AUGMENTATION OF ESSENTIAL SERVICES TO ILP BEING CONSTRUCTED UNDER PARA 35 OF DWP-2020 AT OTA GAYA (OVERHEAD TANK OF 50000 GALLON CAPACITY AND ALLIED ITEMS)

SCHEDULE "A"

Sch 'A' Part-I (Bulding Works/ Construction of OHT 50000 Gallon) Lump sum price worked out by the contractor for 'RCC OVERHEAD TANK' as listed in Schedule 'A' Part-I against the lump sum price inserted by the MES.

Sch 'A' Part-II (Misc items of B&R and E&M (to be quoted by the tenderer in BOQ)) (Item No 01 to 11) Building Works Item No 01: Supply & Fixing cast iron sluice valve, SS spindle 150 mm bore, flanged ends PN-1.6 ISI marked as per IS:14846/2000 ,spindel-ss is;6603 gland packing, greasy jute packing fasteners-cs is:1367, cl-4.6/4.0 gasket natural rubber and CI operating wheel including gasket, nuts, bolts and washers complete all as directed.

Item No 02: M & L for constrution of brick masonry valves pits of the following internal dimension, one brick thick wall in cement mortar 1:4 on 100 mm Thick PCC 1:4:8 in foundation, rendering 15 mm thick internally and externally upto 150mm below ground level complete with 3.15mm thick MS Sheet cover angle iron frame welded with 40x5 mm flat iron frame including provision of hinges, Handle and locking arrangmentss and 40x40x6 mm angle frame fixed on top of valve chamber by means of hold fast 150 mm long, embedded in PCC 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) block of size 230x200x100 mm, applying two coasts of anti corrosive paint over coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer after preparation of all exposed to steel surfaces including neccessary earth work in soft/ loose soil complete all as directed. (a) 1500mm x 1500mm x 1200 mm

Item No 03 : Supply fix & testing of cast iron150 mm both end flanged,class 'B' for water distribution header header, including jointing materials such asrubber fibre board packingring& nut bolt and washer of suitable size complete all as directed.

Item No 04 : M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of copper strip 20x3mm fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. with insulators as required complete all as directed.

Item No 05 : M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600x600x3.15 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal GL and connected to earth plate . Earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal/coke and common salt upto 0.90 meter depth all around the earth plate and connected to copper strip of size 20 mm x 3 mm copper strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to equipments/panels and protected by galvanized iron or steel pipe medium grade 40 mm bore and water pipe 20 mm bore GI light grade with funnel and wire mesh, including all necessary excavation and earth work PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover and all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Pt I of 2009 and also including making test point for testing of earthing complete all as directed. Note : 1. RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-I , 50mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4 KG/sqmm in lieu of CI cover. 2. Charcoal/coke and common salt upto 0.90 meter depth shall be filled in layers of 15 centimeters all around the earth plate. 3. On testing after completion of earthing if desired earth resistance is not achieved , the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to obtain the desired earth values.

Item No 06: Supply and fix MS flanged pipe 150mm NB heavy duty,confirming is-1239 part-Iwith fitting required to connect existing header of pumps duly painted with 02 coat of synthetic enemel black paint over red oxide primer, including nut,bolts,washer,and rubber packing as required and complete all as directed.

Item No 07 : Supply and fix Aviation Obstruction LED light 2 x 9 Watt with pressed aluminium base and polycarbonate Cover with driver ,including mounting arrangements on oht complete all as directed.

Item No 08 : Supply and fix Float and board level water level indicator suitable for 50000 gallon over head tank having 10 levels,suitable for 20 mtr height tank,float stainless steel material etc complete all as directed.
