Tightening and fixing in position loose hanging copper/aluminium strip of any size on wall or building roof using new insulators of porceline of approved size and fixing existing Aluminium/copper strip on the same as existing.(Insulators will be measured and paid separately against the item in the schedule)

Supply and fix in replacement of Copper Strip of size 20 X 3 .15mm buried/laid in trenches/fixed on wall/tower etc complete all as specified.

M & L for earthing of equipments with copper plate earth electrode 60cmx60cmx3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3.00 mtr below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 2.25m. below ground level) brazed with copper strip 20x3 mm size 7.0 mtr long and connected to copper strip of any size by means of copper bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- The rated quoted is deemed to the inclusive of the followings:- (a) The excavation and earth work (filling in, ramming in layers, watering etc as directed) in any type of soil for earth pit (pit size 1.20x 1.20x3.0mtr). (b) Perforated GI tubing (ISI marked) light grade 50mm bore 7.0 mtr long for strip protection and watering. (c) Common salt charcoal dust in alternative layers of 15cm, up to 60cm above the top of copper plate all as directed (Salt - 300Kg, Charcoal dust - 500 Kg). (d) Earth chamber of internal size 600mmx600mmx600mm, built in PCC (1:3:6) type C2 bed 15cm thick at bottom, brick work in CM 1:6 upto 45cm over PCC bed and PCC (1:3:6) type C1 coping 15cm above, embedded with MS angle 50mmx50mmx3mm frame work duly painted with anti corrosive bituminous paint, with and including RCC slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4Kg per Sqm) having lifting arrangement duly painted in green and making earth pit as directed. (e) On testing, after completion, if the earth resistance < 2 Ohms is not obtained, earthing will be regenerated at no extra cost till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (f) GI tubing, bib tap etc for provisioning of continuous water supply at earthing pit will be measured and paid seperately under respective schedule of the contract.

M & L for chemical earthing complete with copper plate earth electrode 90cmx60cmx5 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 4.00 mtr below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 3.25 mtr below ground level) brazed with copper strip 50x6 mm size 7.5 mtr long and connected to copper strip of any size by means of copper bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- The rated quoted is deemed to the inclusive of the followings:- (a) The excavation and earth work (filling in, ramming in layers, watering etc as directed) in any type of soil for earth pit (pit size 1.20x 1.20x4.0mtr). (b) Perforated GI tubing (ISI marked) light grade 80mm bore 7.0 mtr long for strip protection and watering. (c) Common salt charcoal dust in alternative layers of 15cm, up to 90cm above the top of copper plate and one layers of 15cm Magnesium sulphate (MgSo4) all as directed (Salt - 500Kg, Charcoal dust - 1000 Kg & MgSo4 - 150 Kg). Taking down and up any type of copper/aluminium strip of any size and type on wall or building roof for execution of misc works on roof and the same has been to be fix after completion of work. (Insulators,nut bolts with washers and any type of strip will be measured and paid separately against the item in the schedule)

Notes:- (a) The amount of Rs 158560/- against Schedule of Credit on Page No. 121 & 122 shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch 'A' while deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance. (b) Any material required to be replaced for complaint rectification other than insulation tape, thimbles and as specified in complaint item shall be measured and paid seperately under respective supply only item. (c) The cost of attending complaints shall also include the cost of stationery required for recording complaint, complaint slips and its reports as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (d) All the complaint registered (except point wiring / sub-main wiring and connected S&F items) before 0930 Hrs of every day shall be rectified on same day upto 1700 Hrs. Any delay in complaint rectification a penalty shall be recovered @ Rs.100/ per complaint per day. (e) The items supplied by contractor as supply only shall be taken on charge by deptt. (f) All T&P required to electrician deployed by the contractor for complaint rectification shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. (g) Any disturbed surface during execution of work shall be made good as existing. Nothing extra shall be paid in this respect. The quoted rate are deemed to be included the same cost.
