Manpower for checking of earthing resistance value and identifying any defects in the existing earthings such as broken earth pit, cover, wire mess, funnel, requirement of test point, insulators, etc. and maintaining record and informing the same for necessary rectification and re-checking the earthing resistance value after rectification complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The qouted rate shall be deemed to be included for necessary tools, equipments, stationary, etc.

Excavating in trenches not exc. 1.50m in depth, over areas and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches depth for each additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5m, over areas and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 250mm in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50m above the starting point of soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 40mm dia galvanised iron pipe with all fittings, 'medium grade', for mechanical protection of earth strip, etc. including taking down unserviceable steel tubing of any grade with connections and removal to Store complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No. 6 here-in-before but 32mm dia galvanised iron pipe.

S&F 20mm bore galvanised Iron watering pipe "medium grade", with all fittings including taking down old existing unserviceable steel tubing with connections including re-fixing or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 32 x 6mm galvanised steel strip of complete with insulators and fixing with screws for fixing the strip on wall / roof including taking down old unserviceable strip in any position and situation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 25mm x 3mm aluminium strip as earth continuity conductor fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing, etc. including taking down old unserviceable strip in any position and situation complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing PCC pit in plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and RCC cover of size 450x450x50mm in RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with and including 8.0mm dia TMT bars @ 100mm centre to centre both ways including demolation and removing broken RCC cover in existing at site complete all as specified and as directed

S&F as in repairs galvanised iron plate of size 600x600x6mm after taking out old unserviceable GI plate and re-fixing the same at orginal position complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Rate of exavation, returing filling and removing, etc. shall be measured and paid saperately.

M&L for chemical earthing electrode advance encapsulated compound based CPRI tested maintanance free pipe-in-pipe technology upgraded (Zinc & Alloy Coated), zinc coated (80-100) microns with pure zinc (99.9%) and alloy coating (200-250) microns, earthing system confirming IS 3034. The outer and inner pipe should be 76.2mm & 41.9mm dia (dimention may vary + 1mm) , 3M length,zinc coated with additional special alloy coating 300mm on the topside for additional corrosion protection of the terminal complete. all as specified and as directed.

S&F thermoplastic weather proof empty box (IP-65) of size 300mm x 150mm x 170mm, fixed on wall with provision of nuts, bolts, washer, etc. including fixing of test point terminal block inside the box made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze of size 75 x 75 x 25mm, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia, 25mm long hexagonal head screw after taking down old unserviceable complete all as specified and as directed. MAKE : Hensel, Cat No. DK 1000G or equivalent model in Sintex/Spelsberg.

M&L for copper/brass nuts, bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, not exc. 5 cm long and diameter of neck 5 to 10mm for connection of earthing strip including making necessary hole of required diameter complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of earth pit, pit cover and earthing marker plate with suitable colour of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Chemical earth pit and cover painted in red colour, conventional earth pit and cover painted in yellow colour and earthing marker painted in red colour and marking on it in black paint.

M&L for earthing with copper earth plate electrode of size 600x600x3mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25m below ground level, connected to copper strip of size 20x3mm as earthing lead means of nut, bolts and washers, made out of copper/brass and 32mm dia GI pipe 'medium grade' for protection of earth lead and connected to test point or as directed including PCC pit in cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and RCC cover of size 450x450x50mm in RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with and including 8mm dia TMT bars @100mm centre to centre both ways, galvanised iron wiremesh, funnel, galvanised iron watering pipe 20mm bore 'medium grade', including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil complete, returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil upto a distance of 50m all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 5 of MES Schedule Part-I and testing on completion including taking down old existing unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Copper strip upto 7.5m including testing is deemed included in the item.

The annular space between the pipes being filled up with COMPACT FILL (CF) (crystalline conductive compound). The inner pipe should be extended with terminals for connectivity, the job includes digging the pits and refilling the same by electrodite/conductolite back fill compound (Ground Enhancer), the BFC should be eco friendly, it should not contain enviromentally hazardous material/metal having RoHS certification from NABL Accredited Lab. Good earth is to be arranged to fill the excavated pits by mixing the same with BFC 3 bags (25 KG each) including PCC pit in cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and RCC cover of size 450x450x50mm in RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with and including 8.0mm dia TMT bars @100mm centre to centre both ways including taking down old existing unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6mm thick, buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip of size 32x6mm earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanized iron as steel, protected by galvanized iron pipe 40mm bore (medium grade) including cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) earth pit with precast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 cover slab of size 45x45x5cm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15cm c/c both ways with 10mm dia mild steel round bar of 30cm long, bent to shape as lifting handle, funnel, wire mesh, 20mm bore galvanized iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers including necessary excavation & earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : GI strip upto 7.5m including testing is deemed included in the quoted rate. NOTE : The contract sum shall be derieved by deducting the amount shown in schedule of credit attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
