Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50 m wide and not exc. 1.50 m in depth for taking out/ laying of under ground cable, pole, pipe, stay etc. not exc. 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with clean and dry sand in trenches of under ground cable provided with a layer of sand 8 cm depth before laying of cable and 15 cm depth after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- Punned thickness shall only be measured and paid.).

M&L for well burnt sub class 'B' bricks of nominal size 230X115X75 mm abutting each other for mechanical protection of cable in trenches with width equal to lenght of brick complete all as specified.

Relaying of serviceable bricks of nominal size 230X115X75 mm abutting each other for mechanical protection of cable in trenches with width equal to lenght of brick complete all as specified. (NOTE: Serviceable quantity obtained from respective items here in after shall be reused under this item)

Boring holes horizontally under road, manually, in soft / loose soil, without cutting / disturbing the existing road surface, suitable for inserting pipe of n exc. 80 mm bore at a depth 0.75 m to 1.0 m from road surface for passing of UG cable, getting out and disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- GI Pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing in replacement GI protection pipe of 50 mm bore light grade for cable protection including all fittings laid in trenches or fixed on pole/ walls with mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified. Note:- Earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Ditto all as per item No. 9.00 above but 80 mm bore pipe.

Taking out old serviceable/ unserviceable cable of size 16/ 25/ 35/ 50 Sqmm, 3.5/4 core of any make/ type and keeping aside for the purpose of rerouting/ relaying in new location/ for requisite replacement/ further disposal complete including taking out bricks etc. all as specified and directed. (Note: Earth work shall be measured & paid separately).

Material and labour for heat shrinkable straight through joints suitable for LT PVC / XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 16 sqmm to 50 sqmm, 3.5/ 4 core with jointing accessories including cutting of faulty cable complete all as specified & as directed by our concern. Note: (i) Cutting of faulty cable/ joint is deemed to be included in the above quoted rates. (ii) If old burnt/ damaged LT cable/joint retrived will be issued to contractor as schedule of credit. (iii) Excavation and returning/filling required for straight through joints will be included in the quoted rate. If the excavation required more than 15 RM for joint of cable than it will be measured in separate item.

Dismantling and setting aside for reuse within 50 metres of old unserviceable concrete poles of any size and type complete with insulators and cross arms including breaking of PCC foundation of pole after necessary earth work and returning filling of soil complete all as specified.(Note: Earth work shall not be measured & paid separately).

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles, stay etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping including necessary framework (straight or curved), finished the surface fair using exta cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs anti-climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole including dismantling old unserviceable cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete and setting aside for re-use with in 50m complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply an fixing in repairs LT lightning arresters for outdoor use, non-liner resistor type, horn gap and choking coil, maximum working pressure 1100 volts including dismantling old unserviceable any type any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of LT over head ACSR conductor (Squirral/ Weasel type) from pin, disc, shackle insulators with suitable binding wire to insulators including dismantling of existing unserviceable ACSR conductor complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of cradles, hexagonal/ rectangular, fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia from LT overhead poles including dismantling of existing galvanised steel wire complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing of pin type, porcelain vitreous while brown of green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut 100mm height, 65 mm dia for 1100 volts grade complete including dismantling old unserviceable insulator any type all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing of shackle type insulator porcelain virtuous white, brown or green, 75mm height, 90mm dia for 1100 volts grade including one galvanized mild steel straps washer insulator bolts washers and nuts including dismantling old unserviceable insulator any type complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for vice type connectors consisting of two brass plates, two steel bolts and nuts for 2 conductors of equal or unequal sizes for non-tension connections 'including treatment of connector and ACSR conductor with conducting jelly including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PVC line separator suitable for 4 wire LT overhead lines at any height/ loaction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PVC line separator suitable for 2 wire LT overhead lines at any height/ location complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for tree trimming cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to maintain clearance along with over head power lines using climbing equipment and collecting the debris for disposal and removing broken limbs from electric wires by using hooked extension poles complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge Notes:- Span is taken as distance between two adjacent poles.

Supply an fixing in repair of danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of 20x15cm size for LT system complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing in repairs 6 Sqmm twin core cable flat or circular stranded conductor 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart including 4mm suspension wire complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing in repairs 10 Sqmm twin core cable flat or circular stranded conductor 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart including 4mm suspension wire complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of MCCB, TPN, 630 Amps, 50kA breaking capacity with overload and thermal tripping feature, 415Volts AC, 50Hz complete with suitable spreader all as specified and directed. Note:- Minor addition/ alteration and requirement of nuts and bolts, cable lugs for fixing of MCCB in existing panel deemed to be included in quoted rate.

All as per item No. 50.00 above but TPN MCCB of 400 Amps, 36kA breaking capacity.

Supply & fixing in replacement of flex fiber board of minimum thickness 5mm, surface/ wall mounting type, digitally printed with letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) as per sample kept in concern sub division including cutting into pieces as per site requirement complete all as specified.

Material and labour for painting of erected steel tubular swaged poles of LT over head line (except embedded portion), 8.5/9 Mtrs long complete including all MS work mounted on pole, earth protection & water pipe (if exists) by necessary preparation, cleaning including scrapping up of old corroded paint dirt/ dust/ rust carefully and applying two coat of aluminium paint and providing 07 Nos bands/ straps with synthetic enamel paint (any tint 30 cm wide each) from top of plinth block and writing of pole number with white synthetic enamel paint on black ground complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for cleaning the pre-stressed cement street light poles 9/ 11 meters height preparing surfaces plastered or unplastered old surfaces and applying two coat of cement based paint over one coat of primer including writing of pole numbers two coats colour washing of PCC coping complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair of busbar chamber box AC 415 V, 50 Hz, 3 Phase, 4 wire wall mounting type structure of minimum size 0.6mx0.6mx0.45m with bottom cable entry with suitable cable glands structure made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA steel sheet including 4 Nos aluminium bus bar 200 Amps supported on non hygroscopic fibres and brass screws having 4 Nos hole on each busbar with nuts, bolts & washers and suitable mounting arrangement for bus bars having sloping canopy at top with suitable locking arrangement duly powder coated finished complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of cross arms bracing supports clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nut, bolts, washers, welded, bending, cold as hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as required duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of mild steel chequered plate Fe-410-W (gde-E-250) quality A, 7mm thick square cut or notched , forming holes without any attachment as duct covering size and length as approved including primer painting complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel or iron surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enameled spray painting of approved shade complete all as specified and as directed by engineer in charge.

M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) not exceeding 30 cm high as per colour scheme complete all as specified.

M&L for repair/ maintenance of LT panel door by replacement of hinges and locking arrangement including necessary welding/ nuts, bolts, washers as per existing size/ type complete all as specified and directed. (Note: One side door will be measured & paid as one job).

S&F in replacement of LED indicator as per colour scheme (Red/Yellow/Blue/Green) suitable for LT panel complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of voltmeter digital type 0-500 volts AC, flush mounting type, 3 phase, class 1 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of ammeter digital type, flush mounting type, 3 phase, class 1 complete with suitable CTs of range as required on site complete all as specified and directed.
