Demolishing lime concrete manually/ by mechanical means and disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer in-charge

Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ litre and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc, and preparing the surface complete.

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead.

For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :

1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for :

Retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc..

Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles of size 300x300 mm(thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement :4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc.,., complete.

6 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand)

Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in cement plaster work in proportion recommended by the manufacturers.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distember (Ready mix) having VOC content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).

Providing & fixing White vitreous china water closet squatting pan (Indian type) along with "S" or "P" trap including dismantling of old WC seat and "S" or "P" trap at site complete with all operations including all necessary materials, labour and disposal of dismantled material i/c malba, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in charge.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying : (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours.

(The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry.)

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.

(2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.

Filling of wall cracks using crack filler of approved make of FOSROC Renderoc CS crack filler of white shade and REPACRETE PREMIUM SBR OF CLOV CHEM (INDIA) Private Limited on both inner and outer surface of wall, by cleaning the area thoroughly ensure the surface is free from dust and loose particles. Press the Crack filler paste into the cracks using a spatula or putty knife. Level the surface with a putty knife to get a smooth & clean surface. Leave the filled surface upto 24 hours for Air cure etc complete all as per the manufacturers specifications & applications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and filling light weight cinder for sunken portion etc . Complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing M.S.chicken mesh to the vertical mat of reinforcement for plastering etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge

Repairs to damaged plastered surface with exposed reinforcment steel of parapet wall at terrace of Channapatna T.E.Building as detailed below: a)Surface preparation of existing RCC member with suitable tools to achieve a clean sound surface. Exposed surface should be cleaned and free of dust, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits.

b)Exposed corroded reinforcing steel should be cleaned by using emery cloth, FOSROC Or Equivalent chemical REEBAKLENS-RR @ 150 ml/sqm (As per manufacturer’s recommendation) to remove all loose scale and corrosion deposits so as give the steel to a bright condition.

c)Reinforcing steel shall be primed with Nitozinc Primer of FOSROC @ 250 ml/sqm Or Equivalent (As per manufacturer’s recommendation) immediately after cleaning.

d)The concrete substrate should be thoroughly dampened with water and any excess removed before being primed by thoroughly scrubbing in a slurry coat of 1 volume Nitbond SBR (Latex) of FOSROC @ 250 ml/sqm Or Equivalent (As per manufacturer’s recommendation) to 1 volume water to 3 volumes fresh cement @ 1.10kg/sqm. Complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (NOTE: Only surface area of exposed RCC structural member over which repair work is carried out shall be measured for payment).
