REPAIR/ RENEWAL OF WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, REPLACEMENT OF CONTROL VALVE, VALVE CHAMBERS AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS WORKS AT DGQA COMPLEX UNDER GE(U) SECUNDERABAD

Supply, fabrication, installation, and commissioning in repair/ replacement of a retro-reflective glow sign board for MES offices/ works, complete in all respects and as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The work comprises providing a double-sided sign board of size 2000 mm × 1500 mm made of 2 mm thick Aluminium Composite Panel with 2 mm aluminium skin, incorporating High-Intensity Prismatic Type IV retro-reflective sheeting conforming to IRC:67–2012, with a green background and white computerized cut vinyl reflective lettering as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, designed to reflect light when illuminated by external sources such as vehicle headlights. The sign board shall be supported on two 40 mm diameter mild steel (MS) pipes of 3 mm thickness conforming to IS:1239, fixed at a height of 3.5 m above ground level, complete with base plates of size 150 mm × 150 mm × 6 mm and anchor bolts. The MS members shall be finished with two coats of anti-corrosive primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint in green colour. The work includes providing PCC M15 (1:2:4) foundations for each pole measuring 0.40 m × 0.40 m × 0.60 m, including excavation, reinforcement with four numbers of 8 mm diameter MS bars conforming to IS:432, centering, formwork, backfilling, and curing. The sign board shall be securely fixed using stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers (M10) conforming to IS:1367. The job includes all labour, materials, tools, plants, transportation, alignment, levelling, erection, and finishing, complete in accordance with relevant IS standards, IRC specifications, MES practices, and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for scrubbing of old painted surface, background painting and painting of slogan as "SAVE WATER AND SAVE ELECTRICITY", "Save Water, Save Life" "Every Drop Counts" "Don’t Waste Water" "Use Water Wisely" "Save Blue, Live Green" "Make Every Drop Count" "Water is Life—Conserve It" on the OH TANKS, with letter height minimum 24" / 600mm complete including Polyurethane (PU) Paint, painting brushes, painter, plant and machinery required etc.. Note :- ONLY TWO SLOGANS WILL BE WRITTEN ON ONE TANK FROM THE GIVEN SLOGANS IN ONE JOB. Machinery/ equipments/ framework required for painting of slogans on the overhead tanks will be deemed to be included in the item rate and nothing extra will be paid to contractor on this account.

Material labour for removing of submersible pump motor set of capacity up to 10 HP stuck in side the borewell of depth up to 250 meter including by flushing the existing borewells of any size with drilling compressor mounted on truck up to pressure of 7 Kg / Sqcm with compressed air and flushing the sand, mud including flushing out tree roots etc from the bore well till discharge of the fresh water and then clear the bore by using Rod drilling using Bore well drilling machine from any kind of obstruction, reinstall the motor and column pipe, necessary electric connection and testing complete all as specified and directed . Note; rate quoted by the contractor inclusive of Flushing by using suitable compressor, rod drilling for clearing of bore well, Removing the submersible pump set stuck inside the bore well and reinstall the same after repair including removing and refixing of column pipe, electrical connections, testing etc as required .

Supply & fixing in replacement of HDPE heavy duty column pipe in Bore well internal dia 50mm PN 16kq/ Sqmm including all necessary fittings and fixtures as requited for fixing with submersible motor Complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate inclusive of fixing of pipe with submersible motor and lowering in existing bore well

Disconnecting and removing the water and electric connections carefully from the existing submersible pump sets of capacity up to 7.5 HP and taking out the pump set alongwith pipes and fittings for flushing the bore well up to 450 feet depth or repair the pump set and strip opening the pump set for repairs/ replacement of worn out spares, refixing of serviceable spares, assembling the pump set completely, testing of pump set, lowering the pump set inside the bore well after repairs including connecting back the water and electric connections, commissioning of pump set for satisfactory operation on its full load complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rewinding the Submersible pump Motor with PVC insulated, super enamelled copper conductor with ‘F’ class heavy grade insulation weight and turns to achieve its full efficiency including tying the winding and connecting the coils and brining the connections as that of existing one including applying insulating varnish, heating and backing the windings thoroughly including taking down old existing copper winding complete all as specified and directed for Submersible pump motor of following capacity :- Submersible Motor up to and including 5 HP.

Submersible Motor above 5 HP up to 7.5 HP.

Supply only the following spares suitable for existing make of submersible/ centrifugal pump set up to 7.5 HP capacity, multi stage for repairs complete all as specified and directed :- Gun metal Impeller.
