Cutting in earth work in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil, including saturated soil comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiesling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohabited) and their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering whereever required,settling out to required lines,levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer in charge at site according to the HP.PWD specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at approved dumping site of M.C. Shimla or otherwise including payment of prescribed charges of dumping to the owener of dumping site through all modes of transporation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith its levelling, fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, mechineries, tools, equipment and safety measures and incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if required). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent. Any loss to the public and private properity during the course of execution and disposal of servicable and unservicable materials shall be the absolute responsiblity of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer in Charge.Recovery of useful stone 64.90 cum @Rs. 300/- per Cum.

Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work, lift upto 1.50 meter stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked into 15cm layer when required into plinths sides of foundations etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth including carriage of material with in all leads and lifts.and as per the direction of Engineer in-charge.
