Scarifying the existing granular road surface to a depth of 50mm and disposal ofscarified material within all lifts andleads upto 1000 metres - by manual means.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages toproper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite Crushable type such as moorum or gravel for screening and gravel for binding to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by mechanicall means - Water bound macadam Gr-II with moorum or gravel screening. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing and laying semi-dense bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 - 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 508 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade-II material and using birumen 60/70 grade.

Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a specified consolidated thickness for sub base course including satcking of the material to the departmental gauge on road side for pre – measurement the volume of stocks calculated as per the actual measurement shall be reduced by 15% for looseness in stacking to arrive at the net quantity. The rate shall including labour charges for spreading and hand packing to the required hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed and the cost of boulders etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
