MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF COMMAND SWIMMING POOL, SURFACE WATER TREATMENT PLANT, WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATION AT MINNIEBAY, CHOULDHARI DAM PUMP HOUSE AND CHOULDHARI DAM MRS UNDER AGE E/M-II UNDER GE MINNIEBAY, PORT BLAIR

Maintenance and operation of Olympic size swimming pool at Minniebay round the clock, seven days a week incl Sundays/ Holidays (in two shift of 8 Hrs each) by deploying Two FGM (Skilled) operator in Two shifts (one FGM per shift) for operating electric driven pressure sand filters one of two units at a time as required by switching on the electric supply from LT panels, operating the pump sets through automatic starters, chemical dosing pumps & mixing units and suction sweeping unit, opening the discharge valve upto rated delivery pressure, operate the control valves of pressure sand filter and valves, treatment of swimming pool water, back washing of filters, etc., as per manufacturer's instructions and manual and subject to maintaining the required chemical conditions and operation records all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The contractor shall ensure adequate chemical dosing and proper suction sweeping as and when required to keep the pool in hygiene condition.

Maintenance and operation of surface water treatment plant at Minniebay area round the clock, seven days a week incl Sundays/ Holidays (in two shift of 8 Hrs each) by deploying Two FGM (Skilled) operator in Two shifts (one FGM per shift) along with operation of panel board, pump sets, chlorinator, UV filter, carbon filter, sand filter and gate valves etc. as per manufactureres manual/ instructions, maintaining the required chemical conditions and operation records all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Maintenance and operation of Water Supply Installation including LT panel boards, motor starters, pumpsets, sluice valves, non-return valves, gate valves, etc., located at Minniebay and sluice valves located at Ajay Baugh, Srinagar and other locations of Minniebay for round the clock, seven days a week incl Sundays/ Holidays (in three shift of 8 Hrs each) by deploying Three FGM (Skilled) operator in Three shifts (one FGM per shift) as per manufacturer's instructions and manual by assisting the existing department employed staff in maintenance and operaton of all the water supply installations and pump house and in maintaining the daily log books of pumpsets, chemical consumption register etc., all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Maintenance and operation of Chouldari dam pump house, connected LT panel and DG sets at dam area (2X200 KVA DG set), 3X 165 HP pump sets,1X170 HP pump set, 2X5 HP pump set at Chouldhari dam round the clock, seven days a week incl Sundays/ Holidays (in three shift of 8 Hrs each) by deploying Three FGM (Skilled) operator in Three shifts (one FGM per shift) and attending electric complaints in the married accn and pump house areas of Chouldari complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: This item will be operated after 10 Apr 2020. The number of shifts may change based on the actual site condition.

Maintenance and operation of 33/ 0.433 KV MRS at Chouldari dam power house and connected LT panels etc. round the clock, seven days a week incl Sundays/ Holidays (in three shift of 8 Hrs each) by deploying Three Electrician (Skilled) SK in Three shifts (one Electrician per shift) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Note for Ser item No 1 to 5 :- (i) All necessary T&P including uniform shall be provided by the contractor to the operators at no extra cost. The rates for the same is deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted. (ii) The contractor will provide of all the necessary stationery such as log book, attendance register etc. to the operator for maintaining the plant running record. The rates for the same is deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted. (iii) suitable reliever to be provided during off shift operator. (iv) The contractor is advised to study the whole tender carefully before quoting the rates, in this regard special attention is to be given in Particular Specifications.

Note:- (i) The successful contractor after acceptance and prior to commencement of work shall produce valid electrical license issued by concerned State Government/ Union Territory in the name of the contractor or copy of agreement with any other agency having valid Electrical License issued by concerned State Government/ Union Territory along with copy of that agency's electrical license to this office with copy of HQ CWE, Port Blair. (ii) The contractor shall also produce the competency certificate issued by concerned State Government/ Union Territory of the supervisor employed to supervise the electrical works. (iii) The contractor shall also produce necessary permit issued by concerned State Government/ Union Territory of the workers/ tradesmen employed for executing the electrical works.
