RISK AND COST CONTRACT FOR RECTIFICATION OF DEFECTS RAISED IN WORK OF PROVISION OF 50 METRE SWIMMING POOL AT INS HAMLA

M&L for providing 4 mm thick APP modified memberane in repairs including removing old treatment over (Inaccessible) RCC roof with the following specifiations :- (a) Cleaning existing surface properly. (b) Apply oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 lit/Sqm manufactured by the same agency as that of APP with a density of 0.87 -0.89 Kg/Lit at 25 Degree Centigrade on the prepared dry roof surface. (c) Providing and Laying APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non wooven polyster matt with physical propertities as under :- (i) Membrane weight >3.6 Kg/Sqm . (ii) Net wooven polyster weight >160 gm/Sqm (iii) Softening point of membrane > 150o C (iv) Joint Tensile strength Longitudiual > 650 Sq Cm at 230o C & Transverse > 450/ Sq cm (v) Tear strength - Longitudual > 300 N & Transverse > 250 N Direction (vi) Elongation > 30 % (vii) Impermeability under water pressure > 3 Kg/Sq cm Note:- APP membrane shall be laid using butane torch by Torch application with minimum 10 cm side overlap and 15 cm end lap. The laying of membrane shall be got done through authorised applicator of manufacturer of membrane. (d) Over the membrance provide a finishing with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.1 Kg/Sqm as prescribed by manufacture of membrane.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling any description and thickness including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing rubbish off the premises.

Demolition/ Dismantling of cement concrete(unreinforced ) in roofs,floors (other than ground floors) ,beams,staircases,landing,chajjas and similar other suspended work)

M&L for providing stages wise waterproofing treatment to sunken portion of toilets as under.

Stage 1: Surface preparation Cleaning and preparation of surface with the help of wire brush or grinder. Wash the roof with clean water pressure jet. Remove all loose concrete, grease, oil using wire brush, and scrubber. Undulation in RCC roof slab surface, honeycombs, pin hones, imperfections should be chiselled shall be repaired with Polymer Modified Mortar mixed by adding 1 kg Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP, 5 kg fresh cement, and 15 kg graded quartz sand. (i.e., in the ratio of 1:5:15) or with Ready mix mortar,crack opening & filling included.

Stage 2 : Ponding test over raw slab.

Stage 3 : Pressure Injection Grouting : Clean the identified crack and remove drilling dust before placing the nozzle.Seal and pack the nozzle with fast setting Dr.Fixit Instant Leak Plug compound. Injection of cement slurry admixed with admixture Pidicrete AM (225gms/ bag of cement) by using 40PSI grout pump. Plasticizing grout additive Dr. Fixit Pidicrete AM of M/s Pidilite Industries Ltd; the product is to be dispensed in water & added to 50 kg of cement at a water cement ratio of 0.4-0 – 0.45. The mixture thus batched is to be used for injection grouting. Dr. Fixit Pidicrete AM has a bulk density of 0.7-0.8 gm/cc.

Stage 4:Angle Fillet treatment Roughen and clean the junction of wall and floor with air blower and water to remove the dust particles. Moisten the surface with water & apply a bond coat of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP and cement (1:1) by volume with brush. Providing & Laying angle fillet (gola) of size 50 x 50 mm in width over the bond coat when it’s in wet condition. Preparing PMM by taking 1 kg Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP, 5 kg fresh cement, and 15 kg graded quartz sand. (i.e., in the ratio of 1:5:15) on RCC surface (slab and wall junction) finishing in smooth finish. Including water curing for 3-4 days, etc complete

Stage 5:Drainpipes and Core Cut treatment: Cleaning and preparation of surface with the help of wire brush or grinder. Clean the surface with water to remove the dust. Provide and apply Dr. Fixit Epoxy Bonding Agent and sprinkle sand to create a bonding key on the pipe surface and fill the core cut gaps with Dr. Fixit Pidigrout 10M non-shrink grout. Mix ready to use grout with water @ ratio of w/p = 0.13 – 0.15 (depending upon the flowability required) with paddle mixer and pour by providing necessary shuttering and support. Allow the grout to set for 24 hrs. And do the moist curing for 5 days. The area around the pipes shall be dressed in the 45 GSM glass fibre mesh in wet-on-wet condition by applying high performance elastomeric cementitious waterproof coating Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K.

Stage 6 :Waterproof Coating: The concrete surface must be brought into surface saturated dry condition (SSD). Providing & Applying 2 coats of high performance two component prepacked cementitious waterproofing, Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K, with a mix ratio of (liquid: Powder), parts by wt. - 1:2 at the rate 0. 55 - 0.58 Sq.mt / Kg for 2 coats to achieve the DFT of 1mm in a span of 4 - 6 hours with a roller / brush on the prepared concrete substrate. Over the splash zone / shower wall taking the coating up the full height and up to 1 meter height on vertical surface and on other walls and 0.3 metre on horizontal surface below threshold for complete bathroom waterproofing. All the coats to be applied in perpendicular direction to each other. Allow the coating to air cure for 3-5 days before conducting water ponding test for 24 Hrs. The coating shall have Elongation at break > 50% as per ASTM D 412, Tensile strength > 1 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 412, Adhesion strength: 0.80 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 4541, crack bridging upto 1mm as per ASTM C 836, Water penetration (5 bar pressure) as per BS EN 12390.

