REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF VCB, RMU, DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER, GOD, ISOLATION TRANSFORMERS INCLUDING MAINTENANCE OF HT OVER HEAD AND UNDER GROUND CABLE AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AF STATION BIHTA

Amount

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding. 1.5metre wide and not exceeding 1.5metre deep and getting out in soft / loosecomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in foundation / trenches including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus excavated material to a distance n.exc. 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 metre above starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and spreading clean and dry screened sand (unwashed) in trenches around the cable for cushioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Punned thickness shall be measured.

Providing, plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2, (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in mass concrete, filling and foundation etc complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type B1, (20mm graded crushed store aggregate) as in mass concrete, filling and foundation etc complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for re-laying bricks in trenches dry well burnt bricks obtained in protections of cable laid flat perpendicular to the direction of cable over sand cushioning for protection of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches dry well burnt best class locally available sub class 'B' bricks over sand cushioning for protection of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting & taking out defective under ground cable from trenches, pole, pipe, floor, wall etc locate the fault, rectify the defect and relaying the XLPE cable under ground PVC insulated and overall sheathed aluminum conductor heavy duty 11000 volts connecting and testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note :- Excavation, earth work, brick protection sand cushioning and GI pipe etc shall be measured & paid for separately.

Supply, laying & testing cross linked polyethylene insulated (XLPE) galvanised steel strip armoured cable with aluminum conductor, 11 KV `E’, of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, three core (IS-7098) in trenches/through pipes/ducts or on poles road crossing etc including taking out of old Cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Excavation, earthwork, cable protection cover, cable joint, sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule. (ii) Old cable, cable joint, brick cover, pipe etc shall be contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from contractor's due payments.

Material and labour for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) heat shrinkable, outdoor terminitation suitable for cross sectional area 50 to 95 Sqmm, 3 core aluminium conductor XLPE Cable including jointing material and accessories complete and cutting of old cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down carefully switch air break, gang operated, triple pole complete and Supply, installing, connecting and commissioning switch air break gang operated, triple pole, vertical mounted, out door type of 12 insulators, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame, with operating mechanism and operating rod of 25mm bore GI pipe heavy grade worked from ground level, with locking arrangements including brass pad locks with key (Make. Godrej/Harrison/Link) for current rating 200 Amp at 11 KV, complete with drop out fuse set fuse carrier and fuse elements having 100 Amp at 11 KV complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick directly burried in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5metre below the ground level connected to GI strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron at 2 points & GI pipe 40 mm bore medium grade for protection of earth strip, PCC chamber 1:3:6 (type C-1) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, funnel with wire mesh, 50 mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8 mm MS bars at 150 mm centre to centre both ways, CI frame and charcoal dust and common salt, all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR part-I and making test point as specified including excavation & earth work in any type of soil and connecting the earthing to an earthing point/equipment as specified and directed & testing on completion. NOTES : (i) The concrete pit shall be made in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm thick precast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate with suitable MS handle in lieu of CI cover. Supply and fixed in repairs danger notice plate of size 25 cm x 20 cm x 1.60 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps made out of 25 mm x 3 mm MS flat iron including bolts and nuts of requitred size for HT 11000 volts complete all as directed.

Material and labour for complete servicing of VCB Make : ABB installed at 11 KV Sub Station No 1 near (MES Office) by using required transport including taking down old unserviceale spare parts of any nature and replace with new and making functional upto the satisfaction, working with all functions like OC, UV, EF, instant tripping on fault including testing with required instruments as per secondary injection methode complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The servicing covers the following :- (a) Cleaning of breaker chamber (b) Lubrication of shutter mechanism/moving parts (c) Checking of shutter movement (d) Checking door interlocks with breaker (e) Checking of breaker interlocks with panel door (f) Checking of breaker rack in/out inside the panel. (g) Coiling of closing and tripping coil (h) Checking of gear box operation. (j) Checking of Test/service Aux. switch operation (k) Checking of tripping mechanism operation. (l) Spring charging limit switches operation. (m) Checking healthiness of three poles. (n) Checking of damping device and setting. (o) Tightness, checking of power connection. (p) Checking of breaker ON/OFF operation manually and electrically. (q) Checking of closing timings. (r) Checking of tripping timings. (s) Functional checking of all electrical and mechanical operation of brekers. (t) Co-ordination of relay and their testing with required testing equipment according to source incomer VCB and submit report for record. Taking out the sample of transformer oil from bottom of each transformer and HT OCB installed at various locations for checking die electric strength & acidity test of oil and carrying out dehydration (Filtration) of cooling/Insulating oil of HT/LT transformers and HT switch gears through straight line oil filtration plant for removing carbon deposit, extracting moisture content etc. After filtration, the oil shall withstand die electric strength 50 KV within 1 minute with 4 mm Gap. Die electric strength & acidity to be tested before and after filtration and submit the test results all as specified.
