Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.
Removal of existing drainage, irrigation, and other surface/ subsurface features Remove all debris, manhole chambers, old drainage and irrigation pipes, concrete pads, hydrants, etc., from the whole of the working area of the field and margins. (for any existing football ground) including Removal of Vegetative layer and Topsoil strip using specialised machinery like koro or Ryan. Strip the vegetative layer and topsoil to a depth of 150 mm below finished level as per drawing and cart the soil and debris off site.
Providing and backfilling aggregate of 6-10 mm to fill around and above the pipe, including compaction to the desired level of up to 50 mm above the sub grade level including compaction to the desired level. (NOTE: The aggregate used for drain trench backfill and for the drainage layer shall be free of fine particles. The calcium carbonate content shall not exceed 5%.The aggregate shall comprise of particles which are angular, sub angular or sub -rounded in shape but shall not contain more than 20% of particles which are flaky, laminar or platy in shape, i.e. where particle length exceeds thickness by a factor of two or more. Providing and backfilling above the aggregate base, a layer of coarse aggregate compacted to a desired depth of 50 mm maintaining the desired gradient.
Supply and spread the homogenous mixture of medium-fine sand and organic matter as above, to a minimum 200 mm consolidated depth over the whole of the field and margin area maintaining the desired gradient. Compaction of surface by water, rolled by 5ton roller to achive the desired compaction including surface stones to be removed.(NOTE: Sand must conform to USGA standards with due certification. Sand grain shape shall be rounded or sub-rounded. The saturated hydraulic conductivity value shall be in approx 150-250mm per hour and pH value in the range of 6.0 – 7.5. The infiltration rate shall be no less than 15 mm/hour)
Supplying and stacking of good earth at site including royalty and carriage upto 5 km lead complete (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment).

Providing and applying integral crystalline slurry of hydrophilic in nature for waterproofing treatment to the RCC structures like retaining walls of the basement, water tanks, roof slabs, podiums, reservior, sewage & water treatment plant, tunnels/ subway and bridge deck etc., prepared by mixing in the ratio of 5 : 2 (5 parts integral crystalline slurry : 2 parts water) for vertical surfaces and 3 : 1 (3 parts integral crystalline slurry : 1 part water) for horizontal surfaces and applying the same from negative (internal) side with the help of synthetic fiber brush. The material shall meet the requirements as specified in ACI- 212-3R-2010 i.e by reducing permeability of concrete by more than 90% compared with control concrete as per DIN 1048 and resistant to 16 bar hydrostatic pressure on negative side. The crystalline slurry shall be capable of self-healing of cracks up to a width of 0.50mm. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in-charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage. For horizontal surface one coat @1.10 kg per sqm.
Once the existing topsoil has been excavated and removed from works area the sub grade profile shall be re-graded with a bulldozer or motor grader with tilting blades or its equivalent and must be fine shaped with a Bobcat to the required sub grade design levels as mentioned below to form the ‘crown’ of the field, the sub base must be stable and rock-free. 1.