Stage 7 protection screed for water proofing coating Providing 15mm thick protective plaster in CM 1:3 mixed with Pidilite URP @ 250ml/50kg cement all as manufactures instructions.

Stage 7 :Ponding test over slab

Stage 8:Horizontal Protection - Brick Bat Coba for protection and slope: Providing & laying brickbat coba of minimum 180 mm thick laid over a bed of cement mortar (1:4), including integral waterproofing admixture, Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ of M/s Pidilite Industries conforming to IS 2645:2003@ 200 ml per bag of cement. The surface should be neatly finished with the help of wooden / steel hand trowel. The vertical surfaces of the adjoining walls are to be treated up to a height of 300mm including rounding of junction. The curing should be done for 2 weeks.

Stage 9: Sunken portion of toilet filled up with Plain cement concrete over brick bats with cement mortar 1:4

Stage 10: Vertical wall Protection plaster: Apply 1 coat of spatter dash bond coat mixed in the ratio of 1 part Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP: Cement and 2 parts of clean fine coarse sand and 1 part water to make thick slurry coat over the waterproof coating on the vertical walls. Apply 12mm thick plaster over the prepared surface of cement sand mortar admixed with integral waterproofing compound conforming to IS 2645:2003, Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ @ 220ml per bag of cement. Including finishing & water curing of plaster for minimum 7 d

Stage 7 :Ponding test over slab

M&L for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface broken stones or boulders

M&L PCC 75 mm thick type B2, 1 : 2 : 4 (40 mm graded aggregate) in sub flooring complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for Virified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 Sqm not exceeding in floors etc over 20 mm thick cement screed bed (1:3) set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. Over 20 mm thick cement screed bed (1:3)set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match exiting tiles complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for chequred tiles 30 cm*30 cm *30 mm thick,set jointed ,pointed in neat cement slurry in floors over cement screed bed 20 mm thick with greay cement and no pigment

M&L for swimming tiles 247*122 mm *8 mm thick set and jointed in tile adhesive roff or equivalent and pointed in epoxy grout to match exiting tiles complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling water tanks and removing it to store exc 1000 and not exceeding 2000 ltrs

M&L Rotational moulded polyethylene three layer water storage tanks (Cylindrical verticval with closed top) hoisted & fixed in position all as specified of 2000 ltrs capacity complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for Taking down cement mortar or lime plaster of any description from stone or brick wall etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water and disposing off the rubbish materials out side MD and including necessary scaffoldings complete all as specified and directed

M & L for 15 mm (10+5mm) thick ready mix plaster using WPC @ 2% by weight of cement on brick work or concrete surfaces; surfaces finished even and smooth including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid seperately.

M&L 8 mm thick ready mix plaster , on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in the ratio of 1:4, mixed with Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+, an integral waterproofing compound, at a rate of 200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement. This should be applied over the bond coat prepared with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP and cement in a 1:1 ratio by weight of the cement. finished even and smooth including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and directed.

M/L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of alkali resistant primer using roller etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for applying Two or more coatsof 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint havingVOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance asper IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance,dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade(Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives@ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including primingcoat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10sqm over new surfaces.

M & L for complete removal of existing treatment on surfaces of new/old walls, chajjas etc by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots washing down with water and freeing the surfaces from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungus. Flakes etc applying two coats of 100% Anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint in approved shade over a coat of primer including necessary scaffoldings complete all as specified and as directed.

M/L for preparation of old plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of alkali resistant primer using roller etc complete all as specified and directedrfaces

M & L for cutting out cracks (not exc 5mm) to V-section in existing wall/chajjas and cleaning out and filling up with Dr fixit crack seal including necessary scaffoldings complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L applying crack filling with polymer based chemical (Dr Fixit crack X shrinkfree or equalents) for cracks not exc 10mm width, applying as per manufaturer`s instructions Complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for silicon sealant used to water proofing for window and door joint between window and wall ,green marble surfaces plain or moulded not exc 10 cm width or girth .Apply with silicon gun complete all as specified .

