Maintenance of lawns at Sadras East area in Kalpakkam Township

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees in garden area by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming the unwanted growth of grasses as required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, cleaning and sweeping of lawn area, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees both inside & outside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note: 1) The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2) The rate shall also includes cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening and measures to be taken to prevent the entry of goats, cattle's, etc., 3) The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m area maintained per month. 4) Contractor has to make his own arrangements for lawn movers. If departmental lawn mover is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5) If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 70 paise/Sq.m will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 6) For every 1800 Sq.m. of lawn area, contractor should engage minimum 1 Labour for regular maintenance. 7) The area to be maintained per month is 26000 Sq.m. As such, total area to be maintained under this contract is 12 Months x 26000Sq.m = 312000Sq.m.

Collection, supply and stacking of good quality red earth without stones, gravel etc., and stacking for pre measurement at places shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead up to 100 Metre etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Collection, supplying and stacking of decomposed dry farmyard manure without undesirable materials, stacking the same at places shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100 metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Collection, stacking and spreading of dry leaves manure (collected from dry leaves processing yard) without undesirable materials, stacking the same at places shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at palces shown with a lead upto 2 km and filling pits etc., allcomplete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer - In - Charge.

Development of lawns by Turfing method including earthwork excavation, digging, levelling the surface of the earth, area cleaning, collection, supply & planting of Mexican grass of good quality including conveyance, cost of Mexican grass and plants, etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
