REPAIR/RESURFACING OF ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT IAM, 26ED AND GV CAMP UNDER GE (AF) MARATHAHALLI

Material & labour for preparing old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical spray machine fitted with boiler complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) omplete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix using bitumen of grade VG-30, rolled and compacted with 8-10 tonne power road roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) The mix shall be mixed in computerised hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver only. (ii) The mix shall be designed by job mix formula. (iii) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportaion etc. for job mix formula and independent testing during execution of work shall be inclusive in the unit rate quoted and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

M&L for cleaning the road surface of dirt,seals oil,greese and foreign materials etc and applying 2.5mm thick marking strips,dashes,arrows (Retro refective) of white or yellow colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully semi automatic thermo plastic paints applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propan tank heater and profiles shoe heater driven by operator on road surface complete all as specified and directed. Note : Glass beads shall not be less than 300g/Sqm all as specified.

S & F in repairs cat eye's solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 20 mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model no DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. of colour white/red/yellow side provided with steel zinc plastered nail or dia 12 mm and length 120 mm by hammering complete all as specified and directed. Make : Greenlite/Gogia plastic/Green or equivalent as approved by GE.
