Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m deep and not exceeding 1.5 m wide and getting out in soft/ loose soil for all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for sand filling in trenches above and below the cable as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

Taking down carefully old unserviceable UG cable (LT/HT) of any size from the trenches/wall/pole and keeping aside for reuse and remove the unserviceable cable from site after affording credit depending on its serviceability state including removal of brick/PCC cable cover complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for Separately

Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1 with peak, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs 50mm bore GI tubing 'Light' grade with all fittings for cable protection fixed on poles/walls/laid under roads crossing etc and made good the disturbed surfaces/ area all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs 80mm bore GI tubing 'Light' grade with all fittings for cable protection fixed on poles/walls/laid under roads crossing etc and made good the disturbed surfaces/ area all as specified and directed.

Laying only in repairs including jointing, testing and commissioning of XLPE/PVC insulated, armoured, heavy duty, LT UG electric cable with aluminum conductor 1100 volt grade of size up to 4/3.5 core 50 sqmm including provision of new lugs, glands etc laid in trenches or fixed on wall/pole or drawn through conduit all as specified and as directed. Note : Cable shall be issued under Sch 'B' free for fixing/laying only.

M&L for Testing of LT UG cable by using vehicle mounted DC current injection fault locator by checking the insulation resistance using 5000v/10000v fault insulation locator tester, identify any number of cable fault in a single stretch (from source to load) and pin point the fault location complete all as specified & as directed for length upto 2000 m . Note: In single stretch any Nos of fault shall be paid as each job.

S& F of Combi space heaters with built in capillary thermostat 15 amp,230V,100 w, 25 to 85 degree size 250x75x38 mm for LT& HT switch gear panel boards, a long lifesturdy aluminium sheathed heater and accurate thermostat. High voltage test at 2kv/1Min, insulation resistance > 10Mega Ohms, Power rating with in +/- 5%, thermostst calibration all as specified and as directed.conformin to IS-4165 Make : Chandan Electric Corp Type :CSHT/010/250 or equvalent make.

M & L in repairs for straight through joints (epoxy) suitable for 3.5 core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed armoured LT underground cable with aluminium conductors including joint kits and labour complete for making joints all as specified and as directed for 3.5 core cable 6 to 16 Sq mm.

M&L for disconnecting all the electric connection and taking down old unserviceable Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) of any make/ description in any position from existing LT Panel and Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of new LT Air Circuit Breaker TPN, 440 Volts, 50 Hz of capacity 1600 Amps, manual draw out type, having over current and fault protection complete fixed to existing LT Panel with all fixing arrangement as required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- The cutting/welding job required for the modification of the existing busbar according to the fixing requirement of the ACB with the LT panel is included in the above quoted rate.

Description all as per item No. 41.00 above but Air circuit Breaker (ACB) Microprocessor based Trip Unit 440 volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, 1250 Amps, Standard breaking capacity 500 V AC.

M & L for replacement of the old deteriorated existing bottom,external and internal steel surfaces of feeder pillar boxes/ panels/ boards of any description and in any position including removal of disintegrated & deteriorated paint either by hand scrapping or by blow lamps, applying necessary filler coat and stopping as required and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (grey in color) with using spray machine over a coat of red oxide primer on old prepared surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: Rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to include fixing of cable glands,cable lugs and for writing/marking the MES /SM No and other relevant details with paint in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 4.50 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 3.25 meter below ground level) connected to GI strip 32 mm x 6 mm main earthing lead by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 5 of MES Schedule Part-I (1991) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board /panel etc. all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, earth electrode, earthing lead from electrode to equipment/substation/panel etc, adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6 mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) 40 mm thick cover reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12 mm dia round MS bar handle, GI light grade watering pipe 15 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh, and 40 mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Earth strip and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr only from the top of earth electrode are included under this item and additional earth strip/protection pipe etc. if any required at site shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A’.

Description all as per item No. 44.00 above but using 4 mm dia GI earth wire complete.

S & F 32 mm x 6 mm ,copper earth strip all as specified and directed.

M & L for testing of earthing carried out through earth testing instrument after disconnecting both end of the earthing strip or wire for LT Panels/MDSS panel/ DSS panel report should be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge all as specified and directed.

M&L for Repair/ replacement to the unsv , rusted feeder pillar box (KIOSK) with and including fabrication of double door and outdoor type incorporated with busbar chamber having aluminium busbar of capacity 500 amps insulated with RYB& black PVC insulattion tape suitable for 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire system 50 c/s fixed on SMC/DMC in step way complete with dust and vermin proof provisions made of CRCA MS sheet not less than 3.00 mm thick also having provision for incoming and outgoing MCCB,s/ cables, 02 Nos earth terminal point complete with 10mm bolt, 02 nos nut and 02 Nos Washers3mm thick complete . The panel body must be painted with powder coated paint after the complete 7 tanks dip process to remove all impurties from the panel sheet, all the door must be fixed with detachable pin type hinges,steel door locking system, all the electrical connection inside the panel from bus bar to MCCB,s shall be through aluminium strip properly insulated fixed on SMC/DMC insulators. Panel body shall be fixed on iron angle frame of size 40x40x5mm 40 cm grouted in 1:2:4 type 1 PCC 20 mm graded and 40 cm above the ground level duly painted with two coat of synthetic enammelled black paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed by Engr - in- charge.
