Comprehensive maintenance of B/R and E/M works for Bldg No P-1, P-8, P-12 and P-20 at DGQA area under GE Avadi

Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.50 m wide and not exceeding 1.50 m in depth for foundation of poles, stay, cable, pipes etc and getting out complete all as specified.

Returning, filling, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each complete all as specified.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Boring of trench under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine for road crossing GI tubing of any size for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply laying in replacement & testing cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (Heavy duty_) LT 1100 volt grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 120 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for sub class "B" brick covering laid dry flat (width equal to be length of the bricks) over sand cushioning along the length of cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning old rectrieved sub class brick and restage over sand cushioning along the length of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable in trenches to cover under ground cable complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Punned down thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement)

Supply & fixing in replacement of MCCB Capacity 36 KA 4 pole 400 Amps adjustable thermal and fixed magnetic type with preader and aluminium lugs all as required at site complete all as specified

Supply & fixing in replacement of MCCB Capacity 36 KA 4 pole 250 Amps adjustable thermal and fixed magnetic type with preader and aluminium lugs all as required at site complete all as specified

Supply & fixing in replacement of MCCB Capacity 36 KA 4 pole 160 Amps adjustable thermal and fixed magnetic type with preader and aluminium lugs all as required at site complete all as specified

Supply and fixing in replacement 80mm dia GI light grade tubing with all fittings complete to wall or for garden lights or laid in floors for cable protection including cutting chases and necessary brick work and plaster work to making good the distributed surface complete all as specified and directed.

Excavates and relaying cables loops near the poles LT Panels transformers, cutting the damages/burnt parts of cable and reconnecting its into positions complete with thimbles, nut bolts, sleaves all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting and uprooted plants/ bushes inside sub station cleaning sub station complete including removing of all aggregate complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for scrapping old faided LT Panel/ APFC Panel any type and size and paint with two coat of anti corrosive paint of existing colour complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spraying anti vegetation chemical liquid of 1ltrs bottle mixed with water as per direction of Engr in charge complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fill up transformer oil topping up having dielectric strength not less than 50 KV at 4 mm gap conforming to IS complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried in ground vertical to a depth not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized GI strip of size 32 X 6 mm and 40 mm dia bore 7.5 mtr long light grade GI protection pipe for earth strip and GI watering pipe 40 mm dia medium grade from the top edge of earth plate fixed with deep cut on one end of pipe and fix from earth plate up to one feet above ground level of other end and plugged watering pipe at top with MS cap and grouted in PCC 1:2:4 of size 30 X 30 X 30 CM etc and 15 CM alternate layer of charcoal and salt around all sides of earth plate all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR part I of 2009. Note :- All joints either strip to strip of strip to earth plate are fixed with welded joints.

Supply and fixing in replacement of male female contacts of gang operative switch made out of brass and rated capacity 200 amps ,make matching with the existing switch complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fixing in replacement of copper ribbon suitable for 200 amps rated capacity gang operative switch, 45 CM long complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and replacement LT 11 KV bush rod suitable for indoor / outdoor type 400-500 KVA transformer complete with brass stud, brass nuts, brass cup and packing gasket complete all as spd and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement Copper thimble of size 185 to 400 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement 70sqmm single core heavy duty insulated cable suitable for 11 KV from top disc insulator to GOD and disc to disc in any lenth with complete nuts & thimbles all as required at site. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of ACB 4 Pole , 415 Volt with thermal magnetci release (Manual drawout tyupe) of capacity 630 Amp complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fixing LED type street light fitting pressure die cast aluminium housing(Heat sink)for effective thermal management,IP 66,Operating Voltage 140-270 Volts, with Lens and Surge Voltage Protection of luminaires 100 watt LED 6000K complete fitting including 1.50mtr(minimum) 2core PVC insulated aluminium cable from conductor to street light fitting all as specified.

Supply and fixing street light bracket made out of GI pipe 40/32 mm suitable for 60watt LED Street light, medium grade 1.2 mtr long made to shape with fixing clamps of MS flat 40x6mm nut bolts etc for street light all as specified and directed

S & F in repairs/ replacement cable Straight joint kit for 1100 volt, out door type joint complete with all jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5 / 4 Core cable of size 25 sqmm to 35 sq mm all as directed.

S & F in repairs / replacement cable Straight joint kit for 1100 volt, out door type joint complete with all jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5 / 4 Core cable of size 50 sq mm all as directed.

Taking out existing gravels/hardcore material from the bottom of substn/equipment completely for cleaning and spraying of anti grass chemical and screnning the hardcore material and refill with new gravels omplete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note:- Anti Grass chemical will be measured and paid separetly respective item of BOQ.

