Piping General Arreangement Drawing Preparation of piping GAD before start of fabrication work. The GAD shall have complete details for the section of Fire water network to be modified. This GAD shall also indicate the entire Fire water network of the station, however, complete section details shall not be required for the part of fire water network, not to be modified in this project. Contractor shall prepare the drawing and get it approved by EIC before start of fabrication work.

This SOR is dedicated for updation of the drawing incorporating all the changes made in the fire water network of station till completion of this project.

MECHANICAL WORKS FOR FIRE WATER NETWORK SYSTEM

SUPPLY & FABRICATION, ERECTION, INSTALLATION AND HYDRO TESTING OF FIRE WATER NETWORK PIPING

Supply ,Fabrication ,Installation , Hydro Testing including procurement and transportation to worksite(s)/workshop(s) including loading, unloading and handling for the following materials to be supplied by Contractor as per the requirement of PMS, MRs, specifications, data-sheets, standards, instructions of Owner/ Engineer- in-Charge and other provisions of Contract for Installation Supply of all materials (except those specified subsequently in SOR), equipment, consumables as defined in Contractor's scope of supply and their transportation to the work site(s); contractor scope of work include the following:- 1. Performing all above ground/buried Fire water piping fabrication works including cutting, edge preparation (inclusive of grinding the edges of pipes, fittings, flanges etc. to match with the matching edges of uneven/ different thickness wherever required), fit up, bending, pre-heating wherever required, welding, threading etc.; 2. Erection of pipes of all types at all elevations; hook-up with equipment nozzles; all types of inline and online instruments such as safety valves, pressure gauges etc. (other than those covered separately), fittings of all sizes i.e. elbows, reducers, tees, 'o' lets, flanges, blind flanges, tappings for pressure gauges, thermowells, hoses and hose couplings of all sizes,if applicable, vents and drains required for process and hydrotesting purposes etc. including fixing of all types of gaskets, bolts, studs and nuts of all sizes; 3. Carrying out non-destructive testing & hydrotesting (excluding radiography covered subsequently in SOR). Hookup of the new above ground network with the existing facilities as per drawings wherever required; cleaning and flushing by water/ compressed air, carrying out hydrostatic test and any other type of testing as specified, cutting/ rebeveling (as required), clean-up and restoration of site, preparation of as built drawings, documents and project records; completing all works in all respects as per the IFC drawings, Piping General Arrangement drawings (GAD's), specifications, standards and other provisions of Contract and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- a)Dismantling of existing Valves, Nozzles, Hose Pipe & Hose Cabinet etc. and any other equipment for reuse will be inclusive in SOR.No separate payment shall be made for dismentling except Cutting, grinding, buffing & edge preparation Of Pipe/fitting/flanges of existing FW network which will be paid as per SOR M1.5.1 b) All butt welded fittings end shall generally match with connecting pipe wall thickness. However, in case of misalignment, contractor shall have to do end preparation accordingly without any extra cost. c) All couplings, nipples etc. as required shall be supplied by contractor without any extra cost. d) All Gaskets & Nut-Bolts of adequate quantity shall be supplied and installed without any extra cost. Cost is deemed to be included in this item. e) Hydro test of New Laying Pipe line along with Valves without any extra cost. Cost is deemed to be included in this item.

CIVIL WORK FOR FIRE WATER NETWORK SYSTEM

DEMOLITION OF R.C.C./BRICKS/STONE MASONRY/ROAD

Site clearance by demolition of R.C.C./Brickwork/Stone Masonry/Stone Soling/road, Flexible pavements etc. along with removing the debris and disposal of unserviceable material to any lead and staking of serviceable materials, handing over serviceable material to concerned department if required as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The cutting of road shall be required for laying underground pipeline or any other purpose as per site requirement for the tendered work. Note: 1.
