Regular tower to tower ground patrolling of approximate 711 Km. following mentioned 132 KV lines. Patrolling work consist of detection of the defects like missing/theft tower members, hot point, punctured/ flashed over insulator disc, dislocation of vibration dampers/ damaged conductor/earthwire, checking of foundation/stubs & position of trees in the corridor of 27 meter of the lines & submission of patrolling report in two copy at concerning subdivision and division each. Patrolling shall be done regularly on Quarterly basis i.e. 4 times in a year. (i) 132 KV Faridnagar – Pilkhuwa Line (11.098 KM) (ii) 132 KV Hapur(220) – Pilkhuwa )(10.86 Km) (iii) 132 KV Hapur(220) - Babugarh Line (12.60Km)

Opening/cutting of nut-bolts of remaining cut pieces of tower members stolen by miscreants to be opened/cut safely with the help of gas cutter/hacksaw blade including all required labour and T&P for proper completion of work satisfactory.

Fabrication & fixing of tower parts/members from scrap GI angle including cartage of steel angles from the substation store, punching holes, proper tightening of nut & bolts, punching & chamfering of bolts at different locations of above transmission line.

Tack welding of new & old nut & bolts if required.

Strengthening/Replacement of damaged jumpers at tension towers.

Tightening of jumpers at tension towers on both side.

Replacement of damaged/punctured insulators string at different tower locations including cartage of material from store to work site of the above line. (i) For suspension string

(ii) For tension string.

Lopping, chopping and cutting of trees branches in the 27 meters corridor of above line and stacking of above cuttings at proper place far from the line.

Repairing of damaged ACSR Panther conductor by jointing with one number repair sleeve including lowering down of conductor and restring of the same with all other associated work to complete the job satisfactorily.

Replacement of damaged ACSR Panther conductor by binding and fixing required Mid span compression joint/Tension fitting as per requirement of site including lowering down of conductor and re-string of the same for completion of the work satisfactorily.

Attending breakdown of broken panther conductor by binding & fixing required mid span compression joints including lowering down the conductor and re-string of the same (up to 1 Km.)

Emergency patrolling of 132 KV Lines in the event of tripping/breakdown to find out fault cause, location and type of fault in above line.

Stringing & fixing of missing earthwire/OPGW between different tower location span.

Attending breakdown of earthwire/OPGWtightening of loose earthwire upto 01 km)

Removal of bird nest & other foreign material from cross arm & cage of tension/suspension towers. The removed nests will be thrown 150 meter away from the line.
