PART-B: Plant Operation and Maintenance of 0.5 MLD (500 KLD) MBBR technology based Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) near Brindavan Building Operation of 0.5 MLD (500 KLD) MBBR technology based Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of M/s. Ion Exchange (I) Ltd. near Brindavan Building in daily three shifts i.e. 24x7x365 days basis for Twelve months as per schedule. The scope of works also include recording of the various operating parameters in required format (i.e. operational log sheet) to be submitted before start of work and informing any abnormal parameters like abnormal readings of the various measuring instruments, keeping the plant clean including cutting of small grasses etc, safeguarding of the equipment’s from any damage due to their running at abnormal conditions, excessive noise or vibration in the equipment, smell or abnormal heating etc. to the Engineer-In-Charge or his deputed representative all as per the specification enclosed and as per the direction of the Engineer-In-charge (E.I.C.) Note: Bleaching powder & phenyl shall be paid under relevant items of SOQ. The work shall be executed as per Schedule C & E of Specifications.

Collection of incoming sewage & outgoing effluent samples from Plant (1 Set each from each plant) on quarterly basis, delivery & testing of the same at NABET accredited, MOEF, MPCB or Govt. approved laboratory. Sample testing includes the parameters like PH, COD, BOD, TSS, Oil & grease, Dissolved Oxygen (D.O.) & Total Residual Chlorine and submission of its original test report before 1st week each next month as per instruction and as directed by Engineer-In-charge (E.I.C.). Note: Sealed container for sample collection is in scope of contractor.

MGF Media: Supply, filling, setting, testing & commissioning of all required medias in appropriate quantum in Pressure Sand Bed Filter of size 2m (D) x 1.875 (H) (Capacity =48m3/hr) of 1.5 MLD STP at Western Sector and 0.5 MLD STP near Brindavan Building adopting standard practices / OEM recommendations including removal of all old medias, cleaning, supply & fixing of all required hardwares / spares, disposal of all old medias to drying bed of old STP, carrying out all related works etc. complete as per site requirement. Filtering Media - Graded Pebbles, Silex, Greaded filering sand (Grading of sand should be such that particles greater than 75 micron shall not pass through filter). Muilti grade sand filter filled with various types of filter media, which are arranged in the following order. 1. The bottom portion of the filter is filled with three layers of pebbles of different sizes. a) 1 ½” x 1” b) ¾” x ½” c) ½” x 3/8” 2. The middle portion of the filter is filled with two types of silex. a) Coarse silex of size 3/8”x1/4” b) Fine silex of size ¼”x1/10” 3. The top portion of the filter is filled with 16/32” filter sand.

The pump shall be operated on 220 V single phase supply and shall be mounted directly on the top of the tank with necessary nozzles, valves, piping etc. complete.

U.V System: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following items for Ultra voilet light system ( 03 Nos) of 1.5 MLD STP at Western Sector and 0.5 MLD STP near Brindavan Building as directed & as per instruction of EIC. (Make: M/s UV Alfa, Model No. HF8-HD- Flange W/UVM 5000, Auto Wiper Type)

Complete repair and Puting in Service along with satisfactory test & trial in running condition of automatic quartz wiper system of UV System of 1.5 MLD STP at Western Sector and 0.5 MLD STP near Brindavan Building i.e. including supply & replacement of all the associated spare parts (if required) of the system for eg. Motor, Shaft, Wiper, cables, consumable & non-consumable materials etc. as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position structural steel of angle, flats, joists, channel, I Beam, plain / chequered plates for providing frame and cover to all valve chambers, providing ISMC channel support to pipes above Ground level, miscellaneous works etc., including cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting in position including supplying & fixing embedded parts for fixing supports in concrete, including painting with two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc cromate red oxide primer all complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Supply, Installation, Testing & Comissioning of Glycerine filled pressure gauge with 4" dial with valve tee and fittings of suitable range (Starting from 0-1 Kg/cm2 upto 0-16 Kg/cm2) as per the respective pumps and Blowers of the all the STPs. Note: The item includes removing of Existing non working old pressure gauges.

