The tenderer must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less; where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. However, in case balance sheet of the previous year is yet to be prepared/ audited, the audited balance sheet of the fourth previous year shall be considered for calculating average annual contractual turnover. To assist in the examination, evaluation & comparison and prequalification of the Tender, the Railway may, at its discretion, ask any Bidder for a clarification of its Bid. Any clarification submitted by a Bidder that is not in response to a request by the Railway shall not be entertained or considered. The Railway request for clarification and the response of the bidder in this regard shall be in writing. However, if a Bidder does not provide clarification of its bid by the date and time communicated in the Railway request for clarification, the bid shall be evaluated as per the documents submitted along with the bid.
Tenderer should comply with the provision of EPF&ESI Scheme as modified from time to time and should registered themselves with concerned authority or submit registration issued by authority concerned within 30 days from the date of issue of (LOA), otherwise no payment will be released.
