SCH "A" PART-I (EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION)

Dismantling old unserviceable ACSR conductor of assorted sizes as in over head lines from poles and taken on credit complete all as specified and as directed.

The weight of ACSR conductor only shall be measured as per preamble given in Sl Page No.384 of SSR Part-II 2010.

Dismantling cross-arms of mild steel channel or angle sections etc., complete and taken on credit complete all as specified and as directed.

The porcelain insulators shall also be dismantled alongwith the conductors and taken on credit.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m depth and getting out in any type of soil all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Dry river sand laid to required width of trench at bottom and top for cable cushioning all as specified and as directed.

Punned thickness only shall be measured.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Common burnt bricks sub class "B" of old size, designation 50, laid dry in trenches with width equal to length of bricks across the cable for cable protection all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing HT UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade,(earthed), 3 core, cross sectional area 95 sqmm in trenches / drawn through pipe / fixed on walls / bare in road crossings / paths / drains / ducts / floors / fixed on poles / equipments complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) Lugs and glands shall be used appropriately wherever required while connecting cables to the panel board and the quoted rates are deemed be include for the same.

(b) Earthwork, sand cushioning, protection for cable etc., as required shall be measured and paid separately.

(c) Precommissioning test shall be carried out at factory premises before despatch.

Steel tubing, galvanised, light grade, with all fittings such as bends, elbows, tees etc., and laid in trenches / under roads / crossings etc., of bore of pipe 150mm for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthwork as required shall be measured and paid separately.

Cable route indicator dully marked with HT or LT cable, working voltage, size of cable and route made out of GI plate 3mm thick, 150mm dia fixed on angle iron ISA 25mm x 25mm x 3mm, 500mm long, suitably embedded in PCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate of size 300mm x 300mm x 300mm on ground and the mild steel surfaces shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

The plan area of the road surface cut for laying pipes shall be measured for purpose of payment.