Material and labour for providing cable fault locator and locating fault in HT cable with the help of locator and repair the same using st through joint complete all as specified and as directed. Note Veh mounted cable fault locator and other charges are included in the quoted rate. St through joint shall be measure and paid seperately.

Rubbing/scratching old paint of transformer outer side of capacity 400 to 500 KVA, through cleaning with kerosene oil and providing two coats of anti corrosive metallic paint outside as applicable including writing MES No on Transformer body with black paint complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement pin type Polymer/Porcelin insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers & one galvanised nut for working pressure 11000 volts, height 150mm and dia 150mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge

Material and Labour in replacement for straight through joint kit of heats shrinkable suitable for 70 sqmm to 120 sqmm HT 3 core 11000 volts XLPE cable type complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour in replacement for Indoor End temination kit of heats shrinkable suitable for 120sqmm to 185 sqmm HT 3 core 11000 volts XLPE cable type complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour in replacement for Outdoor type End temination kit of heats shrinkable suitable for 120sqmm to 185 sqmm HT 3 core 11000 volts XLPE cable type complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning, dehydration/ reconditioning of transformer oil different location by dehydration plant including testing as per IS Specification and result not less than 40 KV at site, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing, in replacement, air breather with silica gel suitable for 400 KVA to 500 KVA Transformers complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing and repair/maint of ACB Switch upto 800 Amp 430 Volt alongwith tripping system and carried out the fwg repair/tests made for smooth operation. (a) Cleaning and greasing of mechanism, Operation, testing of trip and close electrical and manual mode, Spring charging testing electrical and manual mode, Cleaning of panel insulater CT &PT unit, (a) Service will be carried out through Service Engineer of Manfacturer /Authorised Service Engineer only. (b) The cost of minor spare parts i.e nut and bolts, springs, grommets, clips, pin etc essentially required to make the breaker serviceable shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for locating the fault in VCB, repair/ replacement of defected items, drying moisture from VCB and common complete bus bar of system and restand the elect supply complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) All tools and plant including blower/ gas cylinder, spray for cleaning bus bar , spray for bus bar insulation , cleaning clothes , emergency lighting arrange in power house for repair work and other equipment will be arranged by the contractor with no extra cost paid to contractor. (ii) One VCB and common complete HT bus bar of different VCB will be catered as on Job (iii) Minimun one VCB shall be produce to contractor for restand/ repair for one visit. Contractor will not demand all VCB repair in one visit. Visit and Repair charges of electrician and helper are included in the quoted rate. no extra charges paid to contractor.

Material and labour for locating the fault in Transformer of any capacity , pole mounted/ plinth mounted, laid indoor on ground , repair/ replacement of defected gasket, HT bush , LT bush, replacement of thimble of transformer 400 KVA to 500 KVA , maggering transformer for detecting fault and retapping complete and make the transformer serviceable complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) All tools and plant including magger , ladder and othe equipment will be arranged by the contractor with no extra cost paid to contractor. (ii) One transformer will be catered as on Job (iii) Minimun one transformer shall be produce to contractor for restand/ repair for one visit. Contractor will not demand all job in one visit. Visit and Repair charges of electrician and helper are included in the quoted rate. no extra charges paid to contractor. (v) Strip opening of transformer for detecting fault shall be included in the quoted rate. No extra amount shall be paid to the contractor. (Vi) LT/ HT rod , transformer oil and insulator shall be measured and paid seperately.

Servicing of HT VCB 11KV,630A /800A of Kirloskar or as per existing make alongwith tripping system and testing of vaccum circuit breaker 11KV, 630A/800A , 25KA including taking out Breaker/trolley and carried out the fwg repair/tests made for smooth operation (a) Cleaning and greasing of mechanism- 01 Job (b)Tightning testing of mechanism parts- 01 Job. (c ) Alignment testing and adjustment of mechanism- 01 Job. (d) Operation, testing of trip and close electrical and manual mode- 01 Job. (e) Spring charging testing electrical and manual mode- 01 Job. (f) Cleaning of panel insulater CT &PT unit- 01 Job. (g) Cleaning and tightning of control/wiring CT &PT unit- 01 Job. (h) Cleaning and testing of relay with current injection method- 01 Job. (j) Testing of auxillary relay - 01 Job. (k) Allingment of trolley, checking/greasing of shutter /lock of breaker Note :- (a) The cost of minor spare parts i.e Springs, grommets, dust cover, ring of isolator contacts, clips, pin for release prop, 'Y' Phase shround, over ride stop pin , grease and lacker etc. unless or otherwise mentioned here-in-after but essentially required to make the panel serviceable shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT underground cable XLPE insulated PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade cross sectional area 185 sqmm 3 core laid in duct / trench/along pole etc including making connection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of old unsv for danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet , vitreous enamelled white,. With letter in English & Hindi, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 25 x 20 cm complte all as specified and as directed.

