| 1 | M&L for providing 4 mm thick APP modified memberane in repairs including removing old treatment over (Inaccessible) RCC roof with the following specifiations :-
(a) Cleaning existing surface properly.
(b) Apply oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 lit/Sqm manufactured by the same agency as that of APP with a density of 0.87 -0.89 Kg/Lit at 25 Degree Centigrade on the prepared dry roof surface.
(c) Providing and Laying APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non wooven polyster matt with physical propertities as under :-
(i) Membrane weight >3.6 Kg/Sqm .
(ii) Net wooven polyster weight >160 gm/Sqm
(iii) Softening point of membrane > 150o C
(iv) Joint Tensile strength Longitudiual > 650 Sq Cm at 230o C & Transverse > 450/ Sq cm
(v) Tear strength - Longitudual > 300 N & Transverse > 250 N Direction
(vi) Elongation > 30 %
(vii) Impermeability under water pressure > 3 Kg/Sq cm
Note:- APP membrane shall be laid using butane torch by Torch application with minimum 10 cm side overlap and 15 cm end lap. The laying of membrane shall be got done through authorised applicator of manufacturer of membrane.

Cleaning and preparation of surface with the help of wire brush or grinder. Wash the roof with clean water pressure jet. Remove all loose concrete, grease, oil using wire brush, and scrubber. Undulation in RCC roof slab surface, honeycombs, pin hones, imperfections should be chiselled shall be repaired with Polymer Modified Mortar mixed by adding 1 kg Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP, 5 kg fresh cement, and 15 kg graded quartz sand. (i.e., in the ratio of 1:5:15) or with Ready mix mortar,crack opening & filling included. | - | - | - | - |

| - | Stage 3 : Pressure Injection Grouting : Clean the identified crack and remove drilling dust before placing the nozzle.Seal and pack the nozzle with fast setting Dr.Fixit Instant Leak Plug compound. Injection of cement slurry admixed with admixture Pidicrete AM (225gms/ bag of cement) by using 40PSI grout pump. Plasticizing grout additive Dr. Fixit Pidicrete AM of M/s Pidilite Industries Ltd; the product is to be dispensed in water & added to 50 kg of cement at a water cement ratio of 0.4-0 – 0.45. The mixture thus batched is to be used for injection grouting. Dr. Fixit Pidicrete AM has a bulk density of 0.7-0.8 gm/cc. | - | - | - | - |
| - | Stage 4:Angle Fillet treatment
Roughen and clean the junction of wall and floor with air blower and water to remove the dust particles. Moisten the surface with water & apply a bond coat of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP and cement (1:1) by volume with brush. Providing & Laying angle fillet (gola) of size 50 x 50 mm in width over the bond coat when it’s in wet condition. Preparing PMM by taking 1 kg Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP, 5 kg fresh cement, and 15 kg graded quartz sand. (i.e., in the ratio of 1:5:15) on RCC surface (slab and wall junction) finishing in smooth finish. Including water curing for 3-4 days, etc complete | - | - | - | - |
| - | Stage 5:Drainpipes and Core Cut treatment:
Cleaning and preparation of surface with the help of wire brush or grinder. Clean the surface with water to remove the dust. Provide and apply Dr. Fixit Epoxy Bonding Agent and sprinkle sand to create a bonding key on the pipe surface and fill the core cut gaps with Dr. Fixit Pidigrout 10M non-shrink grout. Mix ready to use grout with water @ ratio of w/p = 0.13 – 0.15 (depending upon the flowability required) with paddle mixer and pour by providing necessary shuttering and support. Allow the grout to set for 24 hrs. And do the moist curing for 5 days. The area around the pipes shall be dressed in the 45 GSM glass fibre mesh in wet-on-wet condition by applying high performance elastomeric cementitious waterproof coating Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K. | - | - | - | - |
| - | Stage 6 :Waterproof Coating:
The concrete surface must be brought into surface saturated dry condition (SSD). Providing & Applying 2 coats of high performance two component prepacked cementitious waterproofing, Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K, with a mix ratio of (liquid: Powder), parts by wt. - 1:2 at the rate 0. 55 - 0.58 Sq.mt / Kg for 2 coats to achieve the DFT of 1mm in a span of 4 - 6 hours with a roller / brush on the prepared concrete substrate. Over the splash zone / shower wall taking the coating up the full height and up to 1 meter height on vertical surface and on other walls and 0.3 metre on horizontal surface below threshold for complete bathroom waterproofing. All the coats to be applied in perpendicular direction to each other. Allow the coating to air cure for 3-5 days before conducting water ponding test for 24 Hrs. The coating shall have Elongation at break > 50% as per ASTM D 412, Tensile strength > 1 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 412, Adhesion strength: 0.80 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 4541, crack bridging upto 1mm as per ASTM C 836, Water penetration (5 bar pressure) as per BS EN 12390. | - | - | - | - |
