Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide & not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation etc or for manholes, laying of pipe in soft / loose type of soil and getting out complete all as specified.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling watering & well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up or down (from wall / trenches / floor) existing GI steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store of following sizes :-

(a) 50 mm bore.

(b) 40 mm bore.

(c) 25 mm bore.

(d) 20 mm bore.

(e) 15 mm bore.

Refixing only GI steel tubing and connections in new or old position including cleaning internally and externally, any grade / make (in trenches / wall / floor / ceiling) including all type of new fittings i.e. sockets, Tee union elbow etc all as specified and directed of following size:-

Supply, fixing & laying only GI tubing medium grade with one socket both end threaded in any length including cutting threading connection in new or old position and all type of GI new fittings for laid in trenches/wall/ceiling/ floor/ all as specified and directed of following size:-

(c) 25 mm bore.

S&F Gun metal globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixeding for following size:-

M&L push on rubber type gasket joint (tyton joint best quality ISI mark) for spigot and socket DI pipe and fittings of following sizes:

Supply and fixing cast iron flanged sluice valve of class PN-1.6 installed complete with ISI marked (IS-14846) with Mild steel spindle and hand wheel complete all as specified and directed including taking down old unserviceable sluice valve for following size :-

M&L for brickwork with sub class B brick straight or curved on plain exc 6 m mean radius built in cement morter 1:4 complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm stone aggregate as in copping/support both including necessary form work etc complete all as directed.

M & L for framed work for valve pit chamber cover made of MS angle and MS sheet including welding, cutting, hinges, locking arrangements including painting complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering(plastering) 15mm thick on fair face of brick work in CM 1:4 finished aven and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down existing any type of street/ security light fitting of any make or any capacity for repairs or replacement of burnt / worn out accessories (lamp , ballast, holder,acrlic cover,cable , LED driver, FTL Rod etc) through ladder / motorised / manual system from GI bracket on pole of any size and refixing the same after cleaning, general overhauling ,repairing and making serviceable and refixed the same in same location or any other location and testing complete all as directed. Note :- (a) Contractor should have to receive complaints through day to day basic from MES Power House. (b) Spare parts will be measured and paid seperately as under this BoQ.

M&L for carrying out repairs, in position, to defective street light fittings of any description and type fitted on any height of poles/ walls of buildings complete and making the fitting serviceable by replacing the unserviceable spares/ fittings for satisfactory functioning all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) Contractor should have to receive complaints through day to day basic from MES Power House. (b) Spare parts will be measured and paid seperately as under this BoQ.

S & F PVC insulated and sheathed (ISI marked) stranded alluminium conductor 4.0 Sqmm size, 2 core flat cable for street light connection from fitting connector to over head line including all fixing arrangement, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing MCCB adjustable thermal magnetic release type, 4 poles, 415 Volts, Lcu = 100% Ics, 25 KA breaking capacity of rating 63 Amps including all fixing accessories with both ends spreader links and disconnecting and taking out old U/S MCCB complete all as directed.

M & L for Earthing to OH/Sub stn with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to main earth lead 32 x 6 mm galvanised iron strip dia by means of bolts, nut, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of MES Schedule pt-I 1991, GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm protected by GI pipe 15mm dia light grade and connected to earth test point including excavation in any type of soil,returning filling, disposal of soil, providing charcoal dust and common salt upto top edge of earth plate, construction of PCC pit with RCC cover, funnel, watering pipe of 20mm dia GI light grade and provision of earth test point including testing on completion complete.
