REPAIR AND MAINT OF HIGH MAST LIGHTS, EARTHING SYSTEM AND ALLIED WORKS OF MES INSTALLATIONS AT LGJ MIL STN UNDER GE LALGARH JATTAN

M&L for bore earthing not less than 150mm dia 16 feet deep filled with black soil upto 7 feet from bottom complete with galvanized iron pipe 40mm bore medium grade 3 meter long tapers at bottom and provided 12 mm holes (staggered) at 75 mm centre to centre upto 2.5 meters of length from bottom, buried directly in ground filled with 45 cm alternate layer of chemical magnisum sulphate & salt upto ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 25x3 mm as earhing lead by means of bolts and nut, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel including brazing work and 40 mm dia light grade pipe for earth lead protection including all necessary earth work, excavation, earth chamber with PCC 1:3:6, type C1 and RCC chamber cover of PCC 1:2:4 with handle and 20mm dia GI watering pipe with funnel and wire mesh etc and testing on complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of GI bolts, nuts, checknuts and washers of galvanised iron all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I, the earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate packed layer 15 cm thick of charcoal or coke and common salt all around bottom and top, all as specified including GI pipe 20 mm bore medium grade for watering and 15 mm GI Pipe light grade for protection of earth lead wire, PCC chamber using PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 including necessary formwork, CI frame and cover, funnel and wiremesh, all excavation and earth work etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge Note : (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner (ii) protection pipe and GI earthing wire upto test point or upto electric equipment from top of earth plate shall be included in the unit rate of this item. (iii) The earth testing arrangement shall be done by the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Chemical Earthing in replacement of existing U/S earthing, based on 3 meters long 50 mm dia EC Grade 'K' Copper earth pipe as a electrode 50mm bore duly fixed with connector at top for connection of copper strip 32 x 6mm riveted/nut bolt after 12 mm boring. The Electrode is surrounded by mixture of Teksai Electron 22 kg 1 bag & Ultra 10 Kg 1 bag Chemical compund powder including providing of pit cover heavy duty plastic of suitable size all as per manufacturer specification complete all as specified and directed.. Make- Teksai 350 Cu Ltd/Power Track/Tirupati(Nagpur) Note: i) Rate included for Testing commissioning including checking of earth continuity and earth result complete all as specified and as directed. ii) Venders are bound to get earthing result less than 1 ohm. If the result of earthing not achieved less than 1 ohm by one earthing then another additional earthing will be provided by the contractor as bi-pot including interconnecting with copper strip of same configuration at no extra cost to achieve test result as specified and all as directed by Engr-in -charge. iii) Rates for copper earth strip of size 32x6 mm up to 7.5 RM will deemed to be included in quoted rates. Copper earth strip beyond 7.50 Mtr shall be measured and paid Separately under relavent items.

M&L for earthing complete with Galvanized iron earth plate electrode of size 600mmx600mmx6mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL connected to GI earthing strip of size 32 x 6mm flat by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of Galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion, the earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate packed layer 15 cm thick of charcoal or coke and common salt all around bottom and top, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note: The unit rate shall be deemed to include for excavation & earth work in any type of soil, formwork, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, MS angle iron frame , MS handle , CI funnel and wire mesh, GI watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade for watering, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia, earthing lead upto 7.5m complete all as specified in preambles of SSR Part-II and shown in electricl plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I.] Note : (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner (ii) protection pipe and GI earthing strip upto test point or upto electric equipment from top of earth plate shall be included in the unit rate of this item. (iii) The earth testing arrangement shall be done by the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair single pointed air termination aluminium rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long including nuts & bolts for fixing air termination rod to pole/ pipe duly insulated by providing appropriate insulator all as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair aluminum strip 25 x 3.15 mm as roof conductor or down conductor or along the pole/pipe complete with saddles/ insulators made out of porcelain or fibere and fixing screws complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25 mm drilled and scrwed including 3 nos. 8 mm dia and 25 mm long hex. Head screw complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates including weathering slightly roundded or chamfered angle and throating necessary form work finishing all exposed faces of concrete etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge. Note :( Volume of poles/struts embedded in concrete shall be deducted. )

M&L PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate including necessary form work and fair finish to exposed surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : Volume of poles/struts embedded in concrete shall be deducted.
