Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Hard core of stone (granite/ basalt/ trap) boulders or broken stone of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, mass concrete and sub base of floors, path/ paving etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.50mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base of floors and the like etc considering the floor slope complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.50M clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railing upto 60cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates etc and the like including weathering slightly rounded/ chamfered angles with & including necessary use and waste of form work for fair faces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.50mm graded stone aggregate as in bed block for hold fast etc and the like including weathering slightly rounded/ chamfered angles with & including necessary use and waste of form work for fair faces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC (1:1/2:3) (Nominal mix) type A-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

M&L for RCC (1:1/2:3) (Nominal mix) type A-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar ficings, dressed stone work and pre-cast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class B bricks, old size straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed

M&L for formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down Chowkhats or frame with shutter (w/o taking off shutter from the frame) area n.exc 1.50 sqm each and removal complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for IInd class (Indian Sal, Bijasal, Hollock or Benteak) hardwood plain, solid, straight chowkhats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue, pinned at joints complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for factory made 40mm thick second class (Indian Sal, Bijasal, Hollock or Benteak) hardwood plain, framed, panelled shutter (two or three panels) with lock rail and panel of 9mm thick B.W.P commercial ply or 12mm thick veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces; size of rail and stiles as per IS: 1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for factory made second class (Indian Sal, Bijasal, Hollock or Benteak) hardwood glazed and skeleton shutters 35mm thick, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc divided into squares, with plain, chamfered or rounded, mitred and rebated sash bars, any numbers, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc sizes of members of shutters as specified in SSR Part-I, Section 8, clause 8.24 (a) and fitted to chowkats complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fix 100mm size butt hinges, medium weight, cold rolled mild steel complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix aluminium handles 125mm size, cast type, anodised complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fix 200mm long aluminium anodised barrel tower bolts of extruded section complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fix 250mm long aluminium alloy, anodised sliding door bolts with hasp & staple (bolt type) & fixing clips of sheet, cast or extruded section and fixing bolts & sliding bolts of extruded section or cast aluminium alloy complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over as in reinforcement for concrete, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia as in reinforcement for concrete, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix factory made pre-coated steel windows/ ventilators flash butt welded with side hung shutters including box type hinges with pre-coated handles, pre-coated tower bolts, pre-coated steel peg stay 250mm long with suitable lugs and with glazing bars dovetailed or welded with and including provision of guard bars complete all as specified and as directed.complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) For construction details, TD drawing No. CEJZ/TD/980 Sheet 1/2 & 2/2 shall be followed. (ii) Wiremesh/ glass panes shall be measured and paid separately in "supply only" under respective items of BOQ.

Supply and fix factory made pre-coated steel windows/ ventilators flash butt welded with side hung shutters including box type hinges with pre-coated handles, pre-coated tower bolts, pre-coated steel peg stay 250mm long with suitable lugs and without glazing bars complete all as specified and as directed.complete all as specified & directed. (ii) Wiremesh/ glass panes shall be measured and paid separately in "supply only" under respective items of BOQ.

M&L for hold fast made out of flat iron of suitable section conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only stainless steel wire cloth, 0.63mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40 mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples or any other means as per site requirement complete all as specified & directed. Note:- To be fixed in steel windows/ ventilators since fixing element of this item has already been considered alongwith steel windows/ ventilators as taken here-in-before.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix rolled mild steel sections conforming to Fe- 410-W (Gde E-250) quality-A as in roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc. complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fix rolled mild steel sections conforming to Fe- 410-W (Gde E-250) quality-A as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails & guides for sliding doors, fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for mild steel work conforming to Fe-290 Gde -165 as in nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc, wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts & struts in fencing including cutting top to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 in framed work such as grills, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; ladders; railings and similar work complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 11 to 15mm dia mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square head at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt not exceeding 5 Cm complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down/ removing existing roof treatment over roof slab, roughening surfaces of old concrete floor/ roof/ terrace by picking and wire brushing the surface to remove the loose concrete, dust etc sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc including removal of debrise to out side MD land complete all as specified & directed.

Cutting out cracks to V section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement and sand slurry 1:3 complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering over roof surfaces in CM 1:4 with using water proofing compound @ 2% by wt of cement or as per manufacturer's instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed. Note: WPC shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply Only" under respective item of BOQ.

M&L for applying evenly tack coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade conforming to IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/sqm after cleaning the surfaces over & including a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.30 litre/ sqm consisting of 3/4 part bitumen of grade 85/25 and 1/4 part of kerosene oil on the top of prepared roof surfaces complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for unrolled over the bitumen coated surface, 3mm thick spun bonded non-woven polyester reinforced APP modified water proofing membrane weighing not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm with minimum over lap of 100mm and over lap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Suitable embedment of APP modified water proofing membrane shall be ensured into walls/parapet walls, special care shall be taken in laying APP modified water proofing membrane in situations such as drain/ expansion joints etc.

M&L for applying a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 100gm/ sqm and blinding material such as dry sand @ 0.75Kg/ Sqm over & including a coat of hot air blown bitumen 85/25 grade conforming to IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/sqm over polymeric membrane complete all as specified & directed. Note- Bituminous aluminium paint shall be of same manufacturer's as specified for polymeric water proofing membrane.