Painting of equipments, exposed pipeline, valves & fitting etc. of all the STPs Painting of STP plant & machinery like pumpset, pipeline of different sizes, all valves of different sizes ( butterfly/ NRV/ sluice / gate/ pit/ globe), gear box, motors, electrical panels, blowers etc. all equipments cover under STP. Painting of structural members like M.S. rail, platforms, M.S. supports, S.S. members, G.I. members etc. Painting shall be done by applying the two coat of red oxide as primer and after that two coats of enamel paint of approved make & shade as directed and desired by EIC. Before application of painting, external surfaces of machineries, valves, piping, fitting, accessories etc. shall be thoroughly cleaned to remove rust/scale/oil/dust by scrapping the old paint etc. This item included required painting materials required for this job & also includes the labour charges, wire brushes, emery paper, cotton, thinner, cleaner & all consumables for painting by manually or compressor painting (for electrical panels, air dryer, pipelines, motor & pump). Manual painting for all valves, base frames, safety cover etc. compressor painting for electrical panels, air dryer, pipelines, motor & pump etc. Painting is to be carried out once in a year as directed and instructed by E.I.C.

MBBR Media: Supplying, filling and commissioning of specially designed Biological Carrier media (MOC: PP) with atleast 500m2/m3 of surface area to volume ratio and Desnsity: 0.94 - 0.96 gm/cc to support the growth of biomass required in the MBBR reactor.

For 1.5 MLD STP at Western Sector

Dewatering Pump: Complete repair and Put in Service along with satisfactory test & trial in running condition including supply & replacement of all the spare parts, consumable & non-consumable materials etc including warranty of the same for the contract period of Dewatering Pump and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Ozone Dosing System: Repairing /SITC/ (as per the relevant item description below) of following components of Ozonator Unit (Capacity 150 gm/hr, Model: Indoz 150, Make- M/s. Oraipl) to Put the Ozone Dosing System in operation along with satisfactory test & trial in running condition as directed by EIC.

Supply & replacement of HT Element, Bottom Cap, Aluminium Cap, O Ring, SS Spring, Glass tube etc. by removing the old ones and fixing the new ones.

Supply, replacement and fixing of Gasket at Bottom (ID-185mm, OD-260mm, Thick-3mm), Gasket at Top (ID-185mm, OD-260mm, Thick-5mm), Gasket at Top 2 inch (ID-185mm, OD-260mm, Thick 8mm), Teflon Chamber (Height-150mm, OD-205mm, ID-190mm.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Comissioning of Solenoid valves, Solenoid Gang valves, NRVs, PRV, Auto drain valves of required Sizes for replacing the defective ones in the System.

Supply, filling, setting, testing & commissioning of all required media in appropriate quantum including removal of existing media in the Oxygen Generator Plant as directed by EIC.

Repairing and Putting in service of Cooling system and Booster Pumps with venturi.

Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Flow meter of same model,make etc. as that of the existing Flowmeter ( Flow 0-5 m3/Hr) including all the necessary fittings, accessories etc.

Complete repair and putting into service All piping works upto delivery into the Treated Water Tank including supply and fitting of required Plastic valves, Couples, bends, broken pipe etc and testing for leakge.

Bar screen:Providing, installing, fixing, testing and commissioning of Fine Bar screen made of SS 304 with Circular hole of dia 6mm or as directed by Engineer-In-charge (E.I.C. ) Note: Coarse screen should be installed before fine screen. Type : Manual, MOC : SS 304/ 316.

Lamella plates: Supply, Installation & Commissioing of Plates for Lamella Clarifier to fit into Clarifier tank i.e inclined overlapping FRP plates same as the existing plates, which will be arranged to form a separate sedimentation chamber or the cells between each pair of adjacent plates to successfully separate the sludge from the effluent.

Filter press cloth: Supply, Installation & Commissioing of FILTER PRESS CLOTH: PP Woven 5-8 micron retention capacity, suitable for the existing Filter press. Filter press PLATE SIZE: 800mm x 800mm.

Poly DOsing Pump: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Electromagnetically actuated Diaphragm type Chemical Metering Poly Dosing Pump. The pump shall be operated on 220 V single phase supply and shall be mounted directly on the top of the tank with necessary nozzles, valves, piping etc. complete of Capacity, Actuating Pressure, Max. Working Pressure etc. as per existing existing pump or as per OEM recommendation and as per the Instructions of Engineer-in-Charge: MOC: PP, Make : Milton Roy/ LMI

Ozone System: Repairing, SITC of Components of following components of Ozonator Unit (Capacity 150 gm/hr, Model: Indoz 150, Make- M/s. Oraipl) to Put the complete Ozonator unit in operation along with satisfactory test & trial in running condition as directed by EIC.
