Notes : (i)The contractor should be in possession of valid electrical license to execute electrical works. (ii) Supervisor for execution of electrical works/ electrical component of works employed by the contractor shall possesses supervisor certificate of competency issued by concerned State Government/ Union Territory and the worker/ tradesmen for execution of electrical works/ electrical component of works shall hold necessary permit issued by concerned State Government/ Union Territory. Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.50 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable, erection of poles etc. and getting out in soft/loose soil including separating serviceable bricks/cable cover for re-use at site obtained during excavation complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil not exc 50mtr distance and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV, type-I, flat size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm in trenches all as specified and directed.

Laying only un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV, type-I, flat size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm laid in trenches etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Serviceable cable cover obtained from Ser Item No 1 shall be reused.

M & L for fine dry river sand cushioning by spreading in trenches by gently punning down manually as in cable protection all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-charge.

Supply and Laying or fixing or passing through pipe, XLPE/PVC insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade cross sectional area 240 Sqmm 3.5 core in trenches, along the wall including necessary connection and providing cable lugs as required including disconnection/taking down of existing unserviceable all as specified and directed.

M & L for rewiring of old burnt out copper wiring in LT Panels/LT Feeder, replacing of cable Glands, cable lugs, bus bar link, connectors, insulators, door hinges, panel door locks & scrapping of old paints & applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for provn of Earthing complete with M.S. galvanized earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 M deep below normal GL) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.50 M below normal GL, connected to Galvanized earth strip 32x6mm upto 7.5 mtr with protection pipe by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of GI or steel incl excavation, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber with RCC cover (1:2:4) type B0, 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia bar, 3 Nos. both way, 40mm dia light grade GI protection pipe, funnel with wire mesh,watering pipe of size 20 mm dia med. grade, lugs, main Earthing lead upto 7.5 mtr incl. Charcoal dust, salt etc. all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Pt-I 2009 specification.

S&F GI strip size 25 x 4 mm all as directed including welding brazing and taking down of old GI strips as required at site etc complete all as specified and directed.

(b) MCCB TPN 250 Amps 36 KA 415 Volts - 1 Nos as a Incommer (c) MCCB TP 200 Amps, 25 KA 415 Volts - 1 Nos (d) MCCB TP 63 Amps, 25 KA - 3 No (e) Digital VAF Meter Conforming to Cat No - NEMFVIF00000 of HPL - 1 Nos (f) RYB Indicator lamp - 1 Set. Note - The lay out drawing of the panel shall be got approved by the contractor before panel fabrication from GE and shall be fabricated from CPRI approved manufacturer

M&L for testing of old earthing using calibrated earth tester & submitting result to Engr -in -charge all as directed. Note 1 : Watering of earthing with 2 Buckets (30Ltrs) water mixed with salt (total 20Kg) shall be carried out one day before the testing & the cost of the same shall deemed included in unit rate quoted. Note 2 : A sum of Rs 52,300.00 towards sch of credit shall be deducted to arrive the contract sum.