Dismantling asbestos cement (corrugated, semi corrugated, etc.) sheets in roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantting of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof covering and ridge complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based 0.60mm thick corrugated steel sheet of any colour having minomum tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws/ L or J type or cranked hook/ bolts as complete all as specified & directed. Make: Tata Bule Scope Steel Ltd or M/S Cril Colour Roof India Ltd. or Everest Industries Ltd or equivalent brand of other Make as approved by GE from list of make attached with tender documents.

Supply and fix pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based 0.80mm thick plain steel sheet of any colour having minimum tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length & girth as fixed) fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified & directed. Make: Tata Bule Scope Steel Ltd or M/S Cril Colour Roof India Ltd. or Everest Industries Ltd or equivalent brand of other Make as approved by GE from list of make attached with tender documents.

Dismantling wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/ slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and as directed..

M&L for mils steel galvanised powder coated T-grid frame work of make as approved by GE for suspended false ceiling with size of grid 600 x 600mm consisting of main tee/ runner of size 35 x 25 x 1.3 mm, cross tee of size 25 x 25 x 1.3 mm and wall angle of size 25 x 25x 1.5 mm suspended @ 1.2M c/c both way with and including 4mm dia GI wire with J hook, nuts/bolts, butterfly clips, soffit cleat/ rawl plug etc as per manufacturer's instructions and 8mm thick pre-primed, self embossed, textured designer, water & termite resistant calcium silicate boards for insulation complete all as specified and directed. Make: Armstrong or Ramco Industries or equivalent brand of other Make as approved by GE from list of makes attached with tender documents.

Dismantling, floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) including removal of debrise to out side MD land complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles 350x250x7mm or 450x350x7mm thick as approved by GE on vertical surfaces such as skirting/ dado, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 10mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for scratch free light shade vitrified floor tiles, minimum 10mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.42Sqm but not exc 1.00Sqm as in floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 20 mm thick screed bed in CM (1:6) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for scratch free light shade vitrified floor tiles, minimum 10mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exc 1.42Sqm but not exc 1.00Sqm as in skirting/ dado etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 10mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for machine cut kota stone slab as in flooring, 18-20mm thick over & including 20mm thick cement screed bed in CM (1:6) laid and jointed with gray cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for machine cut kota stone slab as in skirting/ vertical surface, 15-18mm thick over & including 10mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) laid and jointed with gray cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified & directed.

Cutting and polishing to existing kota stone flooring by machine in two operations, first cut by griding with carborundum stone of 120 grit and second cut with carborundum stone of 220-250 grit and washing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection finished even and smooth without using extra cement forming joints to full depth at every 3M intervals and at every change of direction and filing with bitumen sand mixture 1:3 by weight complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster etc on brick walls/ concrete (ceiling) surfaces of any descriptions including racking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water and disposal of unserviceable materials to out side of MD land complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 with using water proofing compound @ 2% by wt of cement or as per manufacturer's instructions on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply Only" under respective item of BOQ.

M&L for preparing new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing new plastered surfaces of walls and applying wall putty @ 1.0Kg/ Sqm and preparation of surfaces for further treatment and applying two coats of distemper, oil emulsion white or tinted complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for prepration of old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls of any description by complete removal of existing treatment and preparation of surfaces for further treatment and applying two coats of distemper, oil emulsion white or tinted complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for prepration of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over & including a coat of cement primer complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only 3.0mm thick sheet glass, ordinary quality alongwith oil putty for glazing in squares n exc. 0.5 sqm in each pane complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- To be fixed in steel windows/ ventilators since fixing element of this item has already been considered alongwith steel windows/ ventilators as taken here-in-before.

Supply only 3.0mm thick figured glass, pinhead type for glazing in squares n exc. 0.5 sqm in each pane complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) To be fixed in wooden doors/ windows since fixing element of this item has already been considered alongwith wooden doors/ windows as taken here-in-before. (ii) Beads for glazing shall be supplied with joinery.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of wood or wood based materials of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat synthetic enamel paint of colour as approved by GE over and including a coat of pink primer complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of iron/ steel of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint of colour as approved by GE over and including a coat of red-oxide primer complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for refixing or removing to store of size 15mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs, pillar taps, cast copper alloy with capstan heads, fancy type, chromium plated, screwed down high pressure, with or without lettered ‘Hot’ or ‘Cold’ with long screwed shanks and fly nuts, screwed for iron pipe 15mm dia complete complete all as specified & directed. Supply & fix in repairs vitreous china white WHB (550 x 400 mm) flat back with CP waste coupling, waste pipe, brackets including cutting for and pinning in ends of brackets complete all as specified and directed. Supply & fix in repairs, vitreous china urinal half stall, white (back or corner wall type) flat back with grating and union for discharge pipe & chromium plated water spreader for urinal (excluding waste pipe, trap and supply pipe to flushing cistern) but including providing & fixing plugs, bedding urinal against wall in cement mortar 1:2, securing urinal to plugs with and including 60 mm long brass screws, pointing around urinal back in cement complete all as specified & directed.
