitting made up of Pressure die-cast aluminium alloy housing with toughened glass, IP66 protection and impact resistance of IK07 and individual high power LEDs with secondary optics having system lumen efficacy ≥110 lm/W, Inbuilt potted electronic LED driver with APFC (SMPS based constant current supply), lower THD, Open Circuit protection, Over Voltage protection, Surge Voltage protection & other safety test as per IS 15885 Part-2/Sec 13 and BIS complying including taking down existing unserviceable street light fitting of any description from any position for taking credit complete all as specified and directed.

Supply , laying and testing cable XLPE insulated , screened, PVC Bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with standard aluminium conductor of size 16 sq mm 4 core complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth and getting in loose/soft soil for laying of cables complete all as specified and directed By Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, levelling, watering well ramming layers not exceeding 25mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for laying Double wall corrugated HDPE pipe, ISI marked of outer dia 50mm, inner dia 38mm with smooth internal and profiled external surface, non-pressure type, in trenches/floors/duct or fixed on walls /pole including all connections, accessories like socket, couplers, bends, etc for protection of LT cable XLPE grade 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level connecting to GI strip wire 4 mm dia as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel and earth wire protected by 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade and connected to pole structure/panel board/earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The unit rate quoted shall also include for excavation, earth work in any type of soil, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix, type C1 in pit, 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 mix type B1 cover slab reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm C/C both ways, GI funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh, protection pipe, earth strip up to 7.50m long complete in addition to item No 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub heading earthing, specified in SSR Part II.
