Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil including removing green vegetation, roots, bushes etc. from surrounding of LT feeder Boards/ Poles/ sub stations etc. Complete all as specified and directed

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of pipe, cable, foundation of electric pole etc and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified.

All as per item No. 02 above but exceeding more than 1.5 m and n.exc 3.0m in depth complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for sand cushioning (dry sand) to underground cable for cable protection 23 cm thick in two layers (8 cm thick before laying of cables and 15 cm thick after laying the cable and punning down the sand to 18 cm thickness.). Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Only punned thickness 18 cm of sand shall be measured for payment purposes).

Material & Labour for Un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV, type 1, flat, size 250 mm X 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old defective cable and Supply, laying, commissioning and testing or passing through pipe, XLPE insulated armoured electric power UG cable (Heavy Duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade in duct / trenches for small length for extension / replacement of the defective cable of nominal cross sectional area 10 Sqmm 4.0 core including brass compression cable gland, terminal aluminium lugs etc making connection and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Pipes and Un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover for protection, mild steel clamp nut and bolts, sand cushioning and Earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Refixing and laying, commissioning and testing or passing through pipe, XLPE insulated armoured electric power UG cable (Heavy Duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade in duct / trenches for small length for extension / replacement of the defective cable of nominal cross sectional area 10 Sqmm 4.0 core including brass compression cable gland, terminal aluminium lugs etc making connection and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Old servicable cable of any size obtained from Sr Item No 8 to 16 shall be reused. (ii) Pipes and Un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover for protection, mild steel clamp nut and bolts, sand cushioning and Earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and erecting in replacement LT steel tubular swaged pole 9 Mtrs long complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts,nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-31 with relevant IS and painting the pole upto 5 feet from ground level with black and yellow alternate strip of 30 CM each with synthetic enamel paint including removing of broken/ unservicabe pole all as specified and directed. Note : (i) After erection of new poles contractor would be liable to shift and connect all the ACSR conductors to the new poles including insulators and cross arms etc. without any extra cost to the Department. (ii) Earth work, PCC shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply and fix in repair loop type insulators porclain shackle type vitreous white, brown or green of size 65mm x 90mm overall dimension and 20 mm clearance hole complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair Shackle type porcelain vitreous, white brown or green insulator for working pressure 1.1 kv of size 100 mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of section 38 x5 mm size, 20 mm dia bolt nut and washers complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for in repair Cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections incl nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of super enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Stay assembly in replacement with accessories as shown on electrical plate No 1 of SSR Part-I, 2009, complete all as specified and as directed.. NOTE: Stay Wire, loop type Insulator, stay clamps, earthwork and concrete shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply and fix in replacement of stay wire galvanised iron stranded of size 7/3.15 mm, length of stay wire not exceeding 11 mtrs with each stay and fixed to stay and pole including tightening complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of ACSR conductor Weasel to dog (6/1/2.59) to be drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including stringing, stretching, binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag ,jointing jumpers,etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for streching and tightning of existing ACSR conductor any size on LT pole 9 mtr long all as specified (One span consists of conductors and cradle guard) including replacement of J hooks complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of galvanised iron steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia including tightening and restringing existing loose/ broken continous GI wire 4mm dia on existing LT over head lines including stringing all as required at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of galvanised iron strip 32x6mm as earth continutiy lead beyond test point fixed to wall on batten or recess or chase or buried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe or required at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for Painting to existing PCC pole of any type with Black and yellow synthetic enamel paint over existing paint up to 1.5 m height from bottom alternatively strips 30 cm each including painting of ,clamps, nut, bolts with aluminum paint including providing pole number with white enamel paint and 100 mm dia (round) background of blue enamel paint at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Paint to existing steel tubular pole of any type with two coat of synthetic enamel paint from bottom to top of the pole inculding black and yellow paint upto 1.5 Mtr height from bottom alernaterely strip 30 cm each including providing pole number with white enamel paint and 100 mm dia (round) background of blue enamel paint at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Painting to existing LT panel board of any type with two coats of weather proof synthetic enamel spray paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preperation of the surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair LT spacer 02 way spiral type made out of PVC material and suitable to work on 1100 volts fixed between 02 conductors in any position along the LT line for any size of conductor along the feeder complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Denson,Modern,

Repair to LT panel box/body by repalcing the damaged/rusted MS sheet of existing gauge fabricated cut to size of original length incl providing hinges and other hard ware item like handless etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for making locking provision to the LT panel board of any size/type by providing MS flat iron 25x6 mm up to lengh 15cm duly welded to the both front and back door duly holed for making provision for lock including welding of brocken/unserviceable hinges/mounting arrangements of doors and matching with enamel paint of existing colour on the disturbed surfaces and providing pad lock not less than 75mm with triplicate key complete all as specified and as directed. Supply and fixing in repair street light sintex box of size 300 mm x 200 mm x 105 mm, made out of FRP sheet with weather proof hinged door including self locking arrangement, out door type weather and vermin proof complete comprising of insulated / high quality PVC sleeves aluminium bus bar of capacity 63 Amps 04 Nos (three phase RBY and black for neutral) with and including 6 Amps MCB single pole, single phase 230 volts, including 25 x 3 mm flat iron mounted on insulators, having arrangement of connecting incoming and outgoing cables complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair PVC insulated round/flat copper cable of size 3 core, 1.5 Sqmm for connection of LED lights from FRP junction box to street light fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fix in replacement of Brackets 1.2m long made to shape fabricated out of GI pipe lighjt grade (ISI marked) 40mm dia including provision of socket/nipple welded at one end to suit the light fitting and fixed to pole in and including all cutting drilling and welding etc fixed to poles by means of two sets of clamps made out of 40x6mm MS flat and 6 Nos nuts/bolts of size 75mm long 15mm dia and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified.

Labour and material for taking out of loop from LT panels, LT poles and from transformers, taking out old burnt, unserviceable thimbles, peeled of PVC sheathing, refresh these by removing torn out PVC sheathing and unserviceable lugs from existing cable mounted on pole/wall/panels, reconnect them in their original position by new suitable aluminium lugs and by LT insulation tape complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note:- 1. Complete labour and necessary tools are of contractor's own arrangement. Contractor shall be liable for complete job within a stipulated time. 2. Necessary excavation, returning filling, removing, cable cover, aluminium lugs and insulatioin tapes are inclusive in this item rate.

Material & Labour for Periodical cutting of trees/trimming of branches along the HT/LT overhead lines in a girth of 03 mtrs on either side of the conductors including removing the same and dumping where directed compete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Expenditure for necessary tool and plants required for Periodical cutting of trees/trimming of branches along the HT /LT overhead lines are deemed to be included in rate quoted by the contractor. Note : (i) Contractor will arrange the security boards/danger boards (Men at Work) at the site so that prevent from any accident. (ii) Contractor will be liable to cut/trimming the branches within the day after receipt of complaint received.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trench-less technology using ultrasound technique and necessary machine suitable to pass through 40 to 80 mm bore GI tubing and cable etc complete all as specified and as directed.