M&L for removal of rust marks from existing steel railing(SS 50 mm dia,40 mm dia,25 mm dia) by mechanical buffing and polishing ,including cleaning,rust removal and restoring surface finish complete all as specified and as directed by Enginner -in-charge

M&L for providing stages wise waterproofing treatment to Spectator gallery Front elevation seepage treatment:- Stage 1: Surface preparation Erect bamboo scaffolding (Jhulla, Laddar, etc.) at height, making a suitable and safe arrangement for exterior painting. Carefully scraping and cleaning the entire surface or area with wire to remove any loose or poorly adhered particles. including Cleaning the surface with stiff nylon and wire brushing, followed by high-pressure water jet cleaning. Algae and fungus on the wall are to be removed by using a high-pressure wash or coir brush and shall be treated with fungicidal solution. Satge 2 : External plaster : Apply a 15 mm thick, sand-faced two-coat plaster in the ratio of 1:4, mixed with Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+, an integral waterproofing compound, at a rate of 200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement. This should be applied over the bond coat prepared with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP and cement in a 1:1 ratio by weight of the cement. Finish the application with curing and other necessary procedures to complete the process. Stage 3 : Exterior Waterproof Coating: Providing and applying one coat primer of Dr.Fixit Primo white adding 50 % water in it @ coverage of 7-8 sqmtr/lit/coat followed by two coats of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Star without water dilution, ensuring a coverage rate of 4.0 – 4.5 m2 /Ltr/two coats. Allow it to dry for 4-6 hours to achieve a DFT of up to 100 - 110 microns. Allow the coating to fully cure for 7 days. The material has the following technical properties: a hairline crack bridging up to 1 mm; elongation of >100% as per ASTMD 412; tensile strength of 3.50 MPa per ASTM D 412; adhesion strength of 2 MPa as per ASTM D4541.

M&L for all cracks up to 3 mm in width should be opened up 5mm making the V groove and fill with Dr. Fixit Crack X Paste. Apply the primer coat prepared with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Paste and water in 1:1 proportion over the crack surface. Fill cracks with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Paste when the surface is tacky and not dried completely with a spatula or putty knifes and level with the surface. For Large cracks more than 5mm and separation gaps use polymer-modified mortar (PMM) mixed with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP 10% by weight of cement after making the V groove.RCC- block joint opening & fiiling with Pidigrout 10 M included.

M & L white cement based Wall care putty not less than 1mm thick on wall/ceiling new or old surfaces of any description finished even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Mirror polishing on old marble/ granite/ Kota stone/ stone work where ever required to give high gloss finish complete.

M*L for removing the tiles around the crack of swimming pool ,cleaning the surface & tapping the surface so as to check the hollowness or loose portion,removing the loose portion ,making the groove of size 25*25 mm .Apply bond coat of Dr fixit epoxy agent &filling the same with Dr.fixit pidigrout 10 M after curing for 3 to 4 days ,apply Dr.fixit fastflex on entire opened area.Fixing the tiles with suitable tile adhesive &Sealing the groove with UV resistant epoxy tile grout.

M&L for providing and filling with racing pool hook with Dr fixit pidigrout 10 M curing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-charge

M&L for removing the existing ladder and bolts carefully without damaging RCC and refixing the ladders Stage 1: Clean the existing holes to 10 mm dia *12 mm depth and remove all dust and old material. Stage 2 : Inject Dr fixit Anchor @ 4 ml /No stage 3 : Insert SS316 bolts with slow twisting and allow full curing as per manufacturers instructions stage 4 : Seal bolt periphery with waterproof non shrink grout/pool garde sealent,Refix ladder and tighten bolts after curing.

M&L for balacing tank pipe treatment ,Removing loose material around pipe and making the groove around pipes atleast 25 *25 mm &dry the surface.Apply bond coat of Dr.Fixit epoxy bonding agent and filling the same with Dr.fixit pidigrout 10 M and allow it to dry for minimum 3 to 4 days complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-chrage.

M&L for pipe treatment in diving pool including removal of tiles and concrete in the diving pool base ,removal of loose material and forming grooves 25 mm*25 mm around pipes ,cleaning and drying surface ,application of bond coat with Dr fixit pidigrout 10 M, curing for 3 to 4 days ,concreting and matching tile laying and epoxy joint filling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for applying evenly a priming coat/tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen 80/100 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm of road surface complete all as specifed and as direcetd .

M&L for Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 25 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete

supply of Liquid water proofing compound

M&L for old plastered surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint over a primer on wall complete all as specified and as directed .

Surface excavation in soil n.exc 30 cm deep and average 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil.

S&F pre cast PCC blocks (size 30cm x 45 cm x 20 cm) in (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate set and jointed in CM (1:6) and struck flush etc complete.

M&L for painting over kerbs stone two coat of synthetic enemal paint over a coat of priming .

Cleaning of diving pool using suction sweeper including removal of settled dirt,silt and debris from pool bottom and side walls complete with suction sweeper ,T&P and safety arrangements complete all as sepcified and as dircted by Enginner-in-charge

Deduct Credit for Demolished/ Dismantled material Rs. (-) 2500.00 (Minus) as listed in Schedule of Credit Note1: Tenderers will not quote against this item being a tentative amount to be considered to arrive at the 'Contract Sum' Note 2:- The tenderer must keep in mind when quoting rates against items out in multiple store house having height 4 mts to 7 mts. Necessary scaffolding and saftey measures required during execution of work are including in this items.