Supply laying in replacement XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded aluminum cable , galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (Heavy duty) LT 1100 volt grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 300 sqmm 3.5 core complete laid in duct complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item No 44 here-in-before but of size 50 Sqmm 3.5 core.

Material and labour for. lifting and lowering of submersible pump set 5 to 7.5 HP capacity and of size 50/40 mm bore of dia with flanged column pipe ( each length of column pipe not more than 3 mtr ) maximum depth of submersible pump not more than 60mtr by opening the column pipe after removing old burnt / rusted nut bolts, washers including replacement of rubber gasket and nut bolts and washer etc, complete all as specified and as directed .

Repair/maint of unsv submersible pumping set 7.5 HP of capacity from bore well and dismantling and strip opening of 3 phase 415 volt, 2900 rpm AC submersible pump at site in presence of Engineer-in-charge for checking complete carrying pump set to workshop for repair of pump set ,dismentling and step opening to complete of under mentioned capacity, and segregate all serviceable parts and kept at site for reuse of unsv parts/spares such as CI/ GM impeller,necking bowl bushes,sand cap,CI intermediate bowl,s/s pump shaft etc , complete servicing, cleaning, greasing , reassembling inclding testing at site on full load complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in- charge. Notes :- Parts shall be measured and paid separately

Repair/maint of unsv AC submersible motor of capacity 7.5 HP from bore well and dismantling and strip opening of 3 phase 415 volt, 2900 rpm at site in presence of JE/Engineer-in-charge for checking complete carrying motor to workshope for repair of motor ,dismentling and step opening to complete of under mentioned capacity, and segrigate all serviceable parts and kept at site for reuse and rewinding with PVC insulated supper quality water proof copper winding wire of suitable size/gauge and nos of turns incl replacing insulated material varnish, drying and submersible cable for connection from motor to out side up to 1.5 mtr length and reassembling including testing at site on full load complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in- charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement CI impeller suitable for 5 to 7.5 HP submersible pump including provision of phasing, cutting of key way etc complete to match with the size of pump shaft complete in all respect as specified and required at site.

Supply and fixing in replacement Gun metal bush suitable for impeller 5 to 7.5 HP submersible pump including provision of phasing, cutting of key way etc complete to match with the size of pump shaft complete in all respect as specified and required at site.

Supply and fixing in replacement stain less steel shaft suitable for 5 to 7.5 HP submersible pump including provision of way to fix the bushes for impellers etc complete to match with the existing size of pump shaft complete in all respect as specified and required at site.

S&F in replacement including taking out old unsv / burnt flat submersible copper conductor cable of size 6 Sqmm 3 core ,1100Volt , waterproof PVC insulated complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Devolping and flushing the bore wells for a period of 4 hours with high pressure compressed air pump till clear water flows out including removing and reflxing of installation complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- To avoid water supply hammpered in the station only one bore well will be handover to contractor for devolping and flushing after completion of one bore well work other will be handover to next day. Contractor will not demand to handover all bore well in one day. No extra amount will be paid to contractor for the time delay.

M&L for replacement of UPVC column pipe of size 50mm dia having flange end both side as column pipe with pressure rating 20 Kg/Sqcm in single segment of 3 m complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for nylon rope 16mm dia to be used in borewells as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying UPVC pipes 50 mm dia of pressure rating 10 KG/Sqcm laid in floor/wall complete including all fittings such as bends, tees, short pieces, connectors, elbows, reducers, union, sockets etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Collection of water samples from various open/ shallow/ bore wells/ sumps all as per standard instructions and guidelines of the Authorised lab once in six month, and transporting the samples safely and getting the same tested for chemical and bactyeriological tests from the same institute and submit the result all as specified and directed. Note:- Sample will be collected by contractor or his rep from various locations at Avadi Station and bottle and levelling of sample will be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.

M & L for Detecting leakage in Cast Iron Pressure Pipes of 200/250/300 mm bore in any location, any depth including necessary earthwork excavation and repairing and arresting leakage by providing S/S leak arrester andJointing Material, Flanged Clamps, Nuts, Washers & Bolts etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Rate for SS clamp any type will be included in the quoted rate.
